not true, there are story locked weekly bosses as well
Okay? I'm way more gated to raise my characters in Granblue or Blue Archive or other games. Gated by rank in Granblue, gated by level(and thus stats) in BA.
This isn't remotely unique to Genshin (and Star Rail)
>I'm way more gated to raise my characters in Granblue or Blue Archive or other games.
No you're not. if a new player started any of those games today, you're only gated by being a new player, and you can slowly catch up. If a new player stared honkai and or genshin today, not only are they gated by being a new player, they're also gated by. >New characters needs mats in regions that they haven't unlocked >Meaning most characters can't go pass lvl 20 >This is going to happen since rate up and standard banners is now mostly made up of non early area characters >Skills, ults, and passives all require the same regions mats that a new player hasn't unlocked to lvl, and in genshin books in those same regions >Have fun grinding all of those mats as a new player
Take mihoyo dick out of yotx8x4xur ass homosexual.
the point was literally that the game timegates character progression
why the frick do you feel the need to hop on hoyo dick to defend it even if it is true?
I'm a few patches behind. The second they add a skip button (the good kind of skip button, with a summary) I'll be playing again and they'll probably get more money out of me.
I played many world quests like the Golden Slumber, The Dirge of Bilqis, The Chasm Delvers, and Valor's Afterglow. So my total hours played is actually 190
>still no skip button
>new players can't even build a new character they roll without sitting through 54 hours of story
Haha

you can't read. that post was about reading 54 hours of the dogshit unskippable story
which isn't an issue in either of those games
Those kind of games nowadays don't even take that much time to catch up when playing regularly while ignoring the stories, unlike genshit.

I like the story
>only 54 hours
weak shit
>new players can't even build a new character they roll without sitting through 54 hours of story
Only true for those who need Inazuma's materials.

It's probably only 30 hours long if they remove all the pointless recaps from Paimon.
>Full game walkthrough
>Still receiving updates
Bull**** title of a video.
Did you want to play the whole game in less than that? What's the point?
What's the point of playing a boring bloat/filler content?
Best containment game ever
This, honestly
It contains all the mentally ill fujo/homo/ship tards so that they dont pollute other games
probably drop to less than 10h if you add a skip button for all that trash story
I feel dread just thinking about re-installing genshin
Glad I quit years ago and never looked back
Same. I honestly enjoyed fricking around whenever a new region dropped but fuuuuuck reading their shitty and unskippable story.
I just started playing Genshin a week ago and already caught up to the current update with about 170 hours logged
I might be the exception as I don't roll for every character and focus on the ones that I have already
>a week ago
>170 hours
This is reasonable
Why thank you
