>A (technically) F2P method of obtaining Pokemon made available from the DLC updates without having to buy the DLC itself or transferring from the prior generation >"This was a mistake"
Hello, TPC
You can put lgpe pokemon into home and put them back into lgpe just fine, but if you put them into another game then it can't go back, mostly because of the weird way stats and everything is calculated in that game
This.
Looking back at the map now and retracing the path that the game intends you to take is a whirlwind of putting you in places that make you feel lost or feel like you're in dead ends that you find the only passage through.
The feeling of isolation when on the boat sections in the south west of the map is a great moment.
That isn't what I said or meant. Look at the land routes in Hoenn, they are diverse and interesting to transverse. The water routes all use the same tiles, the same random pokemon and all feel the same.
>Half the region is water >Water routes have the same 3 encounters throughout with the same trainer archetype constantly challenging you
What a shit show.
I love how tightly Hoenn wraps around itself in the first "half" of the map (before getting Surf). It feels like you fully explore that part in a natural way. Then getting Surf opens up a whole nother chunk of the map, leading right into the enormous Route 119. Just the way you traverse the left half so thoroughly makes the right half feel so mysterious. It perfectly captures the feeling of going on a new adventure.
I hate how "modern emerald" is the closest to the best Gen 3 hack but it fricking leaves out shit like modern held items and the new abilities.
I want to play Gen 3 (with their gen 4 evolutions) with Gen 9 mechanics.
all good except for homosexualree city
Lillycovegay detected.
>half the region is dry land the other is water
BRAVO GF
It got hit by a meteor.
silly way of viewing it. the land is a normal sized region by itself. the water is just extra.
>one word(period)
homosexual.
>responding to one word period with one word period
Hypocrite.
>surfing out to a little stranded island on route 127-129 and building your secret base there
SOVL
No, that's Hoenn. This is Home.
Letting GO Pokemon into Home was a mistake.

Hello, TPC
Most moronic pokemon fan
why? people already gen anything they want, mobiletards can't do any more damage.
What's up with LGPE being one-way? This is fricking weird.
It's because it uses a simplified way of calculating stats and Gamefreak is too lazy to implement a conversion back.

>All that empty space

The scope of the map was impressive for its time. It definitely felt more expansive.

The water routes really aren't that bad with repels
The aren't any good either. They are just boring.
NOOOO IT MUST BE AN OPEN WORLD!!! I MUST VENTURE AND EXPLOOOREE
But this is what the water routes tried to do. And it succeeded.

I just use an electric type. Never found an issue since you only have to navigate it once since you can fly back.
It helps that Hoenn has a good surfing speed, if it was slower it'd be hell
Pretty sure that's Hoenn.
Zoomer homosexual
hoemm
Hoenn is the peak of Pokémon regions, no other game will ever match its beauty
>Half the region is water

What a shit show.
Seeth more sinnohtroon
Rent free
You killed Pokemania btw
It was dead by crystal and the release of the phantom menance
That's when it peaked. Reread your wiki article, zoomer.
Then why was Masuda scared of the fad being dead when developing RSE, note developing not after release. You are the zoomer
what about Kalos?
I've come to appreciate the design of Hoenn a lot now that I'm berry farming. Very easy to get around due to the lack of route gates or other bs
shit region
At least it was till Groudon fricked everything up.
