Frank Klepacki is the master of C&C OSTs, but this is the one instance where EA actually managed to pull things right, RA3 comes a close second but they wasted too much effort in dynamic music, C&C3 OST was just a Hans Zimmer copycat around the time he lost his soul.
Mechanical Mind and the Act on Instinct remix are about the only genuinely good tracks you find in C&C3, which is sad because the game only needed a few tweaks:
-De-nerf early economy and/or fix the AI so it can get money or something so you don't need to start with 40000 to make it work.
-Allow all factions to replenish infantry squads DoW1 style without having to go to structures
-debug the desync
-Fix a few animation problems and up the engine to at least 60fps.
They made too many ambience/background type tracks for it and no real themes. The only ones that come close to being memorable are Guilty Pleasure (one of the victory tracks, too short), Renegade Attack (again, too short and buried between long ambient shit) and Light Infantry.
Shut the frick up
Generals OST is amazing
For me it's USA Theme 06.
yes
How do I deal with this in early game?
A couple commanches patrolling with some patriots ruin any early game rush.
Spam quads
Check THESE quads
quadcannons tear them to shit
if china gattling tank
if USA use raptors to take them down or that weird laser vehicle
yes

I don't think C&C3 has a single good track. I love the gameplay but the music is literally forgettable.
They had a bunch of good remixes of old stuff in KW

The Floating Monstrosity is pretty good
My bad, thought you were talking about RA3.
nice
Black Dawn is simple but effective, I wish the game was half as moody with how fricked the Earth is.
true but i don't think it has bad ost, it's good. you just can't really compete with klepacki. it fits the theme perfectly otherwise.
It's quiet out there general. You know what quiet means, right? BOOOM! Ha ha ha ha ha!
Sonic boom, baby. Let's do this thang.
