I dropped it at its buggy launch and the tone of its story wasn't appealing enough to ever bring me back. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid is one of my favorite movies and it ends dark but the world itself isn't so dreary.
I think people who have problems with Cyberpunk's gameplay use guns. As a street samurai using nades, cybernetics, throwing knife and katana it's great. The air dash and a lot from the update made this playstyle even better with stuff like bullet deflect, the new longer dodge etc. Vehicle combat with this playstyle is pretty shit but whipping my katana around while on my motorcycle is something I don't think any other game does.
I actually really a lot some of the guns in this game a lot. The Ajax/Copperhead AR's feel nice and chunky to use, the various Overtures are all great, that one Tech Shotgun feels amazing to blow people away with, etc.
2.0 really didn't change much
it addressed some of the most egregious bugs, like police spawning on top of you, but other than that it's basically the same game
perks would be more interesting, but the enemies are still braindead and never a threat so whether you unlock all of them or none of them it really doesn't make much of a difference.
It's slightly better, but it's not a different game.
from a 4.0 to a 4.5
The story is still nonsense, the characters are unappealing and boring (except Takemura), the combat is easy.
Visually it was always impressive, the vibe is perfect in some key spots in the city, that's not something that came with 2.0
I will give them credit for not offering any traditional "happy" endings where instead it seems like bittersweet is the best you can get and a lot of the others are objectively bleak. I always kind of liked the game but didn't appreciate it fully until the Starfield/Cyberpunk 2.0 contrast was presented.
What's the point of top tier graphics if npc animations and ai are moronic and immediately take you out of it, and the combat and writing are shallow and dumbed down
Kino of the highest order
Awesome screenshot anon, what do you use to resize the images for Ganker

Get out of here toddler, grabbing your peanuts doesn't impress anyone and it's not content.
How DARE you say something positive about Tortanic 2020's edition!

like a very polished turd that can deflect bullets
I shouldn't have """upgraded""" to 2.0, I hate the polish fricks working on this game
>He didn't back up 1.63 before updating
Your fault for being moronic
gameplay, right? RIGHT?
lol, dont @ me, bot, dont care
Buy an ad
>it just looks good
correct, everything else is mediocre
It crashed on my PS5 and i uninstalled it.
7/10 at absolute best. Entire game is 'go to map marker and killing everything' garbage, and no amount of bug fixes years later will change that
Wish I could run it at native 4K+ path tracing+steady 60fps but who knows if that will be possible even with the Blackwell cards
