lil' bayonutta gets a new ability where she swallows her opponents whole
Why???
I'm a big fan of kirby and I feel like more games should take inspiration. why did you think I wanted it?
Cause you wanted a sequel to explain how she lost that ability hence why it's not available in any of the games where she's a lesbian
obviously she gave up being a throat goat to tongue pussy better, doesn't even need explanation its just so obvious
But like why wouldn't you potentially explain that in another game?
You know, if P* is so obsessed with having a "online multiplayer", why they don't make one set in the Bayonetta verse where you create your own umbra witch and lumen sage and go into multiplayer missions with other players?
Literally Tag Climax in 2 which was just kind of mediocre after the novelty wore off.
Limited by the technology of its time.
That was just an extra, i mean a complete game built around being multiplayer.
anarchy reigns had fun co-op
Bayonaked
Morgana is going to become Madama Butterfly, it's so fucking obvious.
The demo doesn't let you do much but it's endless charming and some preview footage shows more interesting puzzles and combat options so I'm down. This is the most a Platinum game has felt like a Clover game since Madworld.
>Was hoping for a Bayo Origins game about Madama Butterfly when this was announced
>Turns out this IS her game
Based.
I didn't really think about that but that would mean she dies somehow in this game. Speaking of age, madama butterfly is around Bayonetta's age of 500 years or so and I guess so is Cheshire considering he's a new born demon.
I guess that they will detail in this game how a human can become a demon and will probably use that for Bayo 4. Bayonetta becomes a demon and is the big reveal for 4's end game, where her daughter contracts with her.
It turns out that Bayonetta didn't get dragged into the inferno with Luka. He teleported them out of there just like the dream boy pulled her out of portal to the inferno in her dreams. They're both alive and well in the world of chaos which explains how Viola got her dad's scarf and a photo of them together that couldn't be viewed properly until the art book released.
>always found Bayonetta ugly
>Cereza in Bayo 1 looks like a goblin
>Suddenly in this game Cereza looks cute.
Amazing how a big difference can an artstyle make.
IIRC she's designed as a midpoint between little Cereza and Bayonetta, obviously not in exact age but she's got to be 10-12 here instead of little Cereza in 1 who was like 4-6.
That is irrelevant in this, i am talking of the artstyle, if teenager cereza was in the same artstyle than the main games then I would find her ugly.
Fair enough. The art director is Tomoko Nishii, who hasn't had much work in the industry thus far it seems, just environments on Bayo 2, cutscene art for Automata, concept art for Babylon's Fall, and now Bayo Origins. Glad they took a chance on her (like they did with the director) since the game is gorgeous.
Here's a piece Nishii did for the recent 10th anniversary of Revengeance.
>metal gear rising is already 10 years old
Where have the years gone, bros?
I like the artstyle and storybook presentation a lot. It reminds me of a lot of stuff from Paper Mario 1 and 2, like Boggly Woods.
this doesn't look good or interesting at all. i don't know what the point in wasting time and resources on this was. its gonna flop and be instantly forgotten, this isn't a TSA situation this just looks like shit.
"TSA"?
Travis Strikes Again, I guess they're both genre-shifting spinoffs to action games for Switch.
A hope for kid
Higher difficulties. It goes down in the demo but not up, but maybe you have to unlock it. Hope the battles get at least somewhat hectic. Storywise, I want to know why Cereza isn't wearing her watch and if Morgana is going to become Madam Butterfly. Also, Luka and Cheshire. What's the connection? More Jeanne. Just more.
Demo doesn't really get into combat much, I watched a preview and there were more things that Cheshire can do at least, plus if you check the Archive in the demo you can see that there's like 25+ entries there and we only see one.
I've seen some clips. If they throw enough enemies at us I think it will be fun to manage if not challenging. Like the hidden challenge fights in Okami, maybe. Oh, also, I hope there's a Rodin cameo.
I hope Lukaon does this.
With how on point 3 was with the consistent little character nods, I’d be more surprised if it didn’t happen.
Is this going to be any good?
I see the trailers and it doesn't pick my interest in the slightest, what do you all think? Why are you looking forward to this?
Grnuine question, i want to know, not bad faith or anything.
It seems fun and is cute. Seems compently put together based on the demo. I love the series and am the only person in the world that enjoyed the story in Bayonetta 3 so it's an easy sell for me.
Demo didn't really feel like it had a hook.
