I think your problem is just how invested you got in the gameplay loop, I've been playing the game since launch and only come back once in a while when something interests me (a particular banner, new story or event translation, etc) and I've never been burned out even though it's pretty much been the same thing since launch and the content has always been barren, because to me it always felt like a casual game who's true value is the story (and fanart it generates).
Also 400$ is too much money spent on any gacha game, let alone Housamo.

nta but how else would you get anything without being involved in the gameplay loop, and that assumes you're a spending player like how most regular players clearly are
F2P with these "rates" have it even worse as I can personally attest to. so you have to scrape even harder for less. you might as well try to be invested in the gameplay, as there isn't a chance in hell they'll kill off the gacha garbage and re-up this as a free or even paid single player package with all of the content.
And again, this is a side game, emphasis on "side" at best, despite on average having potentially more content I actually want then gachas I would consider to be mainly played gachas. I can't see how it would be better for someone who finds this (or L-A-H or even both together) their main gacha, without heavy whaling at least.

The sixth, and supposedly final, episode of the Summer Pool Twilight event was released today. Completing it unlocks a new Challenge Quest.
While this quest is harder than the first two, it's still relatively easy when compared with other CQs.
The only annoying thing in the first phase is the enemy Gorozaemon's Fear on appearance, which you should try to clear as soon as possible.
The second phase pits you against a 3x3 boss Jorm. Aside from being immune to most debuffs, he has a lot of health, and regains most of it (if not all of it) at the start every new turn. On the fifth turn, he unleashes a flat-damage CS that is nearly guaranteed to wipe your team.
Since he's a 3x3 boss, however, you should be able to take him down before he reaches that point.

I haven't played since shortly after the AR system was introduced. How absolutely, fricked will I be if I attempt to start again? Is shit getting translated at least? How many Lil' Sal plushies do I need to buy to be competitive?
Older events, kits, and the main story have been getting translated on a regular basis. There's still a ~2 year delay between an event coming out and it receiving a full translation + rerun, but that's been the case since translations have been a thing.
In terms of gameplay, older units are still usable, although it might take you some time to catch up with the main story, go through stuff like pas events and dungeon quests, levelling up your units, etc.

He's not just a damage sponge, but he's not that useful compared to other cards.
The idea is that he basically sits in the frontline, tanks hits with Tenacity, debuffs enemies with Charm when hit, all while filling his and his allies' Charge Points.
He does a little bit of everything, with some tanking, some healing, some CS charging... the issue is that he doesn't do any of these things particularly well.
His skill evolution makes him slightly better, giving him the ability to buff allies behind him with Evasion and a new unique buff to synergise with that skill, Taunt Strengthening. Basically, the buff improves his proc rates by 60% when he has Taunt (that's a 100% guaranteed Charm and a 70% chance to apply Evasion). Unfortunately, Taunt Strengthening is removed after being hit once, although he gets it back at the start of every turn.

i got his 3 and standard 4* but I'm probably gonna be too late for the limited one. maybe i can save up enough gems for one or two more 10 pulls. there's no tricks to increasing your odds with banner characters is there? i only got the fricking swimsuit girl so far

mentions you need one copy of the character, perform one limit break, and if I remember correctly for some characters you need to see certain events. All limited events are in the Event quests tab on the map and everything related to the event will be removed in about 10 days from now including the special quests which those should be translated in the next few days. For summoning if you spend 5 stones or 1 ticket the odds are 80% you'll get 3 star character, 18% 4 star and 2% 5 star however when you do a multi summon with 50 stones the 10th character will be a guaranteed 4 or 5 star character. The rates will be 96% and 4% respectively of course this does not mean the 4 or 5 star character will be one that's shown on the banner. Honestly if you really want Summer Amatsumara you can buy stones and summon until you get him but the other option is to reroll which means to delete your account start over play until you can summon a few times rinse and repeat until you get him.

LW has switched voice actors for characters in the past (Barguest, Horkeu Kamui, etc.), but that was just for VAs who retired, not dead ones. That, and Gamma's status, makes an Ahab variant extremely unlikely.
I don't think the problem is the VA, it's been way enough time that it wouldn't be disrespectful to give Ahab a new one, it's entirely due to the fact he's a gamma character.
Jormungandr's introduction might be an indication that they won't change the VA since both him and Ahab have the same voice. Being a gamma fan is just torture...
I am pretty sure that they take place during past loops, there is a part in chapter 10 that MC remembers the event chars when Jacob was using his SA to restore memories
Most of the early events are in this weird spot where they get optionally referenced in the main story since I don't think they had quite settled into the repeating loop storyline at that point.
Although after the Tycoon chapter it's pretty explicit all the events are in past loops, and if things connect them (like Agyo being a Summoner) it's because a similar thing to the actual event we played took place in that loop.
The Seaside Fashionista rerun is almost over, and we have some news on the new summer event.
"Akiba and the Dragons" is set to be released tomorrow, August 30, at 20:00 JST (basically 25 hours from now).

as someone new to this game and the gatcha format in general, will there eventually be a significant pause between events? I was hoping to have a chance to stockpile some resources between them but they seem to be coming one after another
Generally speaking, Housamo (and gacha games in general) try not to have big breaks between one campaign and the other in order to retain player interest.
Having said that, there are periods of "drought" during the year, where there aren't any events or long-running campaigns.
For Housamo, generally speaking, the post-Valentine period (March-June) tends to be pretty barren. Aside from new Main Quest scenarios and the odd rerun, there's a bunch of weeks where nothing happens. October and November can also be "empty" months, but there's a chance tht LW releases a Halloween event or something else in that timeframe.
Managing resources is probably one of the more frustrating things to do in the early game, but it does get better after a while.
New Years' events also have a system that lets you complete farming quests to gather tokens called Offerings, which can be used to pull on a resource gacha. Even without farming a lot, the Offering gacha lets you stockpile years' worth of resources in a short amount of time.

This IS the significant pause between events. Reprint events like the one going on right now are your second chances to get the characters you didn't pull and get a small helping of event rewards to stockpile for the brand new characters that are going to be released afterwards.
I was in your same position 3 years ago when I joined during a repeat event wondering how the frick I was supposed to save anything, it felt like all the events were rapid-fire and non-stop. Oh trust me buddy, there *will* be trash events and banners. If you're f2p you'll learn very quickly you can't roll 10 on every banner more than once, it's just not possible unless there's a login event with generous stone rewards.
I hope you at least know what to get from event shops. The seeds are always a priority for stat boosting, followed by tokens, crystals, and medallions.

If i got shit right his gimmick seems to be that he applies status effects and then the damage is from the status effects (more= more damage with each effect adding flat damage), kinda feels like he should been 4* if not for character popularity, though im probably just having confirmation bias about what should be average 5* capability from luckgayging some powerful units.

Yeah, but it was pretty noticeable when using them for the Grinding bonus compared to how using bonus units usually goes (Especially since event quests tend to be tailor made to make the event 5* characters good picks), like you say they are usable because the game ain't really that competitive, but so are 3* characters (who give fanservice by default due using the talking sprites, thus always gets a ton of costumes, except Garmr).

Hephaestus fights using Talos so it wouldn't really makes sense for them to be separate
That would mean looking through 160+ characters and different skins for their 3* version. What would be the next step after trying to find characters with the most detailed bulges?
I was bored and looked through the first six elements on the wiki and judge who has the biggest dick/bulge in their respective element. I'm judging based on 3 star art because everyone is shown standing unlike 4 and 5 star art where characters are typically shown in more dynamic poses/angles where others are not also the 3 star art has more skins to possibly see things better.
All- Protagnist 3
Infinity- Jormungandr (Only one in element)
Zero- unsure as Gorozaemon's gender is listed as other and they don't seem to have a bulge
Infernal- I'd say Takemaru but Surtr, Daikoku, and Tezcatlipoca seem really close.
Valiant- Gullinbursti. Balor is the obvious choice but he's a giant and I don't know how tall he is depicted in his 3 star art
World- Tangaroa∞

I literally just ended up borrowing some friend account that only has 5 star Cthugha with a basic maxed out loadout and used my sadly 3-star Leannan Sidhe against for and it caused evil tindy to explode.

just constantly piling damage on Catoblepas with my 5star Bael, bonus units and Friend Bonus support eventually melted right through him.
Just need to defeat him to win so focus fire the best of what you got on him i suppose.
Just remembered that the Summopedia at one point was going to get a official English translation, that was back in 2019 and hasn't been word of it since 2019. Now there's 3 volumes out lol what a shame would love to have them in English officially.
So, on September 30th, after the scheduled maintenance, a website-based mystery solving game will be released. "Akasaka Agents Guild Admission Test" will have you answering riddles and progressing through the game, which supposed to mimic the test that in-game spy wannabes would have to face in order to get into the Agents guild.
As part of this webgame's release, a new 3* AR will also be available in Housamo.

There's a small Autumn campaign coming up. It will run between September 30 and October 11, and will feature a daily login bonus, a small special scenario, a half-stamina period for Free Quests, a couple of thematic banners, and more.
The login bonus will net you an extra stone a day, alongside a bunch of stamina items and rainbow shards. Logging in at any time during the campaign will also reward you with 3 Lamp Oil, which you can use to refresh Dungeon Points.
The two banners are full-furry banners themed around the Hakkenshi and the Ueno guild, respectively. Presumably, these banners exist because Kemoket is coming soon.
Anyway, the first banner features Valentine Shino and Valentine Moritaka as its 5*, with Valentine Tadatomo and the permanent 4* cards of the other Hakkenshi to complete the banner.
The Ueno guild gacha, on the other hand, features Leib and Halloween Alp as the 5-stars, with Band Fenrir, Halloween Jambavan and Halloween Cu Sith as the 4-stars.
To round up the announcements, the Golden Cave limited dungeon will be open again for the duration of the campaign, and Andvari's Shop will have some new products in it soon.

The event's banner and Special Quests (the latter have been released today) have been extended until October 7. Everything else (the event story, farming quests, and challenge quests) will finish on the 30th as planned.

You can use him as a substitute for Aizen, but as you noted, Tindalos' healing isn't as immediate as Aizen's. Still, with how his skills work, Tinda's allies won't need that much healing in the first place.

Am I just not doing it right? I feel everyone gets fricking raped in fights even when I have Tindalos out and moving, like he doesn't really seem to be targeted via taunt in favor of others, everyone is taking damage on my team?
In short, they're polar opposites. They're both beings that live in the web, but Enigma is an AI that was made to create things for others, while Tindalos is a Twitch streamer who likes to frick shit up, basically. This was explored a bit in the latest event, where the story shows that the two of them tend to bicker a lot.

I don't think I've seen a gameplay tier list of the characters but I found this years ago and the author of this goes over characters kits and also older characters when they get skill evolutions. However you'll have to remember or know when a character was released because its sorted by months.

Agreed, and I feel like this isn't exclusive to just unit ranking either. Info on the game in general is just strewn all over the place.

the general consensus is that it's almost never worth pulling purely for gameplay because the quest mechanics that favor certain units are always changing. plus, the game is more about team building rather individual unit power level. units like enigma are considered bad not because they have low impact, but because they have too many team building restrictions to be worth your time.
90% of the time you should think less about how good a unit is, and more about which units would be good with them. at the moment, the best units are the ones that are both reliable and flexible in team building, like halloween toji or christmas nomad
We have a bit more information on Lifewonders' new merchandise for Kemoket. There're new acrylic standees, character pins, posters, the Zabanyya/Israfil statues, etc. Aside from most of this stuff, Summopedia's fourth volume is officially on the way. This 96-page book will contain lore and concept art for characters that debuted in chapter 8 of the main story, as well as the Valentine Panic and Set Sail events.
Small summary:
Apparently they're called Event Drivers, like an entertainer style hypeman to draw people into attending. The little event is based around the Ueno Jujin Festival. The jaguar transient was going to play soccer in the park but the festival was being held there instead, but by chance he sees the protag coming out of the train station and decides to follow him because he thinks he recognizes him. The other mob uses drone piloting, likely to film the event from the air through drone photography. Salomon gets excited and wants to take his own photos so he challenges protag to see who can get better photos, so he leaves and then protag meets up with Alp and Cu Sith. Apparently the guild master of Ueno is named Ichijujin and the festival is to show off his Beast Masters' accomplishments at the university. Then after being live streamed for a few seconds they meet Fenrir, who was looking for them to take them to Leib. Jambavan fell asleep so there's no one running their exhibition booth, so Leib is willing to pay protag, Alp and Cu Sith part-time to run the booth. Jaguar shows up and A&C think it's because they're too cute but Jaguar brushes them off (kek). Jaguar then wants to know what kind of booth this is, and while A&C are caught off guard, you show off the cooking slime ver x. Leib developed that can recreate food from photos. After a crowd gathers and eats the food from the the demo, you swap introductions. It turns out Jaguar is the El Dorado transient Ixbalanque (one of the Maya Hero Twins in irl lore). Alp wants to copy his coolness but Ix drops a banger line about how "copying someone's whole won't be your true strength". Then they swap a few words about "just b urself" until Ix leaves with a wave because he doesn't want to hog the booth.
This epilogue screen has the purple wolf and blue shark asking if you liked the story so far and look forward to part 2 soon.
Hopefully this is the next event I'm digging Ix's design a whole lot.
Can I get a recommended app that auto translates text like this? I tried one ages ago but I would have to constantly tap on it to translate a section, meaning I had to constantly TELL it to translate. I just want to highlight a section of my screen and it keeps auto translating that section so i could read the new stories
I personally just got "Bubble Screen Translator" it works for me super well on a pretty out of date phone. unfortunately Japanese translation requires you to have the + version of the app.so after the 29 hour free trial you will either just need to hard buy the app for 50 bucks or use some monthly or year sub on it.
From what i have used of it seems absolutely just worth getting the one time purchase if the free trial works well enough for you since i do really want to read more of Housamo and Live A Hero in app since it works for me.
Part 2 Summary:
Ix wonders about why you were talking to yourself as he walks away and thinks for a moment he saw Queztlcoatl, the legendary dragon as a mere lizard within you. Salomon questions who you were talking to and Leib overhears you talking to yourself about it. He mentions how there used to be a student who was an expert at dragons who left that you could have talked to about it (foreshadowing?) then hands you fliers to help recruit new people. After you're finished Leib pays you and lets you enjoy the festival with Alp and Cu Sith. You check out the event map and decide to choose based on what the livestreamers recommend. You watch the one with the blue shark, and he recites a trending attraction of "Kick Crack Shot" that combines soccer and shooting to aim at targets for a high score. Alp gets excited and you decide to join him in the fun by participating together. At the event site Ixbalanque is looking for the registration desk and promises to make a picture worthy spectacle. You arrive shortly after, but the giraffe tells you registration is closed due to being too full. You decide to just watch from the stands instead and hear arguing. Apparently the Event Drivers and Drone Pilots are arguing about how to best capture the event (capturing the scene from above to get everything vs on the ground to capture audience's reactions). With everyone riled up, barely anyone pays attention to the field until the panda announcer screams at the talented challenger and everyone turns to look. It's Ixbalanque! And he's tearing up the course so effortlessly everyone hurries to begin filming him. Ix breaks the 4th wall by talking to "the person on the other side of the screen" to "watch my great performance until the end". He racks up points until the last shot, when a leaflet blows over his face and causes his kick to land into the audience, right in front of protag. Protag drills the center of the target for Ixbalanque as the crowd goes wild. /1
After the game, Ixbalanque meets up with you and says how impressed he was and wants to see more of your skill. He admits he went early on the stage to calm down the fighting going on in the crowd because he noticed you about to step in to the fight. He asks why you came here, and you explain how you wanted to become friends with him. He blushes and asks how you can say something like that and not be a joke, before smiling and saying he'll meet your expectations. He mentions how you remind him of his brother, before stopping. Cu Sith asks why and Ixbalanque says he has no bad blood with his brother, only that he is still stuck in El Dorado while he came here to Tokyo and it's similar to Tezcatlipoca and Quetzalcoatl. He then has an epiphany that he wants that kind of relationship with you. He gets embarrassed when you find it cute how much he dotes on his older brother, and as he tells a story about how he used to build traps to hunt Leib and the others come back. Jambavan thanks you for keeping the shop open while he was asleep, and Leib says it's time for Alp and Cu Sith to go for the day. Cu Sith wants to introduce Ixbalanque to the rest of his guild members, and while a bit unwilling he says he'll go if protag comes along. Time passes and after the cutscene protag and Ixbalanque walk to Ueno station together. He sees you off and you can shake his hand/hug him/grope his fur. He shakes you off chastising you for treating a junior this way and then says he has a feeling he'll be seeing you again soon in the future. There's a line about how no matter if 2 souls are separated, one day they will meet again, because this is what the world of Tokyo is like. Then Lil Salomon shows up and sends you a picture he took as the credits roll to end the mini event.
Overall pretty fun expose, I was wondering if we'd see Ixbalanque's alt art in the story but I guess they don't want to give everything away just yet.

In the prior dialogue he had been giving Cu Sith sass regarding how much of a handful he was and how he basically had no choice to but to go with protag to meet strangers. So I guess it wasn't really as malicious as you might think it comes off as, more just teasing to annoy him to respect the invitation of company. Although you could see it that way too if you really wanted to.
Honestly the one thing I was really interested in about his character was the analogy of how his mood changed when he brings his older brother up. The dialogue says "his tail stood completely still and the grin there just moments ago vanishes", and when he smiles again seconds after to cover his mood shift the game compares it to a "mask to hide his true emotions, a smile devoid of happiness."
Dude is a SERIOUS brocon, which is why he refers to protag as Senpai in-game. He really needs that older brother role model figure in his life to look up to. I'm curious if he'll actually be in one of the guilds or if he's unaffiliated and becomes a Summoner. He does seem to take a strong liking to you, and he doesn't mention having any guildmates or people he wants to introduce to you next time.

As part of the latest update, the last two 5* ARs in Andvari's Shop (Arc/Babalon and the reprinted Cu Sith/Leib) are no longer available. In their place, a new AR was added to the store.
"A Peaceful Day" is a 5* card that features Licht and Melusine. It can be equipped by Tycoons guild members, 1* and 2* units, as well as Fire ad Water units.
In terms of what it does, it boosts your Coin and Rank XP intake.
This release also comes with a surprise announcement: the maximum rank level is going to be increased from Lvl.120 to Lvl.130 as some point during the autumn campaign,

I remember best I could do with advari or whatever and a friend advari for the coin boosts on the highest level coin daily would get me like 230k coins. make sure you're applying the two ar cards you can buy with crystals from the shop that up your gold count (one just came out this patch, posted about earlier in the thread and the other has an icon of an angry guy getting his cheek pulled) and put the dwarf guy card on your team if you have him (the light element summer variant has the strongest gold buff) and then try to get him or the lucky cats as support. I've only been playing this game for a couple months but I can't imagine a more worthy time to dump your lamp oils into dungeons.
also I feel like dumping all my stamina (along with a few drinks) into the weekend gold dailies nets me a couple million every week, nothing to sneeze at.

But to answer your question I have a few family members who like anything Bigfoot related like the show Finding Bigfoot for example and one member in particular had made that a major part of his personality. he is. in fact, barring vapula, none of the banner units were bad. they're just additional options for already existing achetypes, which doesnt inherently make them worse. just not as needed if you already have those bases covered. (babe bunyan being an exception here, since having high damage, utility, and access to a boardwide nuke gives him insane amounts of versatility)
i do find it weird that they would release a banner that is mostly filled with column clearers when the chapter 13 free quests are wide/large maps. hopefully this means 6x3 farming maps will return next chapter

It's probably more about him and the newer guys being outclassed than anything. So if you don't have a lot options then they might be enough to get you by, even if there's other units that are more straightforward.

With the topic of Babe Bunyan it made me wonder do we even know anyone's canonical age in this game? Like their are things characters say that make me unsure. If I remember correctly I think at one point Tvastar says he's been a father for years despite being a student or something like that. Marduk says he's a first year I'm guessing High School if so then he'd be around 15-16? Also Wakan Tanka goes to Yoyogi Academy and I assumed it was like a college but I think in the Fashionista Event he says Yoyogi High instead so I guess his age would be 15 to 18 if that's the case.
A transient's grade in school doesn't necessarily reflect their actual age. That's the case for some, like Oniwaka, who says he isn't even 20. But then there's Hanuman, who's implied to be hundreds of years old despite being in middle school.
I was always under the assumption since early 2017 that transients were always assigned to class levels based on how (un)cultured they are to Tokyo rather than how they're presented.

I think it’s stated that Wakan is a third year/senior at Yogogi. But I think what year/grade a character is in doesn’t necessarily reflect their actual age. But if you’re like me I’m going to assume he’s at least 18 since he’s a senior.

Surprised we're getting a third brand new event so soon after the 2 summer ones but the roster here looks pretty mediocore ngl. All I'll want is the Sphinx so I think I'll just skip this one and save for anniversary after going so hard for Summer Tin.
They literally cannot do a thing because in-app purchases are shut down at the moment in JP Apple store since the prices were set to increase but have not yet. Therefore you currently cannot buy stones in the game so LW is waiting for Apple to finish their maintenance first.

Man I wish I could get to actual fun characters but this game's story bores me so fricking bad I could never make it past like chapter 3, just gave up fully and skipped all cutscenes after that till current chapter to at least get the stones.
Could read summaries for like chapter 1 to 5 and then start reading from 6. That's about the point the story normally hooks most people. The first few chapters + special quests really do suffer from far lower quality of writing than everything after. I assume mostly because they weren't quite sure what they were going for at the time writing/tone/goal wise with this game.

I don't believe so. You could compare the release times of the banners for each event and chapter I suppose but that would take a good bit of effort.
All of the events in past events tab of the home menu are sorted by oldest to newest so between each chapter you could read a handful of events fairly safely with characters as focuses in the events either not being a major part of the main plot or being characters you do know already.
Or even reading like 2 episodes of main story and 4 episodes of an event a day was a good flow back when I was playing through everything.

Although this game isn't too hard a vast majority of the time outside of the higher end stuff so you can really just use who you want and i'd recommend just investing in your favorites regardless. Really makes the experience more fun.

Hallowalp is actually crazy fricking good though. If you keep him in the backrow and let him avoid taking damage, his stacking passives allow him to basically whip out his wiener and frick the whole enemy team over with huge Crit damage from his buff as well as applying Fear to prevent them from attacking. Even if he takes damage those buffs and debuffs can still proc though at lower odds so he is pretty damn handy to have

I think the hard part is the "not taking damage", stuff like magic damage can easily reach him and he doesn't have snipe range so if I toss him way too far back he barely can hit anyone from there >allow him to basically whip out his wiener

Event Prologue:
Story opens with a tale about transients who can only go out at night due to their Rule (like Ellie), so they created a special school just for them in "The City That Never Sleeps", Kabukicho, although they take in anyone as a student. The Night Festival event they have planned is to help the students deepen their bonds with one another. Ellie is feared and kept at a distance by most people in the school, and Suzuka thinks the vampire theming is kinda offensive, but Ellie chose vampires because they are the first nocturnal race everyone thinks of, so it would be popular. If everyone dresses as a vampire, it would make Ellie feel more welcomed among her peers, so she could be a "true Queen". They are both excited to see how the costumes are going for the festival, and leave to see.
Cuts to Kresnik and Sandayu. Kresnik approves the festival prep with the students, who want no classes, but Kresnik replies that "it's a student's job to learn", and he and the student laugh. Sandayu notes how well Kresnik bonds with students enough to get a nickname ("Kurupi") and he asks the students for one too. They just call him Sandayu instead of Sensei and he is shocked over it. Kresnik ponders over how Sandayu seems like a big joker but is actually really talented at being a shinobi and can connect with people in his own way as a teacher. The prologue ends with Sandayu and Kresnik saying the night is over and to hurry home before the sun comes up, the festival will soon be ready by the time night falls again.
Second half of prologue starts with Kresnik and Sandayu in the teacher's lounge grading papers together while talking about a supposed "school system" Sandayu questions the purpose of. Kresnik knows it is taboo to talk about it so he slides him a note in his red homework correction pen and they spend the night together. /1

Just then, armed bodyguards break into the classroom and announce that the exchange student is coming. As they set up the fog machines and shut the lights to sing, the exchange student is revealed to be Tsukuyomi!

The game brings up the city that never sleeps and all of the transients attracted to it, and how one more will soon join them after crossing the Rainbow Bridge. Sphinx Route:
He wakes up in the park near Kabukicho and looks around at his unfamiliar surroundings through the lens of his perspective: Skyscrapers are obelisks, the lake is an oasis, he can't see the pyramids he's been so used to seeing. He has no memory of how he came here, only that he used to watch over the dawn of the world he came from, so without the sun he cannot tell what time it is. Suddenly, he hears a loud bestial growl from nearby bushes and bolts in fear, knowing he can't win a fight with a body like his unless it's a battle of wits. He catches his breath and finds himself at Kabukicho High, entering as rain begins to fall. He looks around and thinks it is a religious temple due to the classrooms in session sounding like recital chants, and runs to hide himself in an empty room. He finds these "priests and their chants annoying" and has the naughty idea to shut them up with his mischievous powers as he sneers. He uses his quill pin to activate his Rule to manipulate the space around him, declaring this is his playground now and he'll play a game with everyone here. He puts his mask on and declares this is his sanctuary and it will bend to his will, but finds his ability will not activate. Frustrated, he decides to try somewhere else, as the game mentions how in his old world he could have done so no problem, but here in Tokyo, he needs to meet requirements to use his "Authority". The game reveals how when Sphinx came to this world the Terminal for the App was placed inside his mask, and without it he is powerless. As he is about to leave, Suzuka comes in, talking about how cool the Queen of Kabukicho is. Sphinx wonders aloud if there is a Pharaoh in this world as well, and Suzuka overhears him, demanding whoever is there to show themselves. Sphinx panics as the scene ends stating how the uproar on the day before the event known as "Fest" now begins.

I mean yeah you could do that but remember when you use authkey to play on a new "device" the system will create a new authkey and bind it to that device. So if you ever want to stop using bluestacks you'll have to save the new authkey to keep your progress. Other than that it should work fine? I've never heard of anyone getting their account banned for using bluestacks or anything.
You can transfer it just fine but yes only one device can be logged into your account at a time to prevent glitches and bugs (not that I really think any have ever been found)
Bulgewolf is pretty good. I assume you have his standard version (Water) and not his Nightglows version (Fire). At Limit Break 3 (level cap 65) he gets his CP bar charged by 40% per turn to help pop up CS damage, and he has a skill that allows him to place Remove Debuff on himself every time you move him so he can be immune to practically any debuff status that might hamper him from attacking. He also has a couple of attack buffs on him to keep his numbers relatively strong. Overall, he's not weak at all for a 4 star that's only 3 years old gamewise. Just don't expect him to carry your whole team obviously.
He looked more like a wolf in his old art t.bh and I say this as a huge Breke fan even before he got his Nightglows spotlight for character development.
Although the old art just looked so unfinished compared to the new one I truly wonder if it was a placeholder.

Those are Date Quests and yeah, they do the first time you clear them.
They're all untranslated but they have different dialogue depending on the characters you pair up, if you care about that sort of thing. The wiki should have more info on that.
I am pretty sure you unlock these quests even if you don't set it to the protag
So like if you pair Shino and Kengo you unlock both of theirs (I don't remember it 100%)

Forget-Me-Nots undo the relationship change. All you need to make a character fall in love with another is limit breaking them 3 times and picking the option on the second tab of their status screen.

No problem. You can still do the quest with any character, you'll just play through a version where they don't really comment on the pairing depending on which one it is.

Those are mostly so you can learn more about certain characters and spend time some with them. They do give out stones and some LB items after you clear them, though.

Sandayu and Kresnik are both good, Sandayu is the best unit off the banner no question, but Kresnik is also punishing in his own right
Personally I wanted Kresnik for the mini Sphinx and his Egyptian graffiti but I didn't get either 5 star this time around.
I remember people talking about how some 4* aren't that big of an upgrade compared to the 3* so it would be better to use the 3* to save on the team cost but not who they were talking about
Agyo is actually better as a 3*
Both of his cards have the same skills, but his 3 is a magic card while his 4 is a shot card, so you just lose two tiles of attack range for some minor stat increases.
Date Quests require you to have a limit break 3 of that character so if it's someone I don't like it's much cheaper to level that than to level their 4 or 5 star version

I think your problem is just how invested you got in the gameplay loop, I've been playing the game since launch and only come back once in a while when something interests me (a particular banner, new story or event translation, etc) and I've never been burned out even though it's pretty much been the same thing since launch and the content has always been barren, because to me it always felt like a casual game who's true value is the story (and fanart it generates).
Also 400$ is too much money spent on any gacha game, let alone Housamo.

The sixth, and supposedly final, episode of the Summer Pool Twilight event was released today. Completing it unlocks a new Challenge Quest.
While this quest is harder than the first two, it's still relatively easy when compared with other CQs.
The only annoying thing in the first phase is the enemy Gorozaemon's Fear on appearance, which you should try to clear as soon as possible.
The second phase pits you against a 3x3 boss Jorm. Aside from being immune to most debuffs, he has a lot of health, and regains most of it (if not all of it) at the start every new turn. On the fifth turn, he unleashes a flat-damage CS that is nearly guaranteed to wipe your team.
Since he's a 3x3 boss, however, you should be able to take him down before he reaches that point.
Time to start the event.

Unironically since I care about the story beyond husbando fanservice I enjoy having some women here and there since it's more realistic. Shizuka is also just a great character and one more reason the outlaws are the coolest guild.
I stopped paying attention when every single character went full on "I've always loved you and always will" when you just met like five minutes ago in line at a Taco Bell that just had a terrorist attack over a phone game.
The reason for why your character has harem protagonist power on crack is pretty well explained so I don't mind it too much. The game's also pretty tongue-in-cheek with it considering you have characters like Aizen and Shiva calling you a prostitute every chance they get.

I haven't played since shortly after the AR system was introduced. How absolutely, fricked will I be if I attempt to start again? Is shit getting translated at least? How many Lil' Sal plushies do I need to buy to be competitive?
Older events, kits, and the main story have been getting translated on a regular basis. There's still a ~2 year delay between an event coming out and it receiving a full translation + rerun, but that's been the case since translations have been a thing.
In terms of gameplay, older units are still usable, although it might take you some time to catch up with the main story, go through stuff like pas events and dungeon quests, levelling up your units, etc.

He's not just a damage sponge, but he's not that useful compared to other cards.
The idea is that he basically sits in the frontline, tanks hits with Tenacity, debuffs enemies with Charm when hit, all while filling his and his allies' Charge Points.
He does a little bit of everything, with some tanking, some healing, some CS charging... the issue is that he doesn't do any of these things particularly well.
His skill evolution makes him slightly better, giving him the ability to buff allies behind him with Evasion and a new unique buff to synergise with that skill, Taunt Strengthening. Basically, the buff improves his proc rates by 60% when he has Taunt (that's a 100% guaranteed Charm and a 70% chance to apply Evasion). Unfortunately, Taunt Strengthening is removed after being hit once, although he gets it back at the start of every turn.

Amatsumara's Character Quest was released today. You can find it in the Ota Ward.
In order to access it, you need to have at least one copy of any Amatsumara card (3*, 4* or limited 4*). It also needs to be at least at LB1. Also, like all other Character Quests, it's not translated.
IIRC that "untranslated content" message was added to the game when chapter 12's translation came out. Said translation was released in two parts.

I'm new to this game, just downloaded it when i saw the trailer for amatsumaras limited 4*. are the character quests time limited in any way? I'm playing thru in japanese for reading practice so I'm going through the story slow as shit, and I've never played a gatcha before so I'm unfamiliar with a lot of mechanics, I don't wanna miss out on a time gated event.
i got his 3 and standard 4* but I'm probably gonna be too late for the limited one. maybe i can save up enough gems for one or two more 10 pulls. there's no tricks to increasing your odds with banner characters is there? i only got the fricking swimsuit girl so far
Character Quests well always be available. Like
mentions you need one copy of the character, perform one limit break, and if I remember correctly for some characters you need to see certain events. All limited events are in the Event quests tab on the map and everything related to the event will be removed in about 10 days from now including the special quests which those should be translated in the next few days. For summoning if you spend 5 stones or 1 ticket the odds are 80% you'll get 3 star character, 18% 4 star and 2% 5 star however when you do a multi summon with 50 stones the 10th character will be a guaranteed 4 or 5 star character. The rates will be 96% and 4% respectively of course this does not mean the 4 or 5 star character will be one that's shown on the banner. Honestly if you really want Summer Amatsumara you can buy stones and summon until you get him but the other option is to reroll which means to delete your account start over play until you can summon a few times rinse and repeat until you get him.

LW has switched voice actors for characters in the past (Barguest, Horkeu Kamui, etc.), but that was just for VAs who retired, not dead ones. That, and Gamma's status, makes an Ahab variant extremely unlikely.
I don't think the problem is the VA, it's been way enough time that it wouldn't be disrespectful to give Ahab a new one, it's entirely due to the fact he's a gamma character.
Jormungandr's introduction might be an indication that they won't change the VA since both him and Ahab have the same voice. Being a gamma fan is just torture...

I am pretty sure that they take place during past loops, there is a part in chapter 10 that MC remembers the event chars when Jacob was using his SA to restore memories
Nah, some events exist in this loop. The one with Agyo, for example, as Agyo is considered part of the Summoners in the main story.
Most of the early events are in this weird spot where they get optionally referenced in the main story since I don't think they had quite settled into the repeating loop storyline at that point.
Although after the Tycoon chapter it's pretty explicit all the events are in past loops, and if things connect them (like Agyo being a Summoner) it's because a similar thing to the actual event we played took place in that loop.
The first mountain event is a prequel for the tycoon storyline.

Sometimes they give breaks by opening the dungeon for awhile.
Generally speaking, Housamo (and gacha games in general) try not to have big breaks between one campaign and the other in order to retain player interest.
Having said that, there are periods of "drought" during the year, where there aren't any events or long-running campaigns.
For Housamo, generally speaking, the post-Valentine period (March-June) tends to be pretty barren. Aside from new Main Quest scenarios and the odd rerun, there's a bunch of weeks where nothing happens. October and November can also be "empty" months, but there's a chance tht LW releases a Halloween event or something else in that timeframe.
Managing resources is probably one of the more frustrating things to do in the early game, but it does get better after a while.
New Years' events also have a system that lets you complete farming quests to gather tokens called Offerings, which can be used to pull on a resource gacha. Even without farming a lot, the Offering gacha lets you stockpile years' worth of resources in a short amount of time.

This IS the significant pause between events. Reprint events like the one going on right now are your second chances to get the characters you didn't pull and get a small helping of event rewards to stockpile for the brand new characters that are going to be released afterwards.
I was in your same position 3 years ago when I joined during a repeat event wondering how the frick I was supposed to save anything, it felt like all the events were rapid-fire and non-stop. Oh trust me buddy, there *will* be trash events and banners. If you're f2p you'll learn very quickly you can't roll 10 on every banner more than once, it's just not possible unless there's a login event with generous stone rewards.
I hope you at least know what to get from event shops. The seeds are always a priority for stat boosting, followed by tokens, crystals, and medallions.

Is it just me or is S.Tindalos kinda weak? Especially compared to his normal 5* version, i get they are going for different gameplay styles/gimmicks, but still.
If i got shit right his gimmick seems to be that he applies status effects and then the damage is from the status effects (more= more damage with each effect adding flat damage), kinda feels like he should been 4* if not for character popularity, though im probably just having confirmation bias about what should be average 5* capability from luckgayging some powerful units.

Yeah, but it was pretty noticeable when using them for the Grinding bonus compared to how using bonus units usually goes (Especially since event quests tend to be tailor made to make the event 5* characters good picks), like you say they are usable because the game ain't really that competitive, but so are 3* characters (who give fanservice by default due using the talking sprites, thus always gets a ton of costumes, except Garmr).

But ever since this year started I've been getting fricked over and over. There's a small Autumn campaign coming up. It will run between September 30 and October 11, and will feature a daily login bonus, a small special scenario, a half-stamina period for Free Quests, a couple of thematic banners, and more.
The login bonus will net you an extra stone a day, alongside a bunch of stamina items and rainbow shards. Logging in at any time during the campaign will also reward you with 3 Lamp Oil, which you can use to refresh Dungeon Points.
The two banners are full-furry banners themed around the Hakkenshi and the Ueno guild, respectively. Presumably, these banners exist because Kemoket is coming soon.
Anyway, the first banner features Valentine Shino and Valentine Moritaka as its 5*, with Valentine Tadatomo and the permanent 4* cards of the other Hakkenshi to complete the banner.
The Ueno guild gacha, on the other hand, features Leib and Halloween Alp as the 5-stars, with Band Fenrir, Halloween Jambavan and Halloween Cu Sith as the 4-stars.
To round up the announcements, the Golden Cave limited dungeon will be open again for the duration of the campaign, and Andvari's Shop will have some new products in it soon.

The event's banner and Special Quests (the latter have been released today) have been extended until October 7. Everything else (the event story, farming quests, and challenge quests) will finish on the 30th as planned.
That's Yoshito, he was released in April during the New Semester campaign.
You can use him as a substitute for Aizen, but as you noted, Tindalos' healing isn't as immediate as Aizen's. Still, with how his skills work, Tinda's allies won't need that much healing in the first place.

In short, they're polar opposites. They're both beings that live in the web, but Enigma is an AI that was made to create things for others, while Tindalos is a Twitch streamer who likes to frick shit up, basically. This was explored a bit in the latest event, where the story shows that the two of them tend to bicker a lot.

I don't think I've seen a gameplay tier list of the characters but I found this years ago and the author of this goes over characters kits and also older characters when they get skill evolutions. However you'll have to remember or know when a character was released because its sorted by months.
Yeah I actually do see this guy's reviews sometimes for reference but this guy's overall reviews are either "Okay so this 5* is good but not really worth going for if you just want strong cards" or "Okay this card is strong because x y and z (doesn't actually ever mention if it's worth pulling for just the card strength, just says it's good)" It's overall vague to know what the best character(s) are when grouped en masse pitted against each other for gameplay purposes. Like who is the strongest overall DPS unit, the best tank, healer, etc. Most (all?) phone games have all this figured out and listed on wikis or elsewhere, housamo is like a mystery to rank them since no one seems to do it

the general consensus is that it's almost never worth pulling purely for gameplay because the quest mechanics that favor certain units are always changing. plus, the game is more about team building rather individual unit power level. units like enigma are considered bad not because they have low impact, but because they have too many team building restrictions to be worth your time.
90% of the time you should think less about how good a unit is, and more about which units would be good with them. at the moment, the best units are the ones that are both reliable and flexible in team building, like halloween toji or christmas nomad

Small summary:
Apparently they're called Event Drivers, like an entertainer style hypeman to draw people into attending. The little event is based around the Ueno Jujin Festival. The jaguar transient was going to play soccer in the park but the festival was being held there instead, but by chance he sees the protag coming out of the train station and decides to follow him because he thinks he recognizes him. The other mob uses drone piloting, likely to film the event from the air through drone photography. Salomon gets excited and wants to take his own photos so he challenges protag to see who can get better photos, so he leaves and then protag meets up with Alp and Cu Sith. Apparently the guild master of Ueno is named Ichijujin and the festival is to show off his Beast Masters' accomplishments at the university. Then after being live streamed for a few seconds they meet Fenrir, who was looking for them to take them to Leib. Jambavan fell asleep so there's no one running their exhibition booth, so Leib is willing to pay protag, Alp and Cu Sith part-time to run the booth. Jaguar shows up and A&C think it's because they're too cute but Jaguar brushes them off (kek). Jaguar then wants to know what kind of booth this is, and while A&C are caught off guard, you show off the cooking slime ver x. Leib developed that can recreate food from photos. After a crowd gathers and eats the food from the the demo, you swap introductions. It turns out Jaguar is the El Dorado transient Ixbalanque (one of the Maya Hero Twins in irl lore). Alp wants to copy his coolness but Ix drops a banger line about how "copying someone's whole won't be your true strength". Then they swap a few words about "just b urself" until Ix leaves with a wave because he doesn't want to hog the booth.
This epilogue screen has the purple wolf and blue shark asking if you liked the story so far and look forward to part 2 soon.
Hopefully this is the next event I'm digging Ix's design a whole lot.
Can I get a recommended app that auto translates text like this? I tried one ages ago but I would have to constantly tap on it to translate a section, meaning I had to constantly TELL it to translate. I just want to highlight a section of my screen and it keeps auto translating that section so i could read the new stories
I personally just got "Bubble Screen Translator" it works for me super well on a pretty out of date phone. unfortunately Japanese translation requires you to have the + version of the app.so after the 29 hour free trial you will either just need to hard buy the app for 50 bucks or use some monthly or year sub on it.
From what i have used of it seems absolutely just worth getting the one time purchase if the free trial works well enough for you since i do really want to read more of Housamo and Live A Hero in app since it works for me.

Part 2 Summary:
Ix wonders about why you were talking to yourself as he walks away and thinks for a moment he saw Queztlcoatl, the legendary dragon as a mere lizard within you. Salomon questions who you were talking to and Leib overhears you talking to yourself about it. He mentions how there used to be a student who was an expert at dragons who left that you could have talked to about it (foreshadowing?) then hands you fliers to help recruit new people. After you're finished Leib pays you and lets you enjoy the festival with Alp and Cu Sith. You check out the event map and decide to choose based on what the livestreamers recommend. You watch the one with the blue shark, and he recites a trending attraction of "Kick Crack Shot" that combines soccer and shooting to aim at targets for a high score. Alp gets excited and you decide to join him in the fun by participating together. At the event site Ixbalanque is looking for the registration desk and promises to make a picture worthy spectacle. You arrive shortly after, but the giraffe tells you registration is closed due to being too full. You decide to just watch from the stands instead and hear arguing. Apparently the Event Drivers and Drone Pilots are arguing about how to best capture the event (capturing the scene from above to get everything vs on the ground to capture audience's reactions). With everyone riled up, barely anyone pays attention to the field until the panda announcer screams at the talented challenger and everyone turns to look. It's Ixbalanque! And he's tearing up the course so effortlessly everyone hurries to begin filming him. Ix breaks the 4th wall by talking to "the person on the other side of the screen" to "watch my great performance until the end". He racks up points until the last shot, when a leaflet blows over his face and causes his kick to land into the audience, right in front of protag. Protag drills the center of the target for Ixbalanque as the crowd goes wild. /1

Hope this means we'll finally get to talk to the Exiles sometime soon.
After the game, Ixbalanque meets up with you and says how impressed he was and wants to see more of your skill. He admits he went early on the stage to calm down the fighting going on in the crowd because he noticed you about to step in to the fight. He asks why you came here, and you explain how you wanted to become friends with him. He blushes and asks how you can say something like that and not be a joke, before smiling and saying he'll meet your expectations. He mentions how you remind him of his brother, before stopping. Cu Sith asks why and Ixbalanque says he has no bad blood with his brother, only that he is still stuck in El Dorado while he came here to Tokyo and it's similar to Tezcatlipoca and Quetzalcoatl. He then has an epiphany that he wants that kind of relationship with you. He gets embarrassed when you find it cute how much he dotes on his older brother, and as he tells a story about how he used to build traps to hunt Leib and the others come back. Jambavan thanks you for keeping the shop open while he was asleep, and Leib says it's time for Alp and Cu Sith to go for the day. Cu Sith wants to introduce Ixbalanque to the rest of his guild members, and while a bit unwilling he says he'll go if protag comes along. Time passes and after the cutscene protag and Ixbalanque walk to Ueno station together. He sees you off and you can shake his hand/hug him/grope his fur. He shakes you off chastising you for treating a junior this way and then says he has a feeling he'll be seeing you again soon in the future. There's a line about how no matter if 2 souls are separated, one day they will meet again, because this is what the world of Tokyo is like. Then Lil Salomon shows up and sends you a picture he took as the credits roll to end the mini event.
Overall pretty fun expose, I was wondering if we'd see Ixbalanque's alt art in the story but I guess they don't want to give everything away just yet.

He is one of those rare ones who actually fought back in those "grope" options other than just grumbling about it huh.
Yeah the exact conversation goes something like:
Ixbalanque is shocked as he pushes you away from him.
"How stupid can you be? We've only met on the first day and you're already doing something like this?! What's that? You're teaching a lesson to a cheeky junior? Well, I suppose it is fair."
In the prior dialogue he had been giving Cu Sith sass regarding how much of a handful he was and how he basically had no choice to but to go with protag to meet strangers. So I guess it wasn't really as malicious as you might think it comes off as, more just teasing to annoy him to respect the invitation of company. Although you could see it that way too if you really wanted to.
Honestly the one thing I was really interested in about his character was the analogy of how his mood changed when he brings his older brother up. The dialogue says "his tail stood completely still and the grin there just moments ago vanishes", and when he smiles again seconds after to cover his mood shift the game compares it to a "mask to hide his true emotions, a smile devoid of happiness."
Dude is a SERIOUS brocon, which is why he refers to protag as Senpai in-game. He really needs that older brother role model figure in his life to look up to. I'm curious if he'll actually be in one of the guilds or if he's unaffiliated and becomes a Summoner. He does seem to take a strong liking to you, and he doesn't mention having any guildmates or people he wants to introduce to you next time.

As part of the latest update, the last two 5* ARs in Andvari's Shop (Arc/Babalon and the reprinted Cu Sith/Leib) are no longer available. In their place, a new AR was added to the store.
"A Peaceful Day" is a 5* card that features Licht and Melusine. It can be equipped by Tycoons guild members, 1* and 2* units, as well as Fire ad Water units.
In terms of what it does, it boosts your Coin and Rank XP intake.

make sure you're applying the two ar cards you can buy with crystals from the shop that up your gold count (one just came out this patch, posted about earlier in the thread and the other has an icon of an angry guy getting his cheek pulled) and put the dwarf guy card on your team if you have him (the light element summer variant has the strongest gold buff) and then try to get him or the lucky cats as support. I've only been playing this game for a couple months but I can't imagine a more worthy time to dump your lamp oils into dungeons.
also I feel like dumping all my stamina (along with a few drinks) into the weekend gold dailies nets me a couple million every week, nothing to sneeze at.

If I remember correctly I think at one point Tvastar says he's been a father for years despite being a student or something like that. Man I wish I could get to actual fun characters but this game's story bores me so fricking bad I could never make it past like chapter 3, just gave up fully and skipped all cutscenes after that till current chapter to at least get the stones.
Could read summaries for like chapter 1 to 5 and then start reading from 6. That's about the point the story normally hooks most people. The first few chapters + special quests really do suffer from far lower quality of writing than everything after. I assume mostly because they weren't quite sure what they were going for at the time writing/tone/goal wise with this game.

I don't believe so. You could compare the release times of the banners for each event and chapter I suppose but that would take a good bit of effort.
All of the events in past events tab of the home menu are sorted by oldest to newest so between each chapter you could read a handful of events fairly safely with characters as focuses in the events either not being a major part of the main plot or being characters you do know already.
Or even reading like 2 episodes of main story and 4 episodes of an event a day was a good flow back when I was playing through everything.

Hallowalp is actually crazy fricking good though. If you keep him in the backrow and let him avoid taking damage, his stacking passives allow him to basically whip out his wiener and frick the whole enemy team over with huge Crit damage from his buff as well as applying Fear to prevent them from attacking. Even if he takes damage those buffs and debuffs can still proc though at lower odds so he is pretty damn handy to have

that's the thing. he doesn't need to hit anyone to be useful. he's already multiplying your team's damage by 10x. without moving. in a stupidly good range. turn 4 halloween alp is like aoe leanan on crack. he's also way harder to kill with evasion and guts. sleeper op unit but no one talks about it because limited 5* curse

Event Prologue:
Story opens with a tale about transients who can only go out at night due to their Rule (like Ellie), so they created a special school just for them in "The City That Never Sleeps", Kabukicho, although they take in anyone as a student. The Night Festival event they have planned is to help the students deepen their bonds with one another. Ellie is feared and kept at a distance by most people in the school, and Suzuka thinks the vampire theming is kinda offensive, but Ellie chose vampires because they are the first nocturnal race everyone thinks of, so it would be popular. If everyone dresses as a vampire, it would make Ellie feel more welcomed among her peers, so she could be a "true Queen". They are both excited to see how the costumes are going for the festival, and leave to see.
Cuts to Kresnik and Sandayu. Kresnik approves the festival prep with the students, who want no classes, but Kresnik replies that "it's a student's job to learn", and he and the student laugh. Sandayu notes how well Kresnik bonds with students enough to get a nickname ("Kurupi") and he asks the students for one too. They just call him Sandayu instead of Sensei and he is shocked over it. Kresnik ponders over how Sandayu seems like a big joker but is actually really talented at being a shinobi and can connect with people in his own way as a teacher. The prologue ends with Sandayu and Kresnik saying the night is over and to hurry home before the sun comes up, the festival will soon be ready by the time night falls again.
Second half of prologue starts with Kresnik and Sandayu in the teacher's lounge grading papers together while talking about a supposed "school system" Sandayu questions the purpose of. Kresnik knows it is taboo to talk about it so he slides him a note in his red homework correction pen and they spend the night together. /1
Prologue Part 2:
Cut to protag. It turns out the "system" is a new exchange student program, and protag has been selected to participate! These exchange students are ambassadors to help foster better relations between schools, and you have been reassigned to Kabukicho. This is significant due to the large stigma behind the nocturnal Transients from the locals, but your friends assure it's just because their lifestyle is largely unknown and that they can come help you since it is nearby to Shinjuku. Shiro thinks to himself how people like Maria and Aizen are taking the opportunity of this exchange program to recruit new members for their guilds and wonders if others will do the same. Just then, armed bodyguards break into the classroom and announce that the exchange student is coming. As they set up the fog machines and shut the lights to sing, the exchange student is revealed to be Tsukuyomi!
Cut to one of the Pillars of Light near Kabuchiko's district. The game brings up the city that never sleeps and all of the transients attracted to it, and how one more will soon join them after crossing the Rainbow Bridge. As the light dissipates, Sphinx ("Evil Kid Transient") steps out and wonders where he is as the scene ends.

Sphinx Route:
He wakes up in the park near Kabukicho and looks around at his unfamiliar surroundings through the lens of his perspective: Skyscrapers are obelisks, the lake is an oasis, he can't see the pyramids he's been so used to seeing. He has no memory of how he came here, only that he used to watch over the dawn of the world he came from, so without the sun he cannot tell what time it is. Suddenly, he hears a loud bestial growl from nearby bushes and bolts in fear, knowing he can't win a fight with a body like his unless it's a battle of wits. He catches his breath and finds himself at Kabukicho High, entering as rain begins to fall. He looks around and thinks it is a religious temple due to the classrooms in session sounding like recital chants, and runs to hide himself in an empty room. He finds these "priests and their chants annoying" and has the naughty idea to shut them up with his mischievous powers as he sneers. He uses his quill pin to activate his Rule to manipulate the space around him, declaring this is his playground now and he'll play a game with everyone here. He puts his mask on and declares this is his sanctuary and it will bend to his will, but finds his ability will not activate. Frustrated, he decides to try somewhere else, as the game mentions how in his old world he could have done so no problem, but here in Tokyo, he needs to meet requirements to use his "Authority". The game reveals how when Sphinx came to this world the Terminal for the App was placed inside his mask, and without it he is powerless. As he is about to leave, Suzuka comes in, talking about how cool the Queen of Kabukicho is. Sphinx wonders aloud if there is a Pharaoh in this world as well, and Suzuka overhears him, demanding whoever is there to show themselves. Sphinx panics as the scene ends stating how the uproar on the day before the event known as "Fest" now begins.

I mean yeah you could do that but remember when you use authkey to play on a new "device" the system will create a new authkey and bind it to that device. So if you ever want to stop using bluestacks you'll have to save the new authkey to keep your progress. Other than that it should work fine? I've never heard of anyone getting their account banned for using bluestacks or anything.

You can transfer it just fine but yes only one device can be logged into your account at a time to prevent glitches and bugs (not that I really think any have ever been found)
Transfer codes work on emulators as well. They also no longer have a time limit on them after an update a couple months ago.

Bulgewolf is pretty good. I assume you have his standard version (Water) and not his Nightglows version (Fire). At Limit Break 3 (level cap 65) he gets his CP bar charged by 40% per turn to help pop up CS damage, and he has a skill that allows him to place Remove Debuff on himself every time you move him so he can be immune to practically any debuff status that might hamper him from attacking. He also has a couple of attack buffs on him to keep his numbers relatively strong. Overall, he's not weak at all for a 4 star that's only 3 years old gamewise. Just don't expect him to carry your whole team obviously.

Those are Date Quests and yeah, they do the first time you clear them.
They're all untranslated but they have different dialogue depending on the characters you pair up, if you care about that sort of thing. The wiki should have more info on that.

The quest itself is still the same so no, no extra stones for that. Only different dialogue, like I said.

Forget-Me-Nots undo the relationship change. All you need to make a character fall in love with another is limit breaking them 3 times and picking the option on the second tab of their status screen.
Yep. Any combination is fine for Date Quests but they don't all have unique dialogue.

No problem. You can still do the quest with any character, you'll just play through a version where they don't really comment on the pairing depending on which one it is.

Those are mostly so you can learn more about certain characters and spend time some with them. They do give out stones and some LB items after you clear them, though.

Yeah, I think they only require one LB but there might be exceptions. Some of them require you to clear an event as well, if they have it listed.

Sandayu and Kresnik are both good, Sandayu is the best unit off the banner no question, but Kresnik is also punishing in his own right
Personally I wanted Kresnik for the mini Sphinx and his Egyptian graffiti but I didn't get either 5 star this time around.

yes because the game refuses to give me the 4 stars or other alts of my husbandos and it's suffering.
I remember people talking about how some 4* aren't that big of an upgrade compared to the 3* so it would be better to use the 3* to save on the team cost but not who they were talking about
there are some like thunderbird who are similar in abilities but the stars determine his positioning
Agyo is actually better as a 3*
Both of his cards have the same skills, but his 3 is a magic card while his 4 is a shot card, so you just lose two tiles of attack range for some minor stat increases.
Mainly as a way to get rid of excess materials and I do that for characters I like even if I have their 4/5* versions.
Date Quests require you to have a limit break 3 of that character so if it's someone I don't like it's much cheaper to level that than to level their 4 or 5 star version
