Are there any house building games that are more in-depth than The Sims? I'm thinking of something like House Flipper except you can just build from the ground up. Something you could almost use to plan a real house.

How would you make it a game? At that point you can just use CAD.
Selling the house to make the most money. As you make more money, you can unlock better tools or hire better contractors and use higher-end products in later houses. I was also thinking the game could have a "trend" system where it comes up with random features or products that will give you a bonus if you use them in the house.
People don't design and build individual houses, they are mass produced with the cheapest labor and materials, from affordable houses up to mc mansions. The only real difference is the neighborhood.
Fricking autist
People love those kinds of places until the very first time they need to walk downstairs in the middle of the night to take a piss.
The bathroom doesn't look big enough either
I take the stairs downstairs during the night when I need to take a piss and I don't bother to turn on the lights.
Is it because those wooden ones are slippery? The fabric on my stairs offers a good grip so there's no chance of slipping.
Yeah, they're wooden and they've got open backs so you can't even just sleepily touch your toes to the backing to ensure you've got footing. You'd need your eyes open. It's also really fricking high up.
Also you can tell this was designed by a woman. A gajllion chairs, all simply facing each other. No entertainment. Just endlessly sitting and talking.
>Also you can tell this was designed by a woman.
Fake news. No woman would allow a naked concrete wall with nothing on it.
>not having a pissjar
>not dropping over the railing onto the couch
ngmi gonna make it
the inability to black out the "bedroom" would frick with my sleep
Yeah you'd need a fricking expensive electric blinds system to black out the windows for when you wanna sleep after the suns up but other than that looks pretty comfy.
I imagine you get a lot of natural "night light" from those windows after sundown so even with all the lights off its not pitch black, which I prefer. Its a sexy fricking place to bring girls back to though. I imagine a lot of girls would get wet just from walking in
>cut hole on floor directly above toilet
ya gotta think, anon
>needing to piss in the middle of the night
Are you 80?
>he doesn't have a bathroom connected to his bedroom
Unironically learn Blender. If you are mostly interested in the decorating part you don't need to get too in-depth with it and there are plenty of free resources you can use to create home with more control than any game can provide.
All those seats and no friends to invite.
I never understand the whole sectional furniture deal
When are you ever gonna have that much people over
Birthday parties? Family visits? Monthly friend group get-together?
I wouldn't know, I rent a 30m2 apartment and have seen no one but my parents and my coworkers for the last five years
I was invited to watch a movie by a co-worker and there was like thirty people in that house. How do people even know that many people and keep in contact with them enough to invite them over to watch a movie?
I have no idea how this works. It's like some of us live in a different parallel world. I'm close to maybe 8 people in the world and I go for weeks without a single conversation outside work.
The only things that happen in my local community are for retirees or children.
They don't; it's friends of friends and people you know of, not people you know.
You don't use them all at once, you guys sit in the seats depending on the activity. It more so you don't have to move the seats around
huh? Theres like space for 8 people in those couches and chairs, that's not many people at all.
True, the only time I've ever seen it full was during college years
And only full as an adult during like sport parties or family gatherings
>all that cement for walls
You know you could just murder someone if you miss prison that much...
>House Flipper except you can just build from the ground up
That's a feature in House Flipper 2
>open kitchen
>so many seats
>that fricking ceiling
I hate israelite yorkers so fricking much
man thats a long way to the frickin toilet
I actually really like the aesthetic of the old brick lofts but damn I can't handle open windows without curtains and the type of stairs that aren't "solid." Not to mention the bathroom thing.
I will never own a home.
Been thinking that you just might have to build it yourself
It will look shoddy maybe, but it's the only way to get one
You can't just start building a home somewhere, lmao. You have to buy the plot.
>You have to buy the plot.
Yes genius omg thats why you can't do any fricking thing
Completely nonsensical response to that post.
Is Google Sketchup still a thing?
They sold it to some company and now you have to either pay for it or use a stripped-down browser-based version
What happens when you want to frick but the rest of the family is downstairs watching TV?
House flipper 2 has a sandbox mode. Its pretty sparse as far as content goes.
Any idea if there's a way to pirate DLC for HF1 and 2? Does CreamAPI work on it?
hf1 was on GOG so I just used gog-games for that. No idea about 2, but it currently has no dlc beyond a small supporters pack that adds nothing of note.
Show me a good house design if you're so great.
Even better, show me your fricking house, or do live in some shithole?
I will not show my house to an illiterate hindu
Shoo, pajeet
Cool trailer, does land come included?
of course not, enjoy your shitty insulation as well
Why not just make the whole thing out of glass while you're at it
Is this CG like every other piece of Chinese propaganda?
>No blinds
Time to get arrested for walking around buck ass naked in my home.
Fricking imagine having bar stools in your home. What is this brand of insanity?
>he doesn't live in a pyramid
What's this aesthetic called? Always liked it. Other than the exposed brick wall inside that shit is tacky.
"Industrial loft" is what I call them but there's probably a more fitting name, I'm not an architect. But same, I really enjoy the aesthetic as well, except I actually enjoy the brick walls.
Industrial Loft
I guess "loft" since it looks like every apartment that takes an abandoned factory and calls it "The lofts at [local river]"
For a supposed small house that's a lot of wasted space.
Why are there so many chairs and couches, is this a home or a conference center lmao
Where's the desk? Idgaf if you use a computer or not, but you need a desk for work or hobby stuff at least.
>exposed concrete
frick off
Literally House Flipper 2
How badly does HF2 suffer from Sims-itis? Is it obvious that there's many times as much content available for 1 as there is for 2?
> all that room for an entire second floor
Such a fricking waste
I will never own a house
I thought about living in one of these warehouse places but there's only two complexes in the whole city, both aren't accepting new tenants, and the cheaper one starts at $1700/mo.
