Doesn't come out until next week. Bamco is pulling the "if you don't buy this then no more of this series" bullshittery that Square Enix and Capcom absolutely love to pull all the time. Legacy of Kain is dead because nobody bought the Kain and Raziel character skins DLC for the shitty Tomb Raider Guardian of Light spinoff. I want you to remember this because some way, somehow, S-E really thought that this was a good way to gauge interest in the franchise.
I’m not too worried about that as I’m not terribly interested in anything new, I’m just curious about the base games and if they’d be worth it as I never played the originals.
I missed them too anon, guess I was busy with high school, but I'm curious about the collection as well. I've grown an acceptance of the switch being nothing more than a rom box now, and I'm ok with that, I think.
I keep falling for that trick though. I wanted more of the series and there isn't much else. I also think they sabotage the efforts too by overpricing the interest gauge. vampire Resurrection was 1200 Microsoft Points when the average title was 800MSP and I remember Raziel and Kain were 400MSP for just character reskins, not even scenarios or additional voice/story. I held out on getting those until they were discounted 50% or more which was well past the deadline for the interest gauge, demonstrating I do have interest but only held back by market forces. Sadly this recession will probably hamper the same trial for Klonoa.
I've tried showing my interest via my wallet so many times I oughta get sucker tattooed on my forehead. I'm a dope for these compilation releases but it's irritating when they try to improve too much. With monster boy, valis, cotton, Capcom fighting collection, love a live and I'm sure a few others I'm forgetting it gets overwhelming and sometimes a game falls by the way side. It's not that I don't want this, it's just that my money is finite just like my time.
These games have always looked so good to me. I think it's time to finally give them a try >Klonoa: Door to Phantomile was developed by Namco and directed by Hideo Yoshizawa as his tenth project.[7] Yoshizawa is known for having previously directed Ninja Gaiden (1988) for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
;_;
The Wii remaster which they're touching up for this release looks kind of ugly and barren compared to the beautiful PS1 original. Klonoa 2 looks fine, but they've also turned the bloom up way too high and removed the cell shading. I wanna support the series and let Bamco know we want mote of it, but at the time same time this looks like a shitty product and I'm not a charity homie.
Recently tried out Legendary Star Medal now that it's translated and it's a pretty alright top-down ARPG. The music gets on my nerves though cause it's a bit tinny.
Also why use the short range version of the red and blue attacks when the long range ones are just better in every way and don't cost any extra anything to use?
klonoa is a sonic oc change my mind
looks like a game for autistics
>game for autistics
That's redundant.
So were the games on the switch collection any good? Thinking about getting it

>How about a nice comfy Klonoa thread?
Sounds like a great idea.
The guy with his hat is the best part of that picture

One man directed one of the infamously brutal games on the NES and one of the most cuddly cute breezy games on the Playstation. What a chad.
More like door to pedophile
haha
Just played through 2 for the first time. Really fun game, plays well, has a lot of heart.
It's extremely rare to hear a heartbeat as an instrument that doesn't come off as disturbing. Instead, it's comfy.

I hope to buy xbone version next week
