I agree with the first half, I don't understand the "consistency" part and I also agree with the last part but the reason is simple, the first 2 months of any new expansion/patch is fun to play, after the honeymoon fase is over you will start to see the problems, happens with every content creator and with players too.
Also he tries to do pug hard raids either on heroic or mythic without discord and with clowns that just want to show up on stream, mythic terros for example, he inevitably fails so he has a meltdown blaming the game designers for designing content for people who want to opt into a more involved part of the game. He has no consistency besides keeping in line with the youtube algorithm, you see this with FF14 and any other game really. WoW is good when a new patch or expansion releases, then it's conveniently bad when it's the 4 months into a patch and everyone is waiting for new content. Very predictable.

You dont have to have made a good game to know the industry has been getting more and more stale. Publishers - and by extension devs - have been risk averse for well over a decade now. If youve played games regularly at all in that time its something that isnt hard to see. Thats basically what this dude is talking about. Why does this new game lack innovation, why all the monetization, why another sequel instead of a new ip? Because it now costs hundreds of millions to develop and they have to make thier money back and then some. Its no longer about making a good game that is fun to play, its about the bottom line. Obviously there are exceptions. Thats not to say games back then were better for not having a 300 million dollar budget and a team of 500 people, but at least the ones that were actually fricking bad tended to throw shit at the wall to see what stuck and wouldnt sink the studio in the process.
