PoE needs a massive fricking difficulty increase in all aspects, builds are far to powerful and optimized. Softcore trade gays are the majority of the game though and that means GGG is stuck catering to people with down syndrome.
The game is balanced around the +100mil dps SC trade builds in the endgame. It's absolute cancer.
On the contrary the Soul Eater Archnem Rares are narrowing down build starts and causing people to play only meta builds and nothing else. They should just rename Trade League "Easy Difficulty" and start balancing the game around SSF instead.
To be fair, if you play ssf and you dont get lucky with rolling gear (unless you want to go for a 50h tutorial on crafting gear for your specific build) the game is quite hard. You would spend at least 15 min with a non optimized build to beat quest searin exarch or eater. In trade its like "oh, i have some happy faces, i guess my build is complete" and do whatever content the build is specialized into.
DD ele and SRS guardian obliterate all 4 voidstones with minimal betrayal and essence farming.
The game is unironically the most demanding it has been you literally need like 20million dps + now because mobs have insane damage mitigation

Delve league was the last time I truly enjoyed a league mechanic, I typically show up every 2-3 leagues, play a bit then frick off again because new leagues are tedious, the mechanics are dogshit, and the game is overly powercrept

will let you speedrun the Acts and then go full steam in the maps where you can greatly enhance the loot (and buff the monsters) using the wisps.
The basic Elementalist Witch is cutting through the endgame content like a hot knife through butter.
All that boils down to for the majority of players is to stack MF and run t7 while they sit in trade praying someone underprices a fractured item or something. Then they go and double corrupt their items, snag a MB or HH and quit.

I gave it a shot maybe two years ago. The genre isn't really for me I think and my potato a PC can't keep up with the end game of PoE, where it's just a mess of AoE spells firing constantly as you're surrounded by dozens of enemies and you're zooming all across a map.
When I played, I dropped off at the labyrinth where you advance your class iirc. I think my dumb ass actually managed to get lost and I was ready to drop it anyway.

Affliction league is pretty good, but as per standard GGG practices, the best things spawn 100X rarer than the trash option.
Primalist is obviously the best, which is why the game will constantly give you the Maji and the occultist one , but never the primalist.

Needs some balancing, nobody farms Affliction in higher level maps because its too rippy, at the same time they get insane drops by juicing white maps and early yellows with the Affliction glitter and combining it with Abyss league. Both the monsters and the loot needs nerfing.
Already played diablo III, the genre really is not for me.
I probably just need an SSD or HDD because i don't have space for it. But getting driver license is currently priority for me. I also don't think i would be able to play it with my current job as i don't really feel like grinding after 12 hours shift, but this is the only well paying job i got recently.

Even with an ssd I commonly get 10+ second load times.
Thats still better than game sometimes loading you in instantly but you get killed by invisible monsters who didn't load into the game yet.

Devs deliberately made ex drop rates higher and Divines lower. They want you to actually use those Exes for crafting.
Divs and exa have the same drop rate. They just swapped the meta craft costs(IE suffixes cannot me changed).

have a massive insistence that your player progression should be uniform and good for like 80 levels, but then immediately disappear and your upgrades after the 5-10d mark simply do not exist and are not worth chasing because who the frick is gonna farm out 50-100 div for an upgrade when their build already has to be COMPLETE to farm out that much in the first place? It makes the entire end portion of the game just pointless, which shocker drives away players when there is no reasonable, short term, actual substantial goal to work towards.
all the fun parts of the game you can't do until your build is already done and has lots invested in it, but at that point there is absolutely no point in doing the fun parts because making money is no longer useful - which means the only people who keep playing are homosexuals who continually make 50 alts and new builds.

What I don't like about poe is one skill gameplay. And also no actual way of respeccing. That's why I think D3 is better, than poe. At least it was, before RoS. I'm glad devs unkowledge this issue and poe2 will be slower and more nuanced than praying for 6l to shit out one skill while jumping through screens. Can't wait to play an actual druid, not that shit from D4.

You get 25 respec points doing campaign optional missions. And you can trade your orbs upwards to Orb of Regrets, one Regret Orb= one respec point. Overall if you've been actually picking up orbs from the ground you should have 30-50 respec points by the time you hit maps. Thats 2/3 rds of your build. If you have somehow managed to frick up so bad that can't help you, might as well start over.
Its really hard to hit the wall until you start thinking about fighting Pinnacle Bosses because as long as you just build a frickton of HP and cap your resists, you can get pretty far with shitty damage numbers.

So you do what everyone did in D3, you reach the endgame, then you respec to another build, play for 10 minutes, respec to another one, play for 10 minutes, then quit playing the game altogether because you just played every single build and had no reason to ever play the game again. I got a better idea, just install a big shiny "Instant Win"-button in Twilight Strand entrance. When you press it, you get a Congratulations screen with shining neon colors and you can just skip the game altogether.

Poe forces me to start new character if I manage to get something with god rolls, if it's not compatible with my current game. I just need 6 characters and I can try out any build when I get cornerstone item to drop. I don't need to create new char. I don't need to trade for orbs. I don't need to grind them. I don't need to new character because of fotm or nerf. And I can easily switch between builds. Just one journey per character and freedom to do what I want.

It definitely takes a lot of time. I think I ended up with 3 days of played on my shitty tectonic slam of cataclysm build, that's a lot of playing for 4 weeks. Got all ubers without any deaths but I feel like I could've done that 2x faster with a strong meta build. I'm kinda hoping that PoE2's end game pacing will be better.

There are so many uniques now that i wish you could specifically farm for them with bosses or in zones like you could in Diablo II.
How do I get good? First build got filtered by Vaal Oversoul, and now my second build is starting to lose steam in Act 4. A lot of people say to copy and paste an online build but that sounds kind of boring
