    >stop paying for GaaS.
    >stop giving the worst anti-consumer companies like EA, ubisoft or blizzard money.
    >stop buying early access games.
    >stop buying low effort DLCs and microtransactions
    that's a good start.

Stop preordering, and don't buy any game unless they sell the game and 100% of its current and future content unlocked for one reasonable price. Otherwise you're buying a promise that will be broken every time.

The whole "pay with your wallet" thing doesn't work, as time has clearly shown again and again. It's crazy how you people still believe that in 2022 with the state of the industry. For every 1 person who follows that mantra, there's 9 others who don't care.

you're moronic. if they made no money they'd either cease operations or be forced to change. goes without saying.

if. but fact of the matter is that goy cattle doesnt care about horrible business practices and even enjoys and supports them. people unironically *want* to pay money for cosmetics, DLC, microtransactions etc. the whole vote with your wallet thing works and the consumers vote that they like shady business practices.

But they are making more money than ever. That's the whole point. People like us who understand how these things work are an extreme minority.

That "IF" is the big thing here, my friend. Like I said, the problem is that for every 1 person who doesn't buy into something, there's 9 other clueless morons who do. Why do you think things like early access, DLCs, microtransactions, lootboxes, season/battle passes, expensive skins, preorder bonuses, pay2win, play2earn, etc. are all so prominent in vidya now?

sure, but it'll be more obvious for smaller devs if you start supporting them more instead - which will make the indie scene bigger and expose more and more normies to a better and more healthy way to release games. i just think it's better to do something than do nothing and just complain about it.

Requires a little more normie participation but I feel like it could still work. I'm not hopeful though, diablo immortal being a good example.

      >stop buying early access games
A lot of people I know buy these games and play them out before the full release. When the full release happens, I ask them to play and they said the game it old new, even though 1.0 just hit.

Teenagers will continue to pre-order forever. They lack the ability to discern being ripped off, all they know is they want to pre-order the game to show off to their friends either by getting the game before them or having digital items they don't have in-game.

Go to any trailer on youtube for a popular upcoming game that allows pre-orders and the comments will be kids bragging about pre-ordering it or getting the deluxe edition. They don't think about the game industry, all they know is they want to play the game without thinking of where their parent's money is going.

Unirroniclly, but with your wallet. When you pirate games you like, your letting another homosexual buy pozzed games that appeals to the LGBT. When they buy games, guess who devs tend to cater to

Stop giving money to israeli games.
Start cheating in every game with microtransactions until the community disolves due to the game being unplayable.
Send DDoS attacks to AAA game servers especially the ones used for DRM
Shout racial slurs in voice chat of said games
    Among other things.
