Look at the loading screen when you use fly in the Terrarium, they get around with Skarmory there. If you're asking how someone flies TO the terrarium itself, it's pretty obvious they skip the part where the player character has to board a fricking airplane, then walk down into the terrarium. Imagine if we couldn't fast travel from Paldea to somewhere in the Terrarium because hurdurr its underwater.
They have a separate underwater plane to use because having exclusively Pokemon to use for your aerial transportation sounds extremely expensive and time consuming.
Just use your little imagination and assume you're flying to the entrance, taking the elevator, going to the airport and flying back home.
If you had to do all of this every time or even go through the whole sequence you'd be incredibly annoyed
I am at the entrance of BB academy (above sea level). I used the fly option to enter the terrarium.
This means I called the Squawkabilly flying taxi all the way from Paldea to come here so I could take the elevator.
Frick the flying taxi why did they have to add this shit, using your own Mon to fly is better or at least a specific Pokémon like Hisuian Braviary in PLA is better

Koraridon is only going 100 -120 (160-180) mph during flight, most commercial flights at optimal glide time exceed 300 (500) mph.
So it would be the same as trying to fly Charles Lindbergh style across the ocean in a super-light.
Not only would it take approximately 3 days from Paldea to Unova but thats with no breaks.

Blueberry doesn't use Squawkabillys for their flying taxis, obviously. They use Skarmorys. Kitakami taxis use Noctowls. Pay attention to the loading screen when you fly.

Ok, so I'm not calling the flying taxi from Paldea, Unova may have its own flying taxi service, but it's still weird that I can enter from the sea level entrance to the underwater terrarium by flying.
I wouldn't be surprised if the mainland's taxi service uses Braviarys.
