      That said, they absolutely did lift that from Dune. For all intents and purposes, WH40k (not to be confused with nu41k) is a shared universe between Dune, Asimov, Heinlein, and others.

    I personally like the idea of skimpy combat attire because most weaponry (or magic) is going to toast you anyways no matter the armor.
