There's no grip. What do you think the ergonomics are going to be like?? There's a reason all controllers have grips now.

>It ain't exactly like people go "oh yeah this guy is cool, he has a controller without poo on it oooh"
not really the point. I still don't want a controller with poo on it.
It honestly has nothing to do with racism. It's a stupid name that doesn't make sense to someone who speaks english as their first language. At least 8bitdo is coherent.

Huh I guess being force-fed racist memes day after day doesn't actually make one more intelligent it just leads to the most insane and useless intrusive mental connections. Some guy in China once thought "I've got it. Gamesir. It's like we've got class, like a video game gentleman." Foolish they who didn't consider morons people on an imageboard obsessing over Indians for years and how that might impact their branding.

I got the ultimate bluetooth controller
it is pretty good but I don't have much to compare it to
seems to be on the quality of the ps5/xbox/switch pro controller, but more configurable
>gamesir
That name doesn’t exactly inspire confidence.

I found the Ultimate kind of disappointing for the $70 asking price. Analog triggers are a negative for Switch games (the main target of the controller and where I used it), I found the software to be buggy, and the dpad is honestly overrated, it's a much mushier SNES pad. It also has weirdly vertical grips that made reaching for the inner parts like the road and right analog stick uncomfortable after long periods. I returned mine.
I like mine but I definitely get that vertical grip thing. Your wrist kinda sit at a very slight odd angle and after a while it does become a tad uncomfortable. The grips need to bend out just a little bit more.
Other than that though I like it.
I love the fact I can map L3 and R3 to the back buttons. Always hated when games make you click in L3 to sprint or something
Don't know about the SNES variant, my guess is that they'll be pretty uncomfortable for extended periods of play. Buy the Pro 2 instead, they may be a few dollars extra but they are definitely the frick worth it.
If you played Super Nintendo you can use one of these. It's the only controller I use for PC.
If you're too young to have played Super Nintendo then it's like $30 so get it anyway.
had the wired one, it's the same as a SNES controller face buttons and dpad are really good but the back buttons (not triggers) are pretty fragile and the sticks have a lot of deadzones
I have the ultimate now or whatever it's called basically the xbox clone and it's much better
>GameSir
Heh I have a T4mini
A decent chinkpad, I looked for exactly that compact format and it's been serving me great
It just works with everything I throw at it >t. real racist homie who has been pushing good morning sirs at every opportunity
I've had the standard SN30 for a few years now, and while I've never had any issues with comfort the build quality isn't great. I've had to open it up a few times to deal with sticky buttons, and mine had a lot of issues with false inputs on the D-pad until I did the tape trick.
If you accept this it's a pretty decent controller for retro games, and once you tape it the D pad is really excellent (not that you should have to of course).
just be aware that chink clear plastic is not nintendium
it's the same shit as the playstation stuff so it scratches instantly on contact with anything harder than skin

The 8bitdo pro 2 is that controller but with grips.
Yeah the SN30 is just the portable model to stick in a pocket and sync up with your phone. Idk why OP is looking at it over the Pro 2.
Like 8bitdo is any better sounding?
"It do be 8 bit doe fr fr"
/Pol/rot in full effect... Jesus dude, go out and touch grass.
It ain't exactly like people go "oh yeah this guy is cool, he has a Playstation controller oooh"
>It ain't exactly like people go "oh yeah this guy is cool, he has a controller without poo on it oooh"
not really the point. I still don't want a controller with poo on it.
>literally confirms my argument
Right... forget the grass. Your ass needs a shrink or perhaps even god.
still not touching the poo
it's chink, not poo
so is 8bito
one picked a better name
perhaps, but businesses rarely check Ganker for names to avoid, maybe they should~

Show me where I said that.

I've seen reviews on those and people love them but I can't bring myself to buy something named GameSir this place has ruined me

*like the dpad and right analog stick
I can still return mine, but what should I get instead? I want it to have bluetooth so it works with my phone in addition to the usb for my latptop
I mean, if you like it keep it. I don't game on my phone but for a PC I'd just use an Xbox One/Series pad
you still use AA batteries or a rechargeable pack

I have the playstation controller ripoff 8bitdo and it has served me well. my R1 button is starting to become a little mushy though.
>Everything nintendo makes requires a third party handle to be feasible
Hilarious
It feels like a snes controller, but the joystick is kinda uncomfortable, reaching the far feels weird without the handles of modern controller
Don't know about the SNES variant, my guess is that they'll be pretty uncomfortable for extended periods of play. Buy the Pro 2 instead, they may be a few dollars extra but they are definitely the frick worth it.
They feel fine. The d-pads are garbage though.
but why wouldn't you just get the pro 2 instead
because those aren't transparent
oh shit alright i didn't see those on Amazon so I figured they weren't a thing, frick they look super nice
If you played Super Nintendo you can use one of these. It's the only controller I use for PC.
If you're too young to have played Super Nintendo then it's like $30 so get it anyway.
Why would you ignore decades of evolution in the design of controllers and pay for obsolete products.
You seem like a sincere contrarian homosexual
i mean they are based on snes controllers which werent very comfortable. id much rather play on a dualshock if im gonna use an emulator
>snes controllers which werent very comfortable
Excuse me? SNES controllers were very comfortable.
Get an ad.
I got a spare 3rd party ps4 controller that can plug into a PC.
