Depends on the region and class. It wasn't unusual for Italians/Greeks/Egyptians to have variations depending on whether someone laboured under the hot sun or stayed under shade.
Definitely the marble sculptures since they demonstrate their Europeans features and fair hair and skin. Of course some of them tanned but they were far more similar to a 19th century Englishman than an Arab.
Her face is an interesting mix of girl next door vibes while still being striking, it's impressive honestly. Was her face based on anyone or just made from scratch?
Absolutely not. It's Origins with a worse protagonist and even more empty space on an even bigger map. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my time with Odyssey and its DLCs, 100% the whole thing, but the only thing it does better than Origins is open combat and that's just because of bullshit Isu powers and a complete disregard for stealth in almost any capacity. Both are miles ahead of Valhalla though, for what it's worth.
Quantity over quality. Which is unfortunate because the gameplay itself is pretty good, and Eivor, male at least, is really fricking good with his performance. But there's just SO FRICKING MUCH cookie cutter Ubisoft side shit it bogs everything down.
>is really fricking good with his performance
Game of Thrones man is just as awful as female Eivor, don't lie to yourself. He whispers damn near everything, can't do the serious bits at all and when he tries it sounds hilarious, has worse delivered lines regarding Synin where he sounds apathetic to have it helping him, and he just sounds like he's tired of having to do anything they ask him to voice. I can't stand him when I play as him and Eivor herself is even worse with her b***hy tone to everyone she meets. At the very least Eivor can do the serious moments most of the time as long as they don't require shouting, but Havi can't at all.
Is Odyssey worth playing? I enjoyed origins I'll be honest odyssey looks long and a bunch of side shit.
It's bloated Origins with one of the worst written MCs and a Greece that is beyond repetitive. Also, if you like the assassinate people, fight people, and shoot people with a bow that's tough luck because now you gotta pick one of three of those unless you go for specific builds. The combat is the only thing improved on Origins, they actually got rid of basic immersion things for no reason with Odyssey and the towns feel deader than ever, even Sparta and Athens.
Do you want an AC game? >Valhalla but note it's very bloated the longer you play.
Do you want a generic RPG that makes you go through Diablo Loot? >Odyssey.
Odyssey's fine as long as you know what you're going into it for. The dialogue choices barely matter so if you're wanting it for that put your expectations at the door. If you want it for ship combat and think it's gonna be like 3, BF, or Rogue throw that idea out the window as well since it's not and is more about ramming and spamming every single spear and arrow attack you got as much as possible.
Valhalla improves several things Odyssey did by getting rid of Diablo Loot for equipment you upgrade, making combat a lot smoother and with better flow, allowing instant assassinations instead of dealing with that awful "Enemy is too high level so your knife to his throat does nothing" thing Origins and Odyssey did, and actually making the areas more enjoyable to explore. The downside is that the longer you play the worse it gets in terms of how everything feels bloated, the story is honestly some of the worst writing they've ever had, none of the settlement quests feel fun, and barely any characters you meet ever matter for anything.
>tfw Kassandra is like Highlander and can show up in literally any time period
If Ubisoft were able to make kino they would make more of a linear game with Kassandra going through lots of time periods and losing friends and family and whatnot. Watching them get old and die while she never ages. It would be all sad and shit.
>progress through a series of smaller areas instead of one gigantic empty open world >built in excuse for having a bunch of different cites & regions
shit id play it
Kassie
Ancient Greece is pretty kino to begin with. Odyssey is the only AC I enjoyed since unity. Hats off to Ubisoft, they do things right every 5 years
Only decent AC game since brotherhood
Tried to play. The egregious race swapping of ancient Greeks was too much for me though.
is it the marble sculptures or european paintings that made you think that greeks are white?
It was the portraits they made of themselves on ancient mosaics moron.
They weren't as white as someone from Norway but nowhere near as dark as Saddam Hussein.
Depends on the region and class. It wasn't unusual for Italians/Greeks/Egyptians to have variations depending on whether someone laboured under the hot sun or stayed under shade.
They were Mediterranean and had olive skin.
Definitely the marble sculptures since they demonstrate their Europeans features and fair hair and skin. Of course some of them tanned but they were far more similar to a 19th century Englishman than an Arab.
I'm half Greek and my family lives in Australia and my mother / uncles who are 100% Hellenic are seen as white.
>Half
>doesn`t live in greece
You aren`t greek, simpleas
there are some ugly greeks but most of them still have white skin.
homie they're olive skinned. They live in the Mediterranean of course they have dark skin.
>shiling asscreed ubislop
It’s like the fifteenth thread today
>tfw no strong Spartan gf to claim me as her own
With her thighs as thick as your torso, naturally?
Kassandra is probably the most actually beautiful western female protagonist in years.
Her face is an interesting mix of girl next door vibes while still being striking, it's impressive honestly. Was her face based on anyone or just made from scratch?
Made from scratch as far as I've heard. She looks nothing like the voice actress anyway, who herself is really hot too.
Odyssey was okay but it wasn't as good as Origins. Origins is the best in the series in a long fricking time.
Odyssey is literally origins but better
Absolutely not. It's Origins with a worse protagonist and even more empty space on an even bigger map. How did they get Valhalla so wrong? I haven't played it but from what I've seen and heard it's even more of a slog than Odyssey.
Quantity over quality. Which is unfortunate because the gameplay itself is pretty good, and Eivor, male at least, is really fricking good with his performance. But there's just SO FRICKING MUCH cookie cutter Ubisoft side shit it bogs everything down.

It's fun to stealth the fortresses, the boats are fun too.
>only 5% of the players pick kassandra
>SHES CANON CHUDS REEEE
kek fricking pathetic
Kassandra as Deimos doesn't work as well as Alexios
Kassandra as Eagle Bearer also doesn't work as well as Alexios. Should have found some bullshit Isu way of cloning Alexios or something.
i was surprised there was so much outright comedy and slapstick in the game, it was fun.
AC1 <=> AC2 >>>>>>>> all other AC
It's like Witcher 3 but without the parts that made it good
it's like witcher 3 but without autistically gathering ingredients for 2 hours so you can kill a monster
Is Odyssey worth playing? I enjoyed origins I'll be honest odyssey looks long and a bunch of side shit.
it's just a bigger origins
she's so ugly
If you had to pick one Valhallaor odyssey?
Do you want an AC game?

valhalla is what people that mock videogames as childish stories and repetitive actions have in mind when they do
its all the same shit just pick which setting you're more of a fan of
i dropped AC at black flag
I WILL NOT PLAY YOUR BOAT SIMULATOR
Quantity over quality. Which is unfortunate.

>Highlander starring Kassie
You can see Crete from Athens. Feels like I'm really in Greece
