      Anon, P5 was the game that made JRPGs normieshit in the first place. Before, the genre was really struggling with flop after flop coming out of the Tales franchise and Final Fantasy.
      It is quite literally the FE Awakening of the genre as a whole.

        Probably true, but I wasn't too worried for JRPGs either way. Now maybe they just get more mainstream attention, which means more money, which means more options for good games. Also means sifting through garbage when they force cultural norms into the game that shouldn't be there.
