I’ve been playing mine again this week. It’s so much more comfortable to hold than the Vita; and I like the Vita. I hate the glossy face, though. Always have. So many fingerprints.
But it does everything. I actually wish I could remove most of the shit that’s on the XMB.

I have the blue one, the screen is a little yellowed but I still play the shit out of it, mostly gran turismo, spyro, and symphony of the night
It, like the DS, GB, and other handhelds of that size, have been obsoleted by the smartphone which would've been nice if games had the same soul as the early early 2010s where they were basically just flash games but... we're stuck with gacha and games that you can spend several grand on to actually progress anywhere. At least the 'eck and the switch are neat.

I had two of the red one. And two silvers. Why so many? Because the PSP 2000 was a flimsy piece of junk. Never had any problems with the 1000 model, still works like a charm. Their original PS3 was a piece of shit as well.

had a psp from like 2009-2012. had it hacked by my sisters boyfriend. it was incredibly based. played so many damn games. psp, snes, gba. also first time i played cave story was the homebrew psp port. great times.

There is no reason to buy a PSP over a Vita today. The Vita is just a better PSP.

I got the PSTV when they were selling them for $25. No fricking idea where I put it, thing was so small. PSGO had video output but then you're limited to PSP games, which won't look so good on a TV. Fine for emulation.
I wacked off to Liz Vicious while pretending to take a dump. My buddy used Limewire but that was on a family computer and of course he got caught.
the 16:10 screen ratio is doing a lot of the work here. its extremely pleasing to look at, even if you dont notice the difference
if you had a psp from middleschool to high school, you were pretty much guaranteed to have used it as a porn machine at some point. everyone i know did. the first porn video i'd ever watched was when a buddy in middle school brought his psp to my house and had a bunch of videos saved on it.
I don't remember the name of it but I had a program in Windows that resized/converted images in batch for the PSP screen and I used it for hentai.
If only it had the Vita's sticks, it would be the perfect handheld.
Shit genuinely felt like a luxury product compared to the DS.
It was also pretty damn good at emulation and could even natively do PS1 games.
Fricking devastated me when my PSP got water damaged by being exposed to rain one day.
