I loved Left 4 Dead but the survivors screams when they were dying became too much and I couldn't find any mods to edit them out.

basically, I imagine the survivors have lived for a long time and killing zombies is basically their job now to match the skill of the game. if I'm playing realism expert the mods are off to feel more immersive

I know. Thats what i did. But instead of imagining they've been doing this for a long time i imagined they were doomsday preppers such as militiamen or perhaps people who are just /k/ as hell already having tactical kits so when the zombies came they were already armed and trained through their proffesions/hobbys

rochelle is the only character i replaced. I just don't like her. She's not cool or funny. just annoying. there might be better ones out there but theres literally so many models on the workshop i'd have to spend multiple days comparing.
Is there a mod for L4D2 that readds the L4D1 maps as they were without the shitty 2 SI and is there an improvements mods?

I subbed to some WW2 weapons, WW2 soldier models, eventually switched to a CoD MW2019 animations vanilla weapons pack, it's your average tacticool stuff but I've grown to like it oddly enough...
I usually like transforming the game entirely off of a theme with fitting stuff, sadly there aren't enough mods to complete a collection I want so yeah... What is your favourite custom campaign by the way?

I've never modded the L4D games besides playing on some custom maps
Do modders actually put in the effort to replace voice lines for character replacements? I could go for some RE mods if so. Really, I just miss Mercenaries.
I mainly just mod the survivors and replaced the guns with their CS:GO counterparts.
Though I'm too autistic to use a Bill mod that doesn't also replace his corpse in The Passing and a lot of them just don't.
