I understood that when I tried Sonic Adventure 2. Every time I mentioned the game's broken physics problems, sonic fans simply glossed over like it was a nothingburger.

When I was younger I had an Amiga an I use to draw Zool running faster than sonic, jumping higher than Mario and being an all round better character.
64 isn't the last good Mario game, that's Galaxy 2. And both Galaxy 1 and 2 are better games than 64. Mario's controls in 64 aged horribly.
I wish Adventure 1 was only Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy and their only gameplay objective was to run to the goal and there were more than 10 stages. Also make Amy a fast character there's no reason not to I don't care if it doesn't fit with her description of not being a very fast character do it anyway no one wants to go fricking slow in a Sonic game. She should be running fast and be able to use her hammer while running and double jump.

I didn't care for either galaxy game as the entire game was just floating set pieces in a void. Where different stars were just the same stage but a launch star just pushed you to a different set piece. Felt phoned in.
Did you play the Switch version of 3D World that comes with Bowser's Fury? I didn't play the Wii U original but I fell in love with 3D World its up there with World for me
Yeah, not the Wii U version. I was going to play 3D Land next but I wanted to take a break from the 3D games. Just beat Super Mario Bros. 2J last night and it was painful.

I've moved on. I replay the old games up to about Heroes and make two exceptions for Mania and Generations but other than that Sonic is just too much of a trainwreck for me to care anymore. I find it incredible how people sung the praises of that lazy pile of garbage Frontiers. It's true what they say about open world slop, that's all you have to do and people eat it up.
