How do they get their electricity if all the power lines are broken?
Where is their trafo substation?

Fallout isn't realistic? Say it ain't so
This question was given an answer in the previous thread.
The lines are clearly overhead, as can be seen in the image, you dumbfuck. Nobody makes underground lines for small rural areas either. Are Path 26 and Path 46 also underground, you mouth-breathing troglodyte?
Small towns and settlements rely on generators and fission batteries, while bigger town and cities rely on an underground grid. They’re not so hard in fact I’m pretty sure someone said in that last thread. But this thread isn’t about answers it’s about you getting BTFO in the last thread and now you’re butthurt and trying to bandage your pride
>overhead lines clearly visible in image
>nuh uh they're actually underground
Generating from what? Diesel?
can you even read properly you stupid moron?
Never said underground generators autist but nice try , the generators can be seen connected to various buildings. Also they’re fusion generators
what was their tax policy?
>What are fission batteries?
What's hoover dam for?
Not for powering every single 4-shack shanty towns in the middle of nowhere, that's definitely what it's not for
There's literally high voltage line towers within eyeshot of goodsprings you tard.
Those lines don't connect all the way across the entire map, retard
The battle for Hoover Dam is about the Strip, freeside and surrounding areas. No one cares about Goodsprings.
If those lines aren't meant to feed any grid, why are they there? Aesthetics?
...They were there before the war, and fell into disrepair between the war and the events of the game
I'd like to think you're trolling but I honestly can't tell with this board anymore
Why are there still bombed out ruins if people started rebuilding decades ago?
Vegas wouldn't exist without it.
I'd rather autism over stuff like this Broken glass here. I never understood this kind of thing. Why wouldn't they clean up that broken glass? This is a saloon that's been presumably operating for some time, at a certain point, wouldn't they clean the shit up. Every building is like this, buildings in this game should look like people making abandoned buildings livable spaces and not people overnight squatting in abandoned spaces.
Also why doesn't my character ever get tired when running? How come I never have to take a shit or piss? I can't believe Obsidian released this trash.
They were recently smashed by the Great Khans who also broke Trudys radio. She chased them out at gun point before you woke up.
Every little nitpick or point you had or will have was discussed and talked about more than a decade ago to the point of redundancy. There is always an explanation for it.
The Khans personally visit every single household in the Mojave every day to make sure the glasses are smashed?
They visited that particular bar and caused a scene
Trudy isn't even in the game until you deal with Sunny's quest, she probably has shit going on and didn't have the time to replace it.
Why are you so fixated on Trudy's place when the post you quoted specifically mentioned the issue being with all interiors in the game? You're also bringing up the Khans for the n-th time when the whole quest is powder gangers vs goodsprings. You're an absolute idiot. Hardly sentient. Stop posting.
Everything about the interiors in this game are falling apart, the dry wall is crumbling, people can build and program robots but they can't swing a hammer? The actual reason is to have "whoa cool apocalyptic atmosphere!" rather than an actual realistic look at society 200 years post the apocalypse. Also you guys keep mentioning power lines in goodsprings, they're all broken, they go no where. The only real conclusion is they run off batts they charge elsewhere.
>The actual reason is to have "whoa cool apocalyptic atmosphere!"
Nah actually the real reason is because Obsidian vonsists of utterly lazy piece of shit hackfrauds who couldn't even be bothered making their own assets.
They would have if they didn't need to put out a AAA open world game in 18 months while having to learn to use Bethesda's outdated potato engine
New Vegas is an AA game at best. I've seen indie Unity projects with better production value.
In 2011? And how many of those are open world, made in 18 months and with as many quests and lines of dialogue as NV?
>made in 18 months
18 months is a long time
For game development? fucking lol, you're absolutely clueless.
here, i made an unsmashed window asset, that'll be 18 months + tip
Okay but where's the rest of the game that you made?
i'm not a professional game studio
now should i take the 30 seconds it takes to make another asset or should i a broken one from f3
hmmmmmmmm i only have 18 months better steal it
>i'm not a professional game studio
And it shows, by the fact you think it's simple to put out a game with the amount of content as NV while learning a new engine, in 18months
look at the broken mirrors in
it takes 10 seconds to make a flat plane in blender and apply a texture
how long does it take to write and record lines that explain why theres a broken mirror in a rebuilding society
josh sawyer spent his 18 months jerking off over lgbt representation and shitty card games
>wild western las vegas crossover game
>should we put poker in? the most iconic card game of all time
>no i have a better idea
now please do the needful sir and redeem
ah yes, instead of being broken the mirrors would've been simply non-reflecting flat white without any shader
the Definitive Edition approach, my good sir
It's set in America anon. That shithole already has a shitty outdated infrastructure and tons of areas that look post apocalyptic as fuck.
The only reason they could make FNV in 18 month was because they reused a ton of FO3 assets. According to Sawyer's own words, they were "kit-bashing" whenever possible, using a combination of existing FO3 assets to create new locations. Since FO3 went for a decidedly more trashed look and had mostly abandoned apartments, this resulted in this dissonance between FNV society being actually rather functional and its environments looking like shit. This is also why gamblers in casinos wear dirty pre-War clothes.
And yet they programmed an entire card game that no one ever plays. By their own admission, Obsidian are inept at time management and project goals.
Didn't know environment and 3D artists do things like programming minigames.
Have you even played the games retard?they have generators and bizarre nuclear teck..
why don't they just work to rebuild the world?
they live near a dam and the dam has a substation, nuff said.
i think most settlements make power locally? i have seen the power stations in some settlements
>swallows cheatos and gasps for air
Bighorners, good eatin
