make it illegal with death penalty
i'll play easy mode then
remove it
Easy. Remove marketplace from Steam. All items are bound to your account and can't be traded aka they have no value.
increase them until they reach diablo immortal level
then the industry will collapse
DONT REMOVE MICROTRANSACTIONS! THINK ABOUT THE DEVELOPERS! THEY GOTTA PAY THE BILLS TOO YOU KNOW!
trannime
im trans lgtbbq+ btw
>You can't remove it.
Fine. Move the decimal point a place or two to the left. They're called microtransactions but they've never been micro.
umm just dont fricking use it???
its not hard. it just fricking guns skins and doesnt change the gameplay.
why are you butthurt? do you get upset when you see someone ingame with a cool skin?
What is gambling?
What is ruining the core artstyle?
What is a paywall?
kys
>gambling
omg think of the moronic children
>core artstyle
no one cares for the art style in a competitive fps game, everyone plays on the lowest settings anyway
>paywall
what?
Locking content behind a paywall instead of grinding for it like in older games.
i have nothing against cosmetic micro transaction. why should you care.
it feel good to dominate someone with a 3000$ AK skin with my default skin
Easy
- No timed/rotation shit allowed. All micro transactions are available perpetually once they debut.
- Lootboxes/Gacha must reveal the rate %'s, and all content in a gacha/lootbox must also be able to be purchased separately starting at least 6 months after debuting in the random drop, and the purchase price must not exceed the price of the game itself or 60 USD, whiever is lower
- When a game's servers go offline, it becomes legal to pirate the game and run private servers.
Forgot some
- no conversion bullshit. You pay with real money, you can't obfuscate it by converting real money into an in game currency which then is used to buy shit or be converted into other currencies. If you want content to be earned with in game points OR real money, then just have a static conversion rate and it costs that amount.
- When you charge people, similarly, you can't only allow people to buy points in set intervals that don't line up with MTX costs: If a MTX costs 7.39$, then people get charged that amount exactly
I think maybe an early access system would work for cosmetics. Let it be buyable only for x amount of months, then let it be free to unlock for all players after those months have passed.
Gigabased, israelites hate him
start making fully-fledged DLC again, like they used to.
Why fix it? Microtransactions take advantage of idiots. Why should I protect idiots from their own mistakes?
Because idiots incentivize greedy israelites to make games more predatory.
Sounds like the issue is a moral one, and good luck legislating morality.
National socialism or fascism would like a word.
Don't use real money.
Give players coins for playing the game or let them unlock it via some hard challenge.
Solved.
All I can think of for alternatives is earning revenue from merchandise, charity, collaborations and (obvious) sales.
>tfw 3rd worlders see my 7k knife ingame and then just target me instead of my team
>then they lose
>then they add me on steam and try to beg/scam/etc..
feels good man
How come people hate NFTs when people buy and sell virtual skins. It's basically the same, isn't it?
valve = good
corporate shills = bad
cosmetics have a purpose
NFTs is like buying money
becase cs skins actually have value and you can sell them for real money while NFTs lose 99% of their value in 2 days
ITT:
>people are not allowed to buy cool skins because im poor
>people are not allowed to gamble with their money
>you should be able to unlock every single skin without paying
>cosmetic items are predatory
>you shouldnt be able to sell your skins
any more moron cope?
>you should be able to unlock every single skin without paying
It’s funny because this used to be reality
Zoomers just think getting buttfricked is business as usual.
your thinking about ancient single player games not modern online games
no one cares for skins in a single player game moron
i should be allowed to disable enemy skins
get a job
Remove whales from the market.
Why would I care if people want to buy skins?
Literally not my problem. More like my opportunity.
the 3rd world poorgays are seething
remove them
If you ever pay for a microtransaction, you get a giant "PAYPIG" tag next to your username. Additionally, whenever you enter a server, area, etc, "Giant homosexual [xyz] has entered" appears in chat.
Every time you type something in the chat, there will be 50% chance of swapping your message with "Oink-oink".
If you're a big name company your AAA game can have microtransactions in it but legally the game can't sell for more than $29.99
Put "micro" not only in the amount of content, but also in the price. All microtransactions should be below $1.
Purely cosmetic and you can earn it anyway through playing the game in a reasonable timeframe and progression.
IE, no "You need 300 hours to get 1 of 300 skins, with a chance of getting duplicates" shit.
You milk impatient people and everyone still gets access normally while playing the game.
It's easy.
Give option to replace every cosmetic with default skin or model.
Make the currency to buy premium items only obtainable through gameplay, but require a higher skill to obtain.
Free rolls.
Confirmed items after certain amount of rolls.
I made a mistake once
uncle gifted me 100 bucks when I was younger
didn't know that was a pretty big sum
put 50 bucks in my steam wallet
yes, I bought dota 2 keys
got a bunch of SHIT, but I still got 70 bucks worth of shit back and sold it at a profit at the marketplace
not a single ultra rare item
also bought a battlefury later for dirt cheap, someone fricked up a listing
make things grindable in a reasonable amount of time in addition to the gachashit.
Ban it through legislation
>ban everything i dont like
frick off moronic libtard, go suck some troony wiener
track accounts that purchase mtx and mandate a financial handler to anyone who spends over a certain amount on them
the moron no longer has any control over his own money and must beg for a discretionary allowance from the handler like the moronic dog he is
cant you poorgays understand that some people can blow 500$ on cs cases like its nothing? its like you spending 5$ on mcdonalds
being a paypig cattle who pays for mtx is not something you should be proud of you low iq moron
>low iq
>make more money than your yearly salary in 1 month
but i guess you dont even have a job dumb poorgay
>No FOMO items
all shop items are purchasable forever
battle-passes never expire, so you can purchase/progress older ones, they could remove any paid currency from 'expired' passes however
>No random chance MTX
no lootboxes or gatcha
always know exactly what you're buying
>No P2W items
all mtx main focus must be cosmetic only
I don't consider cosmetic items where advantages are accidental to be p2w (a skin makes it harder to see the player), as long as it's truly not intended
but there must be a toggle for users to disable cosmetics from other players
>Only F2P multiplayer games may have MTX
if a game has an upfront cost, then mtx is not allowed (obviously DLC / expansions aren't considered MTX)
>can't remove them
make them each cost 999999999999999999999999 dollars and make the drop chance for anything 0.000000000000000000001
