Forcibly separate all subsidiary studios from publishing companies, heavily regulate publisher oversight in a game's development.

You can't make them as great as they used to be because part of what you consider "how great games used to be" is absolutely nostalgia.
But a big amount of it is just the profitability of video games. These things make such a disgusting amount of money that you couldn't keep corporate bullshit out of them no matter how stringent the regulations. Even if you said frick it and somehow got people to stop buying games rather than trying to regulate people who profit on them, corporate interest would only dry up until someone smelled money again.
This is what video games are now. That sweet spot where games were getting more professionally made but still not driven wholly by profit will never happen again.

    - Fire any and all game """"journalists"""" that try to force their view of the world in any piece they write. They are just as link between the consumer and games, shit went down the moment they thought they had a voice.
    - Fire any and all developers who openly show support for or are trans people
    - Delete any and all gaming "commentary" channels that critique games. That shit is poisoning normal people, people who have never played a game will adopt an opinion of a fricking idiot just because it was in a video
    - Put a 18+ tag on any and all games that feature microtransactions, loot-boxes, or battle-passes
    - Make it a law that not free-to-play games need to allow you to host your own servers
    - Make it a law that forbids premium games from receiving updates that add monetization

Good news anon, most of the gaming sites you and I grew up with are on the brink of collapse, even Gizmodo is using AI for it's articles now. I predict that in less than a year around 80% of gaming news will written by AI.

We go back in time before we experienced everything, then any game today will blow our fricking minds.
Remember the jump from simple platformers into an open world rpg? Kids get to experience that even today.

AAA will always try to comply to blackrock to boost their profit %
So buy indie, yet be sure to not get scammed into a game that is "updating" you might get rekt'd if the developer is offered money or bought

if you elect me ill make a council of the coolest white men who will get to decide if a game gets made or not. I will be on the council as sitting president. the only people who can vote in this are only people who can break 10+ mil point in Tony Hawk.

I run a platform of more strategy games and better RPGs. Down with FPS and AAA goyslop. Now.

wait a gaming crash, but that won't happen anytime soon, other solution is called mass suicide of some "people", oh you mean legal solution? well, if you have 20 billion laying around, you can make dozens of studios and hire thousands of people with brain, and make hundreds of games in 10 years or more.
Things in gaming industry will get worse and worse year after year, so enjoy.
