Galactic Battlegrounds DE
or Supreme Commander Rhiza Returns Edition
>Galactic Battlegrounds DE
I'd buy that
Make more RTS games with big tanks and guns
supcom's only failure is artillery is lame as frick compared to TA
I love the Fatboy, my fav experimental unit
By devs making more RTS games where you play as ancient pagans and increase your power through worship of the gods, then destroy the other tribes by summoning natural disasters.
Not every fricking RTS needs to be WW2 or scifi for fricks sake, no wonder the genre died.
pray indies come up with something
There is a indie project in the works pitched as a spiritual successor to supcom (forged alliance, not 2)
Not sure yet if it'll go anywhere but i think its worth keeping an eye on.

They're also mixing up some interesting mechanics in there too which os neat.
This looks great. I hope it can deliver. Frick planetary annihilation.
We realize that kids now think MOBAs are RTS, and that actual RTS is confusing and oldfashioned.
We make a game that fools them into thinking they're playing a MOBA when they're really playing a genuine fullscale RTS.
This.
Also people should buy and play new RTS games instead playing AoE and SC again and again.
by reinstalling them and play them.
You let me control the general like an action game.
What's the point of that?
Go large like SupCom, Wargame, etc.
It's supposed to be real time STRATEGY after all.
Maybe back in the day your average PC couldn't handle that many units, but this really shouldn't be a problem today.
Make a really awesome singleplayer RTS, add multiplayer later.
Are the SupCom campaigns any good? I only played skirmishes when it first releases
They're basic but the have some nice set pieces here and there, the Forged Alliance campaign has some ball busters on higher difficulties
Its kinda shitty, "operation area expanded". Well frick me for not spamming anti air, frick QAI.
Sup
Man
Neural network ai. Doesnt matter if the games are all dead if you had an AI able to play against you in a manner that is human-like enough. AI in rts now is such garbage, the only difficulty comes from them blatantly cheating or pressing buttons far faster then even the highest ranked starcraft players.
Soulful settings with soulful factions and units.
Kill every subhuman who watches RTS esports.
how about delivering on features instead of nostalgia? We are not nintendo platform fans. Strategy is in the name of the genre ffs.
Damn I love the uef acu, it always looks good.
Stop pandering to muh esports and ranked 1v1
Make decent campaign and ai opponents
Unit clarity and ease of control is important
Allow people to make custom content
Out of touch boomer here, what are the best RTS since WC3?
I got Anno 1800 and Northgard on my wishlist, what else? Needs to be from the last 5 years or so.
>what are the best RTS since WC3?

Um...
If Anno is on your list, you might want to look at Foundation
Other than that, Total War got some new installments which are quite nice, even though they got much (partially deserved) criticism
