The writing is on the wall for xbox so soon it'll just be sony and nintendo which could mean higher prices for everyone. Are you thinking about making the switch to PC? If you are how do you feel about the near total monopoly of steam on PC? If you're staying on consoles, how would you feel if nintendo and sony decided to both raise game prices to $80 a game and make everyone pay $100 a year for online?

i hope so
why would you want that anon?
TP HD Switch port when?
Frickin' why? TPHD had its chance on the Wii U, give other Zelda games a frickin' chance, you greedy fricking homosexuals. Seasons/Ages deserve remakes or whatever more than some homosexual Wii U HD remakes.
seasons > ages just saying
I like both, but Seasons edges it out just a smidge in my opinion.
>Seasons/Ages deserve remakes or whatever
The difference is I don't want Seasons or Ages ruined with Link's Awakening (Switch)'s shitty artstyle
Agreed, but knowing Grezzo and Nintendo, I feel like they'd go for a far different art style and not just retread the same LA Remake art style.
>Wii U
>chance
Emulators and roms
work great for older games but what about newer games?
No
meant for
Frickin' entitled moron wants his frickin' HD remake, go frickin' find that shit on the internet and download a frickin' ISO/rom of it then for Cemu
>sony and nintendo
Sony is trying to speedrun console death by talking about putting shit on PC. There will literally be no reason to buy a Sony console without exclusives.
sony only seems to be putting games from last gen on PC so people will still buy their consoles
which is crazy that helldivers 2 got a day one pc port
lets see how sony does future releases
Getting GoT 4 years after release is speed running to you?
for nintendo its worth it
>The writing is on the wall for xbox so soon it'll just be sony and nintendo which could mean higher prices for everyone.
PC already maxed their parts priced years ago
>If you are how do you feel about the near total monopoly of steam on PC?
I try to avoid steam due to anti consumer practices
>If you're staying on consoles, how would you feel if nintendo and sony decided to both raise game prices to $80 a game and make everyone pay $100 a year for online?
This would never happen, but even if it did the cost for internet subs is like 10x less than the yearly energy costs to run a gaming PC
The switch poo will flop harder than the virtual boy
I disagree.
Cope darrentroony
This but erictroony.
Cope darrentroony, ACchad owns you
You’re gonna run into the ps4 problem, where everyone still has a switch and won’t update very quickly.
Considering xbox was the harbinger of cancer in video games (dlc, subscriptions, micro transactions, etc). I'm glad they're gone. The less American corpos the better (yes yes I know Sony California)
the writing on what wall? You people like Iron Maiden too much.
>release game for $80
>Nobody buys it
>ends up in sale bin for $10
>I buy it
I always win.
So the switch is currently on track to outsell the PS2. Does it do it at the end of next year?
Well in both of those scenarios I wouldn't accept it and stop buying their products and services
>raise game prices to $80
just wait for price cuts moron, and yes even nintendo games get discounts, just not at ubislop levels
> pay $100 a year for online
i have never payed for online paywalls, and never will. On the other hand, since everyone is moving to GaaS, I don't think payed online will last much longer since this business model requires the game to be F2P
they just raised it to 70$ not too long ago. They don't want to increase it again that quickly, frogs boiling in the pot and what not
i havent bought a game on release since fallout 4. i learned my fricking lesson.
i don't even play videogames anymore, i'm stuck into the work sleep infinite cycle, no energy or money for anything else, how did we allow ourselves to be enslaved by business man in suits, it's fricking unbelievable, i may be wrong, but pretty soon heads will be rolling, and they will be wealthy heads...
>no money
why do you work then?
Sony and all the other publishers should stop fricking around with hardware and just pour all their resources into developing games on PC instead.
This would be the ultimate win for us PC chads. No more bullshit proprietary hardware lockouts, no more console wars. Just studio wars who can't cope about lack of hardware ability or underdeveloped platforms.
it would never happen though. But I still wish to see Gran Turismo on PC so I can use an ultrawide perspective.
The writing is on the wall for Sony too.
Which given Nintendo's history is probably a good thing.
Yeah, we'll suffer the consequences of monopoly shit but they won't have anyone pushing the line on everything bad ahead of them anymore and they've been very careful to wait for the others to push it ahead so they don't take the backlash for it.
