Persona 3 Remake is another Microsoft shitwater project like Persona 5 Tactica. So FF7 Remake Part 2 wins this easily because GameSlop pass money isn't involved in its creation. Phil Spencer is an idiot.
I dont really care, I'm spending as little time in the menus as I can regardless of what it looks like. I will take menu function over menu form 100% of the time.
Reload's would be better if not for the black, white and red stuff they've got going on for whichever option you've selected. That is P5 stuff that has no business in P3.
The main thing is that it needs to be functional. Anything beyond that is down to taste.
You'd think the bland/minimalist approach of FF7R would at least be functional, but for some reason it isn't. It's fricking dreadful and a pain to navigate.
Stylish and soulful, but more specifically, custom tailored for different characters. The way the ui changes for different factions in warcraft 3 is sovl
Stylish/soulful, but that's not a wholehearted endorsement. It's just that I feel wholly unwelcomed by minimalist, clinically castrated UI, and I feel games shouldn't be unfun for even a second on purpose.
That being said P5 feeling P3 is not soulful in the least and is artificial and meta, not to mention stylistically and atmospherically incompatible. It's prettier, so it's objectively better than FFVIIR, but it will be grating.

everything by Atlus since P5 has looked exactly the same.
Remake is clean I'm sad they changed it all in Rebirth
I prefer one that fits the game
Remake one is perfect.
Reload one is atrocious, it tries to give a persona 5 feeling to persona 3, for some reason.
>Remake one is perfect
LMAO enjoy your minimalist garbage
I'll take either of those over...whatever this is
You say that but honestly it's more similar to what PS2/PS3 RPG menus looked like, except without the icons
These are the fricking worst
bland minimalist because i dont want the UI distracting from the game which is the important part
Remake ui is totally functional. It's good
Persoyna ui is overdone and garish
Why is he upsidedown and why is there a water motif? I've played Persona 3 FES and it just doesn't make sense.
Death by drowning = death theme and blue color.
Drowning makes no sense, why not just have a silhouette of him with his Evoker to his head if you wanted to invoke the theme of death?
atlus is such a try hard now
If you think this shit is good, you should gouge your eyes out.

Persona is a menu game so it makes sense the devs spend 95% of the time working on it.
Hence I will simply not play that game and/or care about the menu.
But anon, no one asked.
Thats what the thread is about.
It was perfect.
Looks ugly tbqh
Reeks of early 2000's jank.
this is actual minimalism
OP's example is just ugly
minimalism can look great

No UI.
That's a leading question and I refuse to answer it
top looks soulless and sterile
only pro is you can see basic stats at a glance
bottom looks like artificial "soul" and probably has gay shit like sparkles and twinkles for screen transitions (pun unintended)
ive always loved minimalist UIs/Titles.
but realistically, its not the best way to go for the majority of ppl.
Why is Minato "falling" in the menu? His entire theme is climbing to his destination hence his Velvet Room is an almost eternally climbing elevator.
You didn't play the game

Fricking brainlet
>AAHHHHH how dare someone criticize my shitty game
Cultist behavior
You're just moronic if you can't figure out a menu lol.
>using menu to manage your inventory and party
Absolutely soulless and ruined immersion.
Diegetic. I like flourishes and creativity, but I despised how noisy Persona 5 was. It took me a dozen hours to get over it.
>I like flourishes and creativity
Seems like you don't like it
I mean, out of these obviously Persona is better.
>40% of the screen is nothing
>another 20% is MAIN MENU
Trash
A challenger appears
Kino

get a hold of yourself, Jamal-kun.
