The opposite. Games are pretty fun when they're on your drive but I can't be assed to find which rom site actually has the games I want to play. Plus, setting up DOSbox on a new computer and remembering the commands is annoying.
This is why I only download one rom at a time.
When I just went around downloading every game from a consoles library I ended up not knowing what to play and never finishing anything.

Why, I recently downloaded Advance Wars, Drilldozer and Toradora Portable and been happily playing them with no issues.
i only have fun playing games if i physically own them, downloaded games dont technically have a soul which is why they feel less fun.
