Maybe, but I don't say that from experience, first off, and second, while I personally found the N64 version difficult as a kid, especially those silver coins, it was a breeze as an adult. If that tells you anything.
Yes, and several of the DS characters got buffed as well, especially Krunch, but I believe Tiny and Dixie are also notably better than Conker and Banjo
This race is so stupid. I spent hours trying to beat him, I'd heard the race was hard but this was well beyond the difficulty I'd expect from a 'kids game' (it took me like 30 hours to get most of the Trackmania author medals). I tried every bloody way of optimizing my way around the course, deliberately letting the pig kick me at the start of the race to be pushed forward, but I could barely keep up and only occasionally was able to properly clear the water around the track.
Then I realized, after looking this up, that holding A DURING a boost slows you down, even if you initially let go of A to upgrade the boost power, and immediately beat him after practicing a few runs.
I explained that I knew that and was releasing A just before each boost to increase its power, I just pressed the gas immediately after that and didn't realize how much that slowed you down.
I can do this thing where I suck air into my stomach instead of my lungs. Then I can burp like, REALLY loud. The sucking sounds like a demon screaming its way out of hell too.
I do that. I already do that to annoying people on the train.
Rare throws their chars around a lot. Banjo was pulled from a cancelled RPG, Conker was in this before becoming a drunken butthole, Tiptup is in a bunch of random stuff, etc. lore-wise? idk
>Be magical pig from space ruler of a planet >Decide to go to earth to take over some dudes vacation home >Will only give it back if you beat him in a race >Doesn't even have a vehicle just runs
???
i honestly remember struggling with the octopus more. There's something endearing about the challenge put into a game with borderline Nick Jr.-tier presentation and characters.
mash the A button to drive faster and leave him in the dust
Evil pig in video game
by spending the next 3 hours losing to him repeatedly
Look up a tutorial on the most efficient route
like this
>nah I'd win
is the ds version easier than the N64 version? i remember having no trouble with him on the ds.

This was like, last week.
The game tells you about letting go of A before hitting a booster. Think it's after clearing the snow area?

it's similar in F-Zero, or at least GX
I've only done it with Banjo out of the starting roster
It's easier on DS, and buffed Krunch fricks him raw

you're cool

What would Wizpig and K.Rool do if they met?

What's the lore between Tricky the Triceratops being in both Diddy Kong Racing, and Star Fox Adventures?

The ongoing saga of Bumper canonically serving jail time for some unknown reason is one of my favorite things.
As of 2021 he's free on parole.
What did Bumper anyway? My best guess is public masturbation

He does have a vehicle though, he just chooses not to use it and runs like a big baby to flex on you.
>Doesn't even have a vehicle
>boss starts going a second before the race starts
Why are they all c**ts?
>first race is a frickton harder
he was better without it. The second one having items is obviously a factor though.
I till find it funny as frick that he can fly
I concede; I never beat this as a kid, the plane race fricking ruined me.
