Learn why basic redstone items work instead of copying designs off the internet to make your own farms and solutions to problems.
This is the answer. As adults we are more likely to plan out ambitious projects with big goals and of course those will never be finished. Minecraft was fun as a kid because you just did what you want on whim. Don't think too hard about designing shit and just start building what you want.

I thought I was 100% done with the game until I got my headset. Probably put more hours in VR than I did flat at this point. It genuinely transforms the game. The controls are a huge hurdle and you need to deal with some mods acting weird but it's totally worth it.
