just fricking play them and find out?
Both together will probably take you like a total 6 hours to beat
Yeah, maybe if you use cheat codes.
it's wc1 with flying and water and a bit more fun story
The naval combat is awful and the delay after every ranged attack is a pain in the ass but it's a big improvement over the first game in terms of gameplay. SC1 is pretty much a better version of it with a sci-fi skin.
Starcraft is much more sophisticated, actually.
But it’s not 3D
>SC1 is pretty much a better version of it with a sci-fi skin.
I somehow never got on with SC1 despite quite liking Warcraft. I just find the game too complex for the lackluster interface, unlike Warcraft 2 which is pretty simple.
Oh, and also the game is way, WAY nicer looking. Seriously, I think the Beta of Starcraft actually looked like Warcraft 2 and dear god does it look better.
beta starcraft looks quite literally like purple vomit. the sprites and visual design are utter garbage. you can like WC2's sprites, or SC's sprites, but SCbeta is not in any way defensible
It was a quick cash grab that looked like shit and would have all the same gameplay problems WC2 does.
>SC beta looked better
probably the worst take ever made
You have terrible taste
>and dear god does it look better.
Insane comment
it still baffles me how godawful ranged units were in 2. Especially because they're efficient killing machines in 1. One of the aspects where the first game is superior
It's a hundred times better than WC1 in every respect. Also the only good WC game.
WC2 was to me the first actually good RTS game. I love C&C1 but I wouldn't call it objectively good.
I found WC2's campaign to be really boring unlike C&C1, also the naval combat is complete dogshit.
I'm old enough to have played Warcraft 2 on Kali. It was magical to 13 year old me.
What the frick is Kali
iykyk
Based
or
Cringe
?
Frick off and die for Israel already, you queer zoomieshitter
Cringe
frick off you piece of shit
vast improvement in all areas
I always used to just play Kul Tiras and make really sweet naval bases with battleships in orderly lines.
WarCraft I has aged horribly - the sequel is basically the first in the series that feels playable by today's standards, and even then I'd recommended Wargus rather than vanilla WarCraft II.
the first one is borderline unplayable these days, you need to click everything in the most annoying way in the original, movement sucks etc, Warcraft 2 its superior in all ways, music, campaign, cutscenes, online gameplay etc

Is there a custom campaign that brings the wc1 missions to wc2?
Yeas, but even better, it brings them to Warcraft 3!

I know about that, I want to play them in wc2. 3 is too different.
Warcraft 2 is fun and has very cute art and music.
I think the big problem is that it's one of those games that's just "Tech to knights and mass them."
