I have played pic related for 168 hours.
Now forgive me if i am wrong but a modern game like this has thousands if not tens of thousands of play testers right?
And you are going to tell me none of the tens of thousands of play testers that thousands and thousands of hours of this game before i ever had my hands on it were never able to conclude that the Aventador LP750 is extremely OP and capable of winning any race at any PP level and all it takes is a basic bit of tuning?
So if i am able to find the fastest car in the game and a tune that works for it at any PP level that makes me the best there is no doubt about it, why could the devs and play testers who made the game not find this game breaking bug?
All it would take to fix is raising the Aventador LP750 PP rating by 75 points but nope, never done, Game has been released since the 4th of march but no fix, no fix coming that has ever been mentioned and no one complaining about a fix that needs to happen.
Interesting stuff, If this game is dead i am all for that because a dev team as incompetent as this doesn't deserve my help but maybe i am being emotional and rash, maybe someone else has some insight on the topic?

GT5 and 6 did the same thing with PS2 era models. They just realized that they couldn't get away with that anymore on modern consoles.
And Forza still does it to this day, they even charged you money for recycled models in FH4 (S2000, RX7 Spirit R and others)
I never said that they didn't, just that Polyphony has done the same thing. PS2 models are a lot less detailed than 360 models are, though, so there's no way they could get away with using the same GT4 models again in GT7. They don't even have fully modeled interiors.

But all you need to do is a single course experience with no licenses and suddenly you have an lp750 which is the fastest car in the game and can be uses in most races.

Just wait for GT7 to come out on PC, and someone mod it so it works with real steering wheels. Hell, maybe someone will fix the garbage FFB at some point, but that's probably hoping for too much. I hear Sony nerfed the shit out of the FFB a while back because they were scared some dumb kid would max out a DD wheel and break his wrists on it, so now at max force it barely hits 20%.

you are using pedals and wheel, right? I have this shit plugged in right now working. The only thing that didn't work was my th8-a shifter because PS5 refuses to handle the pedals+wheel plugged in and the shifter from a different manufacturer plugged in as well so I bought a g29 shifter.

I have loved Gran Turismo since the first game came out, it really means a lot to me and helped make me into the car enthusiast I am today. But now I play iRacing when I want serious racing. I still bought GT7 and it's fun to play but it's not a serious game. It will never be the game you want it to be. There's a reason everyone pays for iRacing even though it has a subscription and you have to buy all tracks.
No fricking way will i pay a fricking world of warcraft subscription for a racing game, iracing can frick off.

The only way I'm ever going to be interested in this game is if it adds PSVR2 support, and it brings back GT Sport's way of handling multiplayer by locking all the customization down so you don't have to frick with the customization because I just don't care.
