lol, 2007 was the year western gaming went to shit. got uber mogged by 1998-2004. At least japs got their shit together after gen 7
they were starting to get their shit together with the wiiu in terms of game design (barring shitfox zero), they just couldn't into HD like other japs during gen 7.
3ds is worse than DS but the ds is an extension of gen 6 while 3ds is gen 7

TF2 is one of the progenitors of lootbox MTX garbage, have a nice day
This. Portal is arguably the only game in that image that's worth talking about. The Half Life episodes are fine as far as shooters go but the eternal cliffhanger status has kneecapped the series. Team Fortress 2 started out pretty solid but was ruined by 2011. Mass Effect 1 is the only good one and it's still a Bioware RPG with glass-eyed automatons where there should be characters.
Like seriously, compare any of these games with ACTUAL good examples of the genre. Even from around the same time. We went from Deus Ex and vampire the Masquerade to fricking Mass Effect. Quake 3 and Painkiller to Babby's first FPS and "Dad says it's my turn on the Xbox". Assassins creed is a pale shadow compared to Thief, Splinter Cell, Metal Gear, Hitman, etc. It's also one of the worst long running series ever. It's had maybe 1.5 good games and there are like 30 of them.
>you are paying more money for lower quality video games
implying that first of all I'd pay, and secondly that I'd ever play AAA slop. they'd have to pay me to play that shit
the fact you aren't paying is why we have lower quality games chuds..
>you are paying more money for lower quality video games

>Op being an utter b***h gay >Assumes I pay for it first, assumes I pirate it next
What makes you think I'd want to play wokie AAA trash full of nogs and stonk dykes AT ALL ?
>they're lower quality because i dont have fun playing them >this has nothing to do with the fact that ive spent the last 20 years playing videogames for 6+ hours a day
It really was the perfect point in time, advanced enough that we had technologically impressive games but before the point where everything had become pozzed; a time when imagination was the only limit to what could be created and both passion and skill were at an all time high. Now we have more advanced technology, but everybody in the development space is a troony being controlled by a israelite's puppet strings, diversity hires and hylics that don't care about fun, just about pushing their agenda down your throat. The soul is gone and it's never coming back.
In the 90s I used to spend $60 on dogshit platformers that barely worked and now I can get something like Dragon's Dogma for $5-10 on Steam. I'm doing fine.

Forgot to add the Meme box games and Reddit Effect there, bro.
I was being generous to them, the only good game in the orange box is the one from gen 6 and ME was ok
Still mad Tendies?
Kek
no, why would i be? gen 7 was the low point of quality for nintendo's games.
Exactly, you didn't get anything good in those years, so you cope throwing shit to the other legendary games released in that timeframe.
I shit talk gen 7 overall

The grafix are higher quality
>paying
the fact you aren't paying is why we have lower quality games chuds..
yeah, if only Blizzard had a couple more million to put into Overwatch 2 it would've been a masterpiece
that's because you chuds weren't buying lootboxes to support the game. you can't even spend 100 bucks on lootboxes every month or 2? poor
Lower quality games? You mean AAA or should I say AAAA slop?
>$60-$70 in a pile of tens of millions is going to break a company
Yes. The reason why crysis went to consoles for example is because on pc only 1 in 20 copies are paid for and the the rest pirated.
it's funny that the higher percentage rate of sales resulted in lower revenue
The games were shit before I stopped paying. Thats why I stopped. I just download old stuff and play it for free.
>you are paying more money for lower quality video games
implying that first of all I'd pay, and secondly that I'd ever play AAA slop. they'd have to pay me to play that shit
I don't buy modern games unless they get good reviews and are on sale.
i'm not paying more, to make even 2 new game purchases a year is rare for me now
i'll stick to old games
>Op being an utter b***h gay

People have been paying more money for lower quality food that could potentially damage your health for almost 50 years and no one complaints
>they're lower quality because i dont have fun playing them
>this has nothing to do with the fact that ive spent the last 20 years playing videogames for 6+ hours a day
I'm not though? I only buy high quality games.
I'm confused, what are these day counts supposed to mean?
Gaming peaked with the 360. FACT.

Halo 3 would not succeed in today's market.
truly the year gaming went to shit
>paying more money
If I can't get a cheap code I don't buy it. I haven't paid full price for a game in over a decade.
I don't pay for games at all

What do the numbers mean?
