How I can enjoy the game? Mods that make it fun? Real RPG?

>start a campaign, no matter if is feudal, nomad, tribal, republic
>no matter if is vassal or a lord
>combat based in statistics, not in real-time tactics
>full speed so your armies finally get where they need to fight
>constant spam of the same quests, choices, news (your realm prospers, some heresy win, your bishop wants a county, etc), not real RPG
>your allies don't help you despite being next to you, the enemies allies are battle gods despite being in the other part of the map
>you are a king, your enemy is a c**t, somehow he was 2k soldiers that destroy your 10k
>your vassals try to destroy your realm despite they love you (+100, green heart, etc), your own family tries to destroy it too despite they love you too because BANANAS

You're supposed to actually play the game, before making a bait thread about.

I played it and the green text is what always happens in my campaigns.

Then what I should do/improve to avoid green text?

(Conclave DLC removed good ambitions and I still don't know why, also the council are bunch of c**ts.)

If vassals have +100 opinion they normally shouldn’t be targeting you much, but I guess they’ll still have their own internal problems and ways that can destabilize your realm.
You can help limit some of those troubles by checking their traits. Traits like Envious or especially Ambitious are very bad for Vassals.
The Tactics system in CK2 combat is almost completely fricked unfortunately. You either figure it out and abuse it to destroy giant enemies despite having a much smaller troop size or you don’t and end up having the same happen to you.

You can't really play as anything below a king rank (inb4 hurr crusader KANGZ durr) on a long run, and when you are a king, the game play itself.

      >you can't do anything if you are a vassal because your c**t leader
      >you can't do anything if you are a king/grand prince/elected emperor because your count council
      >if you have the luck to become an non-elected emperor, you will die of boredom
You perfectly summarised it and is sad because if the game was well designed instead being a Frankenstein of constant dlcs, reworks and updates would have been awesome.

You can easily start as count and work your dynasty up to emperor. The problem is that it's not fun because once you start playing the marriage game it's a foregone conclusion that you'll get there.

        >You can easily start as count and work your dynasty up to emperor
        True.
        With the same character.
And then you are left with the rest of the game and nothing to do.

        >repeat the same events again and again while you try to stop your moronic vassals and foreign raiders
        Somehow CK2 made Paradox famous.

No, it didn't, dumbass. CK2 was more niche than the rest of the Paradox titles. The Game that made Paradox famous is HoI IV, which is to this day one of the most popular strategy games on Steam. After that, you have EU IV, a decade-old flagship title that still maintains thousands of daily players; then you have Stellaris; and only after that, you have CK2 during its lifecycle. CK3 numbers are slightly above Stellaris now. Both Vic II and 3 are less popular. It's true that CK2 had the highest player peak after it became f2p, but it had no lasting effect on the player numbers or the game's popularity.

Army composition tactics are a mess.

      >having shit-army
I always focus in military tech, my army should be better in both quantity and quality. I really think the enemy AI auto-cheat once you achieve a certain level of power.

If vassals have +100 opinion they normally shouldn’t be targeting you much, but I guess they’ll still have their own internal problems and ways that can destabilize your realm.

Sadly CK2 hasn't genetic mechanics of CK3, I can't create an entire nation of übermensch of green traits. And even if I lucky to get decent/good vassals, they don't have the balls to deal with enemies, you can't eliminate threads because "cruelty" despite that thread has revolt/attack/raid for 20 times.

    >grand-strategy game with RPG mechanics
    >the military part is shit because stadistics always are in favor to AI, there is no real-time tactics to actually combat
    >RPG is shit because you can't do many things because moronic mechanics to make it feel "realistic"/"historical", despite all the supernatural/religious stuff, etc.
I just want a good RPG/grand-strategy game, damn it.

I just use console commands to surpass any difficulty I might be having (usually spawning troops). I have no idea why this is fun for me, but I have 300+ hours in game and most of them were spent cheating.

I don't find fun in cheating, I like the idea of the ironmode, the problem is in its actual state is a moronic mode.

The tactics are easy just build a retinue of horse archers and attach to your levies, you will crush your enemies with ease.
Use the character search to invite the brightest minds to be on your council/lead your armies. You can use this to cheese yourself some extra cash if you need to hire mercenaries to win a war by inviting 100 people to your court and then expelling them all and confiscating their money.
Every now and again it's good to be tyrannical, imprison all your vassals and take their titles if they are becoming too troublesome. Invite/buy new nobles and give one county each to the ones who are loyal and trusting.
I like to have rulers with high learning so I vastly out tech my neightbours, the secret societies can get you 20+ learning and a bunch of items that permanently improve learning so I just keep snowballing this and pair with elective monarchy until you have genius philosopher God king leaders every time with 47 learning or some shit and everything else 20ish.

Horse archers are trash tactically in ck2, one of the worst unit types possible.
They count as light cavalry for tactics weight but the light cav tactics destroy their damage.

This would kill any replayability, the game mechanics allow you to make these stories on your own, the game should be as realistic as possible in portraying the feudal system, instead of delving deeper paracucks is ruining their game by listening to homosexuals like you who have zero imagination.
Maps and tactics build stories that arent predictable.
If you want the sims in medieval times just play sims medieval.

I'm not saying the quests should be scripted, you gaytard, I'm saying that text-quests should exist instead of moronic tactics BUT that text-quests should be procedural, created according your own story, that is true infinite replayability, not the shitty same events over and over again.

do you have all light infantry or something? did you hire mercs and send them immediately into battle? Either way you are doing something moronic, like something that makes you really bad at video games
