Yeah, FFXVI desperately needed a coop mode and character switching. Jill is hanging alongside Clive for like almost entirety of the game, Cid and Joshua also tags alongside them sometimes. No idea why they decided to ignore all those sales they could've had. It's also on fricking FFXIV engine, that engine can handle MMOs, so it can also handle coop.
An especially weird choice when they literally JUST learned that people don't give a shit about your artistic vision not to have other playable characters that are right there. They want to use them. That's why they eventually caved and made the boyband playable even if it was in kind of a moronic clunky way.
Hsr doesn't mog anything, it's the gacha feature and the revenue it generates that does the work; the end-game is farming gear over and over again just like sw/epic 7/genshin
>younger generations.
Many I am kicking 40s door down and except a handful of simple TBC games like paper mario on the 64 and the 2 more recent south park games I refuse to play TBC game.
Thing is I really like the aesthetics of persona and the gameplay is intriguing to me, just the TBC is so off putting that I have never played one.
Same reason I have never played a FF game.
Meanwhile, back here in reality land, Star Rail is doing great and the CRPG genre is roaring back to life. This idea that people's tastes magically changed the day that Call of Duty 4 came out and braindead old fricks started calling for EVERYTHING to mimic it was moronic back then and it's been debunked a bajillion times over the past 15 years, starting with Dark Souls and Minecraft. Not to mention that that mindset literally almost killed the Japanese industry. What changed is that the industry arbitrarily abandoned the turn based genre without ever actually testing that hypothesis.
I'm convinced that Yoshi is proof that you can't surround yourself with idiots and not expect to be effected at some point. He went from creating one of the prime examples that colorful has mass appeal to whining that it (allegedly; he's wrong) makes your game look childish to the masses. And then that dumb shit with him calling the term JRPG "racist".
you're the only one doing that here, homosexual-kun
bg3 was sold entirely on its storytelling and that's the only thing anyone brings up when praising it
Palworld already destroyed this cope, try something else.
The answer is that P3 is a $70 remake aimed primarily at white people, while most Granblue players are Asians.

Palworld's Game Pass version is literally inferior and it's $30 on Steam. I played initially on Game Pass then uninstalled and bought the Steam version when I realised I couldn't play MP.

Indeed. I guess the idea of voicing them is a technical improvement, but they should have junked the old ones wholesale except for the couple that are legitmately good. Take some of the freed up arcana and maybe stick them on the boys in the party and distribute the remainder as needed to cover any waifus missing one. 20 years is more than enough time to think up better mini-stories for a dozen characters.

As someone who played P3FES back in the day after playing the P2 translations I failed to see what made P3 so popular, especially compared to other PS2 JRPGs at the time. You guys ever think the astronomical growth of console users mitigating to PC within these past couple of years is the cause for why players number are so high now. No, because the actual reason is the major migration of Asian PC gamers from F2P games and other launchers from the likes of publishers like Nexon onto Steam.
It turns out that Chinese, Koreans, Taiwanese, etc. etc. also like Japanese games.
Yeah that's why Granblue Fantasy Relink in particular did so well on Steam. People are kidding themselves if they think it's anglophones, it's not. It's Asians
New game vs remake
Action RPG
Main story is a spectacle fest that’s just 20 hours max, with the option to go 100+ post game if you like the gameplay loop
because the P3 remake is fricking garbage
Why buy the inferior product when you could pirate not one, not two, but THREE SUPERIOR VERSIONS of the same game, but better
No fricking point in getting that fricking trash.
sure, but there arent better versions of the Granblue game. There's more incentive to buy it than the P3 remake. Theres just that one version. Why even PIRATE the new P3 remake? Why play it at all? It was a failure in concept AND execution
>there arent better versions of the Granblue game.
the game released on PC without a demo, early access nor promo codes unlike ps5, its fricking amazing it even broke past 50k let alone 100k
Except this keeps happening. The only games that they buy over there are MH, Mario, and Pokemon, and those games sell millions upon millions in Japan. Almost every other franchise sells under 50k.
It sold extremely poorly across the board considering that it's a fricking FFVII remake. It basically got the bare minimum that it could have possibly gotten with modern graphics.
I'm pretty sure it outsold every other game on that list by miles. Just not on Steam since it had already been available for ages on consoles and pc. Anyone who wanted it on PC already had it.
It sold about on par with Arise, IIRC. Which is horrible, since Tales is a niche JRPG series that did not have Final Fantasy VII's prestige and money behind it.
Who knows where Relink is sitting and where it will go. I could see it outselling FF7R.
>Arise
Damn that shit got a higher peak than p3 demake lol.
Yoshitpiss is right, technically action sells more than turn based, but it needs to be on the right console. Snoys don't want jap games so it flopped. Ff16 on pc would've done well I imagine
It'll be interesting to see how it performs. 15 got a (largely undeserved) significant boost from its PC release, and there seems to have been a lot more annoyance that 16 wasn't on pc at launch.
Sadly for them, 16 got a lot of bad rap about it so I don't think the pc release will be enough of an impact. If it was oc at launch, tons of people would have tried it. The hype has significantly died down too.
tbf Final Fantasy doing shit on PC is due to Square Enix being moronic with exclusivity deals. They would do big numbers if they released them day 1 on Steam.
Chinks and asiatics. Also P3R is a remake of a game most people have already played on the PS2, PS3 or P3P on PC and is not like P3R is offering a radically new experience either. Although Relink it's kind of a shit game to be honest but the GranBlue brand is big in Asia.
It was also the most successful launch ever for the series. I think we have a misleading impression of how big the series is because it's popular in online gamer circles.
It sold about on par with Arise, IIRC. Which is horrible, since Tales is a niche JRPG series that did not have Final Fantasy VII's prestige and money behind it.
Who knows where Relink is sitting and where it will go. I could see it outselling FF7R.
>on par with arise
It was like three times as much. It must have had some kind of long tail effect. But regardless, I just don't think a steam comparison is relevant. It's like looking at ff14's steam numbers.
I thought that both were at 5M for whatever reason. Still, 7M is horrible for FFVIIR. It absolutely should have been up there with Zelda and Monster Hunter.
Also, there's the fact that all of the recent 11/10 anime games are stuck on Switch. Anime games have developed a reputation for being kinda crap on PC. We might be seeing the turnaround right now. I hope so. And then maybe the ugly female character trend and prude bullshit can frick off altogether.
I agree it could/should have done better but not at the level of recent Zeldas or MHs, which are freaks within their own franchises. The original VII didn't get near that. It will be interesting to see how the next one performs given there's often but not always a drop-off in plot-linked sequels.
It would be really nice to have higher-quality ports for a change. There have been a lot of Japanese ports in particular that clearly did not have effort put in.
Relink is a new game people have been waiting for for over 5 years now.
P3 is a game from 2006 that has had 2 re-releases and that people are playing for the nth time.
Jesus...I knew it broke 80,000, but not 110,000. I was considering buying it but money is a bit tight right now so I went with Persona, maybe on my next paycheck I'll pick it up. It kind of looked fun, but I was hesitant to get it. I just wasn't aware the Granblue community was so large and so many people were excited for the game. Isn't it based off a gacha mobile game series? Do so many people play it? Are the bulk of the players just Asians or something?
A lot of people who are heavily into the gacha probably bought it on ps4/5 because that came with fairly significant gacha materials. The Steam number represents people who didn't care that much.
114,000 is A LOT for people that "didn't care" I wasn't expecting it to be so high. If you're consistently breaking 60,000+ players everyday then you're doing something right, and 100,000+ is really good.
The people that play the gacha most likely picked it up on PS4/PS5 because they give you codes for the gacha game to get stuff, so those 110000 are probably people who don't play the gacha or don't care about it.
I mean, it's not like you need to know anything about the gacha to understand the story or characters or anything. They said so multiple times during development, they want Relink (and the fighting game, to an extent) to have stories independent from the gacha game, so you don't have to play it by necessity
>WH-WH-WHY IS A NEW GAME BEATING OUT MY REMAKE SLOP?!? NO! REMAKES GOOD! HOW COULD NEW THINGS BEAT THEM?!?!
I wish I could put an iron rod through your fricking skull you fricking troglodyte.
'm worried about these extremely disappointing player numbers for Granblue because Starfield was a huge flop at had over 3 times as many players. I hope the game is doing better on PS5.
Only several other Japanese games on Steam have had higher concurrent player numbers than Granblue. Granblue's highest concurrent player count beats the closet JRPG by 50K.
Starfield had like a trillion dollars budget and was in development for like a decade though. The success of a game is determined by the amount of money it makes. Smaller budget mean it needs less sales to succeed. But a game that pulls what Palworld did are quite rare. Small budget games that sell millions in a matter of days doesn't happen often unless you are Nintendo that can shit out some Pokemon turd and sell billions.
I really doubt Starfield's budget was that much higher than Granblue's actually. Granblue looks like a typical 50-100 million USD AA title and Starfield was according to most insider reports well under 200 million USD. That's why the Sony leaks were so shocking, that their big games are all 300 million +, putting even the biggest MS first party budgets to shame.
>shilled by streamers
Youre acting as if P3R wasnt shilled to hell and back. Literally only D tier youtubers shilled Relink and were actual #ads. Asmongold just picked it up on a whim, and the 50% of the people who play Relink havent even heard of the guy.
Game's surprisingly good. It has everything going against it, being delayed several time and having a lot of issues during production, being a pc release of a console game by a Japanese studio, being a JRPG in general, yet somehow miraculously it's just fun and runs well.
I'm playing Persona 3 on Game Pass because it's literally 1/70th of the price
The real question is why so many morons actually fricking bought it at 10 dollars over full price
>really lazy and cheap monster hunter clone does gang busters
Yet they will still copy Palworld. The message is clear. People want Korean grind in their game
This game really scratches that PSO itch that MH never quite did for me. I like anime and the fact that MH tries so hard to be grounded in realism is just simply unappealing to me, so I'm super happy to have a better and more accurate spiritual successor to PSO in the form of Granblue. Really happy that it's doing so well, too.
I dont think I have ever loved a game more.
Might be due to the nostalgia from playing the gacha back in the day but the fact that this game captured every single feeling the original world had, truly captivating. The art style and the environments aren't something you will see anywhere else
They better have some better localization and no censorship then. Granblue Relink is absolutely excellent and fun to play but that's DESPITE the censorship and localization. The localizers tried so hard to ruin this game with a bad dub, awful subs, and moronic censorship but it's going strong anyway.
They gave deep black shorts to every female character wearing a skirt. Narmaya shows less sideboob etc. Just a bunch of changes to make characters show less skin.
Definitely Americans are to blame for this.
That pic has tekken 8 at 4th most wanted in Japan
Tekken 8 sold only 20k in its first week in Japan
fricking FORSPOKEN sold more than that in its first week in Japan
Once stupid has taken over, it's not the easiest thing in the world to get rid of it. They need a new CEO, preferably one from outside the company who loves classic Final Fantasy and doesn't like the current leadership of those branches very much.
Dead genre. It's like being shocked that a Granblue FPS fails. You're severely brain damaged if you think this action RPG that's been hyped for years doing well is a surprise. Gacha whales are subhuman and aren't even sentient.
I've seen people talking about the freedom that the game provides plenty. You'd have the same cope if a Final Fantasy turn based game knocked it out of the park.
Just admit that there are several high profile turn based games that millions of people are really enjoying. You're wrong about it being an outdated genre that nobody likes.
>no character switch during solo play with AI controlled party members
Not a problem to me, but the game would be significantly more successful if that was implemented.
If you want to sell something, you need to know how to pander.
Imagine how much buck Cygames would make off genshin cucks.
The only gripe I really have with the game is that there's nothing to indicate if a party member's skills are on CD or not.
How hard it could be to make four small diamond tiles icons grouped together to represent skills 1, 2, 3 and 4 right besides healthbars?
>8 years of hype
Part of why people are surprised by its success is because the hype was pretty mild. Development hell is NOT a good sign, it wasn't the most talked about game in the world, and most people who were paying attention expected a mediocre game with a niche game performance. You would have had to have been kinda stupid to be completely sure about its success.
How are you homosexuals so FRICKING stupid? Granblue Gachasy is a billion dollar franchise. What exactly were you expecting? The absolute state of the average Gankerchode.
Dead genre. It's like being shocked that a Granblue FPS fails. You're severely brain damaged if you think this action RPG that's been hyped for years doing well is a surprise. Gacha whales are subhuman and aren't even sentient.
70 dollars for an atlus asset flip is fricking insane, i don't know what they were thinking. if it was 40 bucks it would 5x the numbers. i don't care to look it up but for sure there is scummy DLC day 1 as well. they're just gays man
>Setting aside the fact that all companies recycle whenever possible because that is how all sane businesses operate.
false you dumber Black person. have a nice day. so glad we get to watch persona die in real time
Because p3r has removed content. Its not a remake, it is just another version of p3. There are now 3 versions of p3 you need to play in order to experience everything.
I have no idea I know that steam has an anti “review bombing” mechanism but it doesn’t make sense? Maybe it’s different fan bases? Us persona fans we have standards and since the game has a woke localization we boycotted it, however granblue fans are gays troonys abad morons so they consume gay censored slop?
Literally the only place with real time player numbers visible for all. >B-but on consoles....
No numbers, no proof, no nothing. An IGN article quoting a tweet is the best guess you'll ever get for numbers outside of Steam.
Because YoshiP was right
Final Fantasy hasn't been turn based in 2 decades
Not entirely true, but I know what you mean
Granblue actually has mutiple characters
Yeah, FFXVI desperately needed a coop mode and character switching. Jill is hanging alongside Clive for like almost entirety of the game, Cid and Joshua also tags alongside them sometimes. No idea why they decided to ignore all those sales they could've had. It's also on fricking FFXIV engine, that engine can handle MMOs, so it can also handle coop.

Granblue is actually fun to play unlike XVI
Didnt disprove his point
Relink = good
xvi = bad
yoship = moronic trend chaser
Relink would have flopped if it was turn cringe shit
FFXVI would have flopped harder if it was turn cringe shit, would have pulled a forspoken
i cant really argue against that
we will never know for sure
fpbp
nobody likes menu-slop. turn-base system only exist because of tech limitations
but hsr is turn based and mogs all this games, ff16 didnt do as well as they expected too lmao so thats a moronic reason

Explain Baldurs Gate 3
Nobody's playing BG3 for its shitty divinity combat. That isn't what people talk about.
Making convoluted narratives in your head that barely treat players as human so that you don't have to admit that you're wrong is pathetic.
you're the only one doing that here, homosexual-kun
bg3 was sold entirely on its storytelling and that's the only thing anyone brings up when praising it
lol nope biggest build scene on youtube and leddit since Elden Ring. Cope some more adhd zoomy
Ffxvi wishes it was as good as gbf relink
granblue is an action rpg yet ff16 flopped and sold less than super mario rpg
Super Mario RPG 3.14m sold through
FFXVI 3m shipped (so sold through at best only 2.x something)
Yoshitpiss loses again
Wow those are teally disappointing sales for a mario rpg remake
ugly chibi-shit
But XVI is kusoge and VIIR is kusoge too. ReLink is actually fun to play unlike those games.
FpWp
Then why did FF16 fail????
1 is a demake with shit music and the other is an actual good game
Because P3 is on game pass.
Cope
Palworld cost 30, this costs 70

Yakuza's also getting mogged
>barely sold 1M while being on last gen consoles
grim
>barely
it just hit 1M units sold after just a week
and they spent millions marketting this movie garbage
And its the most shilled game of the year so far
They are talking about steam concurrent players
DD2 is definetly not going to break 1 mil concurrent players lmao
It really depends how well it’s received, if DD2 gets a metascore of 90-92 I could see it breaking 800k at least
Did that cover the xqc costs at least
Yakuza sisters, persona sisters, how do we respond to this?
And here after years of browsing Ganker I would have thought there were a lot more homosexuals playing vidya.
I remember even Granblue fans themselves were doomposting on the game. All things considered, it did really well.
The Granblue fighting game had shit numbers so it was easy to think Relink would also flop. But turns out just no one likes fighting games.
those numbers are fine + it has crossplay
go look at uni 2 if you want to see shit numbers
>lower player count than rising
>65% review score
What did they do
horrible pc port
essentially the exact same game from 4 years ago with 3 new characters
no crossplay
bad lobbies
Game doesn't work for most people
Netcode so fricked picking the mode most would actually pick instantly crashes the game
Basedboys will tell you it's fine then invite you to a gooncord though.
Uni2 literally didn't work at launch
pretty much, fighting games are a dead genre, the biggest one literally just released and is under 18k already, anyone would consider anything under 20k to be dead heck even 30k
>dead
they're fine, they can be made pretty cheap so they don't need as many sales as some other genres
They can't be made too cheap since fighting games need to sell enough to maintain server costs
if they're so much cheaper to make why are they selling for the same price as everything else and then charging extra for cosmetics
18k is a lot for an 1v1 multiplayer game.
?steam numbers for console games

Gamepass canibalizing sales.
It's not cannibalizing anything, they struck a deal with Atlus

Cow
Imagine paying 70 bucks for a REMAKE of a fricking PERSONA game. LOL holy shit.
wow a game with hundreds of hours of content. there are much worse games that cost 70$..
100h worth of cutscenes isn't content.
yes it is you moronic subhuman ape.
watching cutscenes isn't gameplay and thus = not content
FES is free to emulate, is harder, has better music and you don't have to buy the epilogue unlike the demake.
p3r looks better. has better combat, has better voice acting, has better dungeon crawling, has better item availability, and content.

Is this a bad sign? I'm thinking of buying it.
No, Relink just has anomalously high concurrent use for something vaguely categorized as a jrpg.

LMAO

If DD2 won't break 1 mil within first 2 weeks I will be surprised.

Not many JRPG players there tbh.
Console sales heavily lean towards P3R, PS5 especially.
Is relink really that good?
yes
Its the only thing barely monster hunter-like until wilds in 2025
Yeah. It reminds me of the PS Vita days when every other game for the first 2 years of its release were monster hunter clones. I miss that small era
Yes because it's censored so you're supporting trans rights by playing it.

sure, but there arent better versions of the Granblue game.
Turn-based is rarely good and it's usually a TBS. I can't think of one good turn-based RPG.
Persona 3 is a Demake, that's why it is flopping.
>You cannot remove Gran from the party
Fastest refund of my frickin life lmao imagine forcing people to play online just to play who they want
Your dyslexia has beaten you again. I'd say go and read the message prompt again in regards to having Gran in your party but you already refunded lol
Because it's not a dogshit remake of an 18 year old game sold at 70 fricking dollars:
Why did you link to your own thread?
Zoomers like that endgame bullshit
have zoomers ever even heard of granblue?
>have zoomers heard of a game that came out in fricking 2014
You are old dude. You are not the demographic.
>keep playing over and over
>still not dropping what i need
end me
I will never play JRPGs that are set in that gay medieval larp theme. Its always so gay. Setting doesnt fit at all with the uwuu shit
What setting does fit uwuu content?
Japan.
Chinks and their treadmill
Granbluegays have been too uppity.
NYOOOOO
>Bombs in Japan
>Explodes everywhere else
Japanese devs should just stop releasing games in Japan at this point.
Anon it's sold out that's why it can't sell.
Except this keeps happening. The only games that they buy over there are MH, Mario, and Pokemon, and those games sell millions upon millions in Japan. Almost every other franchise sells under 50k.
Everyone laugh at Final Fantasy.
Why? Nobody played it on Steam.
Arise also did quite well in China afaik, which is odd since it‘s very much a console franchise.
Bug men love mash button to win.
brutal mogging
RelinkGODS MY KNEELS
yakuza shit barely hit 1M while being on last gen consoles. FFVIIR sold 5 million copies on one console
15 is good
16 is bad
simple as
Absolute nonsense, walk off a cliff with such moronic taste
tbf Final Fantasy doing shit on PC is due to Square Enix being moronic with exclusivity deals. They would do big numbers if they released them day 1 on Steam.
correct. will never own a conbutthole, and by the time it came to pc iv already seen a playthrough of it, and no reason to buy it
Chinks and asiatics. Also P3R is a remake of a game most people have already played on the PS2, PS3 or P3P on PC and is not like P3R is offering a radically new experience either. Although Relink it's kind of a shit game to be honest but the GranBlue brand is big in Asia.
GBF is proof you don’t need the western audience to do well anymore, Sega shilled the frick out of Yakuza 8 and it still only hit 40k
>t.
It was also the most successful launch ever for the series. I think we have a misleading impression of how big the series is because it's popular in online gamer circles.
>on par with arise
Ff7 is the highest grossing game in the entire series
Yes, and that doesn't contradict what I wrote.
Relink is a new game people have been waiting for for over 5 years now.
P3 is a game from 2006 that has had 2 re-releases and that people are playing for the nth time.
also you can't frick akihiko
>gachagays can't admit the game numbers are almost entirely due to China and their obsession with actions rpgs and massive endgame farming.
>Still coping
That's too damn bad shazam, I'm sorry for your loss. Better luck next time.
>It broke 100,000 players
Yes, I think everyone is pretty surprised. I wasn't expecting it to beat Persona and Yakuza in usage even if P3 is a remake of a remake of a remake.
Only MHW and Elden Ring managed to each those digits. Granblue reaching 6 digits is huge. The 7 year dev hell was worth it.
Im not playing it because im afraid of seeing one of my childhood games being pozzed to hell and back.
Persona is a Playstation series. That's where people play it.
>How come new game that got shilled by streamers is outselling a remake that wasn't as hard advertised?
talk about an obvious question.
>shilled by streamers
Youre acting as if P3R wasnt shilled to hell and back. Literally only D tier youtubers shilled Relink and were actual #ads. Asmongold just picked it up on a whim, and the 50% of the people who play Relink havent even heard of the guy.
>outselling a remake that wasn't as hard advertised
Anon, they had time square ads for P3R
Are we dick comparing which game has worse advertisement now?
there are far more moronic gacha players in the world than there are people with discerning taste who want good games
persona doesn't have draphs
>Lancelot su-AAACK!
Persona 3 is remake shit
Game's surprisingly good. It has everything going against it, being delayed several time and having a lot of issues during production, being a pc release of a console game by a Japanese studio, being a JRPG in general, yet somehow miraculously it's just fun and runs well.
I forgot to end my text with #ad
Sorry
Relink has shit playable characters and phoned in endgame content, not buying it.
I'm playing Persona 3 on Game Pass because it's literally 1/70th of the price
The real question is why so many morons actually fricking bought it at 10 dollars over full price
why the frick would anyone pay 70 for a remake
who honestly gives a shit about this? it really is true that you guys dont actually play videogames
I bought both. I can play P3R at any time but I want to enjoy the multiplayer endgame of GBFR while the iron is hot
One's a remake.
The other is a Monster Hunter-like game, but with a full RPG on top of it to unlock the MH game.
>really lazy and cheap monster hunter clone does gang busters
Yet they will still copy Palworld. The message is clear. People want Korean grind in their game
This game really scratches that PSO itch that MH never quite did for me. I like anime and the fact that MH tries so hard to be grounded in realism is just simply unappealing to me, so I'm super happy to have a better and more accurate spiritual successor to PSO in the form of Granblue. Really happy that it's doing so well, too.
I'm thinking about getting Granblue or Helldivers 2. Which one should I get?
I dont think I have ever loved a game more.
Might be due to the nostalgia from playing the gacha back in the day but the fact that this game captured every single feeling the original world had, truly captivating. The art style and the environments aren't something you will see anywhere else
yall better know after relink success we might see more coop jrpg's are you guys ready for that
They better have some better localization and no censorship then. Granblue Relink is absolutely excellent and fun to play but that's DESPITE the censorship and localization. The localizers tried so hard to ruin this game with a bad dub, awful subs, and moronic censorship but it's going strong anyway.
Granblue has censorship? What did they change?
>Granblue has censorship? What did they change?
there were 6 trans characters that were removed from the western version
Nothing. The localisation was done in-house.
They gave deep black shorts to every female character wearing a skirt. Narmaya shows less sideboob etc. Just a bunch of changes to make characters show less skin.
Definitely Americans are to blame for this.
They gave Djeeta, Ferry and Cag spats and now people can't stop crying because they can't look up underage girls' skirts.
surely Relink mogging XVI will make Squeenix do better with the Final Fantasy franchise
schizo
only japanese boomers care about famitsu
>Tekken 8 at number 4
>[PS5] Tekken 8 (Bandai Namco, 01/26/24) – 20,516 (New)
yeah no, who cares what famitsu thinks lol.
People who want character switching should kill themselves. It just makes it a soulless slop without any character depth
why doesn't persoyna just make an action game?
shatlus can only make menu simulators
why dont you play a different game? if you dont like something just move on dont try to ruin it for everyone else, thats woman behaviour
>70$ for a remaster
wtf is up with that shit
No yuri no buy
Relink is a new game with roughly 8 years of hype and a gacha sloppa audience while Persona 3 is a shit remake being sold for 70 dollars.
Now go look at Versus numbers.
Dead genre. It's like being shocked that a Granblue FPS fails. You're severely brain damaged if you think this action RPG that's been hyped for years doing well is a surprise. Gacha whales are subhuman and aren't even sentient.
Gamepass
Granblue has a huge fanbase of gachagays, and the game seems more approachable for randoms because it doesn't have the number 3 in the title.
Persona 3 is £60. That's absurd, especially for a glorified visual novel.
70 dollars for an atlus asset flip is fricking insane, i don't know what they were thinking. if it was 40 bucks it would 5x the numbers. i don't care to look it up but for sure there is scummy DLC day 1 as well. they're just gays man
What assets?
Setting aside the fact that all companies recycle whenever possible because that is how all sane businesses operate.
>Setting aside the fact that all companies recycle whenever possible because that is how all sane businesses operate.
false you dumber Black person. have a nice day. so glad we get to watch persona die in real time
>so glad we get to watch persona die in real time
It’s the biggest launch of an Atlus game on Steam ever.
concession accepted
>How is Granblue Relink beating Persona 3 so badly?
It sold a lot in China.
Because p3r has removed content. Its not a remake, it is just another version of p3. There are now 3 versions of p3 you need to play in order to experience everything.
moron
One is a new game and a pretty good one the other is the worst version of persona 3 that exists and an embarrassment in all categories.
Okay Chang
Because it has Katalina and P3 doesn't, simple as
Relink is more fun to play and has co-op
yeah~
https://twitter.com/SteamDB/status/1754792054784221330
How many fricking times can you play Persona 3
It wasn't even that amazing the first time
unironically because the P3 remake didn't include the female protag.
I have no idea I know that steam has an anti “review bombing” mechanism but it doesn’t make sense? Maybe it’s different fan bases? Us persona fans we have standards and since the game has a woke localization we boycotted it, however granblue fans are gays troonys abad morons so they consume gay censored slop?
>steam
kek
Literally the only place with real time player numbers visible for all.
>B-but on consoles....
No numbers, no proof, no nothing. An IGN article quoting a tweet is the best guess you'll ever get for numbers outside of Steam.
>not even grub players are buying relink
Try again when it sell more than the Persona dancing games.
I need to go hit the gym but I just can't playing quick matches, send help.
coop game
fun with friends
also monhun
Persona is a ps series. The fan base is on consoles. Granblues fans are on a gacha you can play on pc
