It's the best blizzard release since the original
I paid 19 and I got a few weekends out of it. But nothung has changed aside from endgame being alightly different

terror zones are the new exp grind zones and they rotate around
They buffed a lot of class skills to make them viable. For instance, Druids can now summon all of their animals (both wolf types and bear) instead of only one type at a time. New runewords. New charms that let you break immunities (physical, cold, magic, etc). Terror Zones act as a new form of endgame, making 'terrorized zones' rotate every hour from a variety of areas in the game (Blood Moor, Arcane Sanctuary, etc), where enemies are scaled to your level +2 (if you're level 80, they're level 82).
It's honestly really good besides the visuals for the women

Necromancer is the only one who is mostly fine.
game feels different with the new patch updates.
there's a lot more variety in builds now.
it's pretty fun on ladder resets, would recommend
standard (x 4 y) trade lobbies are still a totally viable way to move items around without having to use discord or the d2jsp botnet, everything is more or less rune economy trades outside of high profile (shako etc) items
runs like shit from my experience, still a great game that looks good though. Just was ruined for me when I entered a portal into Duriel's room and was dead before the game finished loading, since it doesn't pause even in single player.

Sure if you like D2. It's the same one button spam, easy mode, braindead AI companion, farm boss 4000 times for something not shit game. More enjoyable than PoE to be fair.

False. It runs smooth on my very shitty laptop. Great great. Definitely worth a 20. I got stuck at that fricking underground demon playing a two handed battle mage.
how shit is the switch version? Is it ok if i only play singleplayer
i read the switch version requires you to phone home to the server every couple of day/weeks or it stops working, even if you want to play singleplayer
not much of a problem, just want to play it on my bed/at my work bed
i was thinking about getting it for switch but idk. I'm a boomer but I never played the OG.

Of course. It's the exact same game with a few things extra added in, patches to buff underused abilities, and that's it.
