I cannot believe people genuinely like this but thought Darktide was bad. Darktide got a lot of shit for being a fully functional game. So it had a shitty cash shop and you start with ugly ass skins if you don't pay for the more expensive version. And the cash shop prices things such that you can never really use up all of your store credits. If you play a game long term like Guild Wars 2, FF online, WOW, Waarframe, the cash shop prices are a moot point. You'll always buy more gems/plat or whatever later and you can convert them to gold/credits so who gives a shit. Darktide took one from MMO's. It's really not that big of a problem. This issue is that it has a lot less content than MMO's so a similar cash shop was kind of bold. Darktide is a 60-200 hour game not a 4000 hour game. Not without 10x more levels. So the solution as just don't buy shit then who cares. You can't see yourself most of the time so it didn't actually matter. Oh no they only delivered 72 of the 85 guns they promised!
Starfield had no guns, cost as much as the more expensive Darktide, and gave you nothing extra for it, and it only has a few skins and they all look almost the same. It's just bland and boring. Gameplay loops on POIs are the same every time. Same enemies in the same places. Frick.
I'm not saying Darktide was great, but if it's a 6/10 then Starfield is a fricking 3.
