Yeah that's what drives home the male experience. Protecting something that you want to frick/protecting something precious so that the future can be guaranteed. I
Modern gaming is dead to me and I don't even care if "w*man ugly", it's because of this graphics-movie bullshit that's been growing since the mid-7th and 8th gen. The games make you look cool but don't let you BE cool. Frick The Last of Us and frick the morons who think a "story" makes a game instead of interactivity
I haven't, got turned off by the constant crouch-walk and scripted sequences I saw on YouTube gameplays. Are the fights at least as good as something like Watch Dogs 2 on hard? Like you have to position yourself properly and use some creative strategies.
>Like you have to position yourself properly and use some creative strategies.
no, you can just spam dodge i-frames and melee everything, don't even need to use guns.
it's like what people who hate dark souls think dark souls is.
so you didn't play the game and only watched youtuber gays? youtube gamers are borderline braindead and always play as safe as possible. the game always gives you the option to go into any scenario guns blazing rambo style if you want. if you've only watched others play then you can't have an opinion
>I saw on YouTube
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
What? Don't you look up gameplays before buying something, Anon? Yes YouTubers are fricking moronic but you should go assuming that anyway. You can still see what the game's about even when an idiot's playing it.
You watched a video by someone whos job it is to make videos as long as possible to wring out as much money as possible and thought it represented the game accurately. The only people who think this is a valid way to see how games play are people who don't play games. Go back to YouTube and stay there. We don't want you here.

I think it's valid enough if I can see that the game doesn't interrupt you every 5 seconds for cutscenes and the gameplay looks well designed enough. Again, I said that I go thinking a moron's playing the game and that's enough for me to judge if it's worth a try. I play games so I do know how it will (kinda) play out by looking at it. Unfortunately YouTubers and maybe Streamers are the best way to judge without buying since games don't have demos anymore.

You don't sound remotely convinced of your own view. You know watching pewdiepie run against a wall for 14 minutes in amnesia isn't representative of the game. Only real way to experience a game is to play it.

That's the point, the "valid enough" is to filter out crap and stuff I definitely won't like.

No Anon, you haven't gotten me into a corner, this isn't a battle of wits like it might seen in your head. It's pretty simple stuff >watch videos (note the plural) >game seems fine >buy it
Or >game seems like crap >don't buy it
I don't hate it. There are still phenomenal indies, AAs, and jap games coming out all the time. Literally just stop playing western AAA slop. The gaming scene is in an excellent place right now, and it's easier than ever to find the good shit. If you're feeling miserable looking at the state of things right now, then I don't really know what else to tell you. Stop being a paypig, stop playing games from the same dogshit companies and expecting them to somehow not be dogshit.
I guess I just hate that I fell for the "buy a new PC" meme after realizing how fricking bad all the new games are, or how badly they are optimized, or how ridiculously big they are for no reason whatsoever. Really why does every game demand mmorpg levels of disk space now kek
I don't hate modern gaming. Hate isn't the opposite of love. I've grown indifferent. People talk about having trouble playing for more than an hour, often I find myself in regards to any title failing to even make it beyond the opening titles before I've had enough. Games just don't engage me as they used to and it's got nothing to do with depression. Live a very happy life otherwise. Games are just a waste of time. I just grew bored of developers wanking off on these little ego trips we call "games".
Agree with what you said but i think the problem is that AAA games just lack soul, they feel corporate, it's hard to describe what i mean but it's the best word to describe it.
I feel genuine sorrow for anyone who spends time playing AAA slop. The gaming medium has developed to a point where you have exceptionally unique and experimental games that try something interesting.
There isn't a single AAA game that isn't a boring, safe, copy and paste of something interesting.
I'm a retro game fan as well as a general video game enthusiast. The number of titles released from 1981-2010 that I haven't played could probably last me a lifetime. That said it's not so much I hate modern games but I hate modern culture trends, and because games are so similar to movie productions just with more shafting to coders and crunch time bullshit there feels like the filth of normie culture has infected the gaming spaces inside and out. Gameplay is less of an emphisis than it was yesterday because too much attention is given to characters or story, studio composer scores have to be written by some big name like Hans Zimmer, voice actors steal media coverage just as movie stars do. It's all so tiring and it takes front stage when focusing on gameplay and fsir challenge being there. The way I see it AAA games today are >movie games with movie casts >MOBA ASSFSGGOTS, gachas, or some other form of grindfest where repetitive gameplay and collecting skins from lootboxes or microtransactions are some of thr main appeal >games made to be games but end up toddler-tier too easy (theres a difference between a QoL improvement like getting rid of a life system vs the game offering to hold your hand if you die too many times)
Sure there are some challenges and there are some soulful games that try to play fun first, but those are few and far between.
yall are grown men mad that 14 year olds dont look like anime bimbos
How is this possible that 14yo girl has hag lines?
yall are grown (but emotionally stunted) men mad that nobody likes ugly people and everyone wants to look at bautiful things
I want to frick Ellie and cum in her pusy so badly it's unreal bros. I suffer genuine existential angst that I can't do it because she's not real
Yeah that's what drives home the male experience. Protecting something that you want to frick/protecting something precious so that the future can be guaranteed. I
Why did they make her so attractive if they didn't want players to desire her, sexually?
You're a moron who'd be attracted to an extra curvy piece of driftwood.
Nah Ellie is just a megaqt
same. Imagine how tight she is.
>yall
opinion disregarded
pretty sure she was 16 in the first game
No, she was 13-14.
just say you're afraid of attractive girls, no need for all this defensiveness
I don't hate modern gaming, I just hate American culture as a whole. Especially the west coast and its influence on the rest of the world.
Amen
Not very

Have you even played tlou2? Gunfights in that game are fricking peak c**t
that gameplay is stale, scripted, on rails and slow. Its like playing a movie that plays itself half the time, that's why you like it you zoomer.
TLOU2 is the most dynamic and best excuted stealth action game ever in regards to combat and you just parrot shit you read online, bitter moron boomer
Thief The Dark Project, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
>trite setting, nondescript ugly character design, trite AAA mechanics, shit muh emotional writing, misery porn
Go to bed, zoomer

She looks like an actual human being in TLOU2
Yeah but it's a game, a work of fiction, why does it need to be so close to reality? The industry has lost touch of what makes a video game.
I only hate israelites.
I don't hate it. There are still phenomenal indies, AAs, and jap games coming out all the time. Literally just stop playing western AAA slop. I like it a lot
just wish microtransactions weren't as prevelent as they are in non-F2P titles, but besides that, it's great
Stop playing AAA games expecting anything other than stale uninspired trash with terrible writing and agenda pushing.
Play indie games, those have more replayability and have soul to them, they're smaller in scale sure but more fun nonetheless.
no, I'm not poor
You are poor in tastes
She's a boy now.
screw the game
she cute tho

Why would I waste my limited time and emotional energy hating something that's completely optional to engage with? To what end?
>How much do you hate modern gaming?
unironically I don't , there are a lot of good stuff to play out there but yes AAA shit has fallen in quality.
I don't hate modern gaming. Hate isn't the opposite of love. I've grown indifferent. Anyone got the one of her holding a basketball infront of her puss or know the creators name?
>white girl aged like milk
pretty realistic tbh
You dont find her attractive anymore now because she is of legal age? Interesting
Not much actually
I feel genuine sorrow for anyone who spends time playing AAA slop. The gaming medium has developed to a point where you have exceptionally unique and experimental games that try something interesting.
There isn't a single AAA game that isn't a boring, safe, copy and paste of something interesting.
>I don't like AAA games
So play indie games
>No! I'm not poor.
Baffling non-sequitur. Just frick off and get into reading or tabletop games then.
That's not the modern gaming, that's the wall.
