used to drop around $1,000 give or take every year on new product.
the erosion of physical media and overall drop in typical AAA stuff has resulted in a severe drop in my spending often only buying heavily discounted games or just using a subscription like gamepass to play anything new-ish.
i even play gatcha games and still don't even spend as much money as when i used to play World of Warcraft.

anyway no, it's Naruto's money. He lectures him about the 'Ninja Prohibitions' which are alcohol, pretty women, and worst of all money. He compels Naruto to leave the money under his watch and gives him an allowance, then proceeds to spend all the money on hookers and sake. Naruto yells at him in humorous fashion demanding to know 'what those prohibitions are again'.
Naruto bonks him on the head over and over again with a cooked squid shishkabab and Jiriya just keeps sputtering out sorry until the food flies out of his hand and hits a gang member's jacket, then after getting into an altercation he rasengans the guy into a water balloon stand impressing Naruto. You've seen it, we all watch the series it's probably the most balancedly decent anime.
I was rewatching it a few hours ago, I thought it was hilarious. There's something grounded about a sage who tells someone the dangers of money and hookers and then spends someone else's money on them himself.

Yes indeed, it breaks your expectations of how a sage would act. The sheer absurdity of the scene is doubled down by how Naruto also believed it and, much like the watcher, is in shock.
I give myself 50 dollars for 'play with my friends multiplayer/co-op slop' a year. Other than that I don't spend money on digital shit unless I really liked an ost for an indie game I torrented. Then i'll buy that on bandcamp or some shit or if nothing else is available I toss them some money and 'purchase' the game on whatever platform gives them the best cut, usually GoG.
Maybe $160? It's mostly 1st party Nintendo shit while everything else is pirated or I get it from sharing game pass that I don't pay for. This year so far I have only bought Tears of the Kingdom (Waste of money) and the Battle Network collection.
Usually I buy one or two games at launch and spend probably about $100 or 200 throughout the year on sales. This year I actually bought a bunch of games at launch though and bought a Switch for my sister for Christmas so I spent a frickload
I usually spend like 300-700 a year on games, however I don't upgrade my pc often, I usually get some good parts and plan to ride it out for a gen and a half. I mainly buy indies or launches for games Im excited for
Monthly 5$ fee for Honkai Star Rail, 20$ for Disney Speedstorm and I was buying steam accounts to play some uncracked games like Dead Space Remake. That's about it.
Probably like two games
Nothing, I pirate everything.
You're paying in wear and tear on your computer thanks to all those bitcoin miners
I love minors
too much but never pay full price
I pay $130 for 3 years of Gamepass and that's about it.
Pirate everything else, but there's no non-xbox games worth pirating
>if it isn't on xbox its bad
Are you completely redneck or what?
not really the inflection I think he was going for, but stay mad
>one must be mad to act this way
is this just how you cope with dissenting opinions?
>Are you completely redneck or what?
I am but that's not the point.
Xbox is the only company that puts out games worth playing nowadays.
Several thousand dollars at least. I built a whole new computer last year, so that was like 3000 that year. But in a normal year, several thousand.
jesus christ, I thought a gaming PC was like 800 buckaroobonzais
Spend?
less than 40 dollars aprox
so far this year, $0. I didn't even pirate anything I just keep playing old games because all the new ones make me sick

Wasn't he giving Naruto frick-you money to leave him (Jiraya) alone?

And what does he say?
Naruto bonks him on the head over and over again with a cooked squid shishkabab and Jiriya just keeps sputtering out sorry until the food flies out of his hand and hits a gang member's jacket, then after getting into an altercation he rasengans the guy into a water balloon stand impressing Naruto. Did you remember all that from memory or did you pull the episode up?
