How much do you think Todd regrets making this game?
The fallout show had more of a cultural impact in a week than this game in half a year. They could have made ES6 instead and be on their way to making Fallout 5 right on time to cash in on the show's popularity. Instead, they get non of that due to this failed experiment.
space 🙂
I genuinely think he regrets it and his face at the Game Awards said everything.
>The fallout show had more of a cultural impact in a week than this game in half a year
just wait till that show is half a year old. it's just the flavour of the month anon don't worry, and when the video essays come it'll be popular to hate on it.
>and when the video essays come it'll be popular to hate on it.
Posting now to say the show was always bad and my opinion wasn't formed because of a smug video essayist.
it killed his company's brand so he probably regrets it a lot
>it killed his company's brand
>implying white cucks won't eat up his next instalment of elder scrolls and fallout
how old are you
cucks still buy blizzslop year after year, but the pool of willing cucks also gets smaller
look at this dude
he doesn't regret making it all because he never wanted to make a game, he wanted to make a product. this product helped him make deals with microsoft and grow his company. that product produced an incredible amount of revenue, allowing for more product to be produced. he got everything he wanted cuz he never cared if there was a good game in there anywhere
its always funny to me when you think game execs want to make games. how many examples do you need before you realize thats not at all what they care about?
thats not his job moron he works at bethesda game studios not zenimax
Todd probably doesn't think about this game at all.
>he thinks Todd had a choice with either of them
Its a shit game, an ultimate failure.
>New Space IP from Bethesda
Has one of the worst exploration they ever crafted
One of the worst stories they have ever written
One of the worst lore/universes they have ever built
Terribly buggy and glitchy
Shilled by Phil.L.Spencer as the equivalent to Oblivion yet turned out nothing close to it.
Doesnt actually take advantage or use its space system and physics well
A game like Outer Wilds made by a small team absolutely decimates it
Mass Effect demolishes it
Starfield turned out to be just another No Man's Sky
Todd Howard embarsses himself and his team again
Emil (The Redditor) continues to gaslight and cope on Twitter
This game was a massive disappointment.
I have no faith left for TES 6
d3's not that bad bro..
Yes. Yes it is, maybe even worse than that
>witcher 3 in god tier
post discarded
>morrowind, planescape, witcher 3, mass effect are higher than arcanum and fallout 2
siiiiiiiiiiiiiigh
>shit out by outsourced indian labor for programming, modeling
>handled by middle management from California
>it made them money
>normies don't care about a game being bad and just endlessly move on to the next flavor of the month
Starfield is basically the test pilot for all videogames going into the future.
ES6 is going to be trash anyways, we need a complete collapse of the industry for anything to change at this point
Cute little feller
ok there's no way the claim of him being 6'2 is real right
>70k playing Fallout 4 right now
>40k playing FO76
>20k playing New Vegas
>6k playing frickin Fallout 3
…
>5k playing Starfield
Haha frick dude
My only major gripe with Starfield are the "Nasapunk" visuals or whatever filter they are using. Just a little bit more vibrancy and I'd be even happier with it. I'm not talking what NMS and games like that to for, just get rid of the whatever filter they use, and I'll be good.
The problem is the NASApunk shit is a tiny fraction of the game and there is no aesthetic cohesion whatsoever. Its completely moronic.
>dude, what if, like, there was a cowboy planet
Its painfully bad
>dude, what if, like, there was a cowboy planet
I kind of think that's a cool idea, but everyone has their own thoughts on the game. My only real issue is the visuals are too muted for me and I blame that more on the filter. If they cut that down a down a bit or just let me toggle it on and off, I'd be fine.
>My only real issue is the visuals are too muted for me and I blame that more on the filter.
Have you tried using a reshade?
Admittedly no. Is there a "best" one to use or does it matter?
>Is there a "best" one to use
I'm not really sure, I've been using this one and I like it better than the vanilla visuals
https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/166
I'll give this a shot when I get back to my house. I also just found one called "Rudy Reshade" too, so if the Quantum one doesn't do it for some reason, I'll at least have a back up. Thank you anon.
Todd now has a frame of reference for just how badly he needs to frick up before his moronic cultists finally put their foot down and only the die hards remain.
He’s sad it didn’t sell, but he can now confidently shit up ES6 while knowing when to pull back.
Starfield is a massive success.
It's a comfy boomer-core game. Tood knows his audience.
Cope.
Now THATS what I call cope.
I don't understand how they thought making every single NPC unlikable and soulless was a good idea. I didn't give a shit about anything I was doing because the game seemed like it didn't either.
He was ashamed of his persiflage, his boasting, his pretensions of creativity and talent; he was sorry about his lies, his dispassion, his inability to express what he now believed was the case- that he truly regretted making Starfield, that he hated the game as much as anybody and wished its creation hadn't been necessary. Even as he circulated his studio he knew that the smiles disappeared when he passed by. He received so many menacing tweets that he could read them without any reaction except curiosity. He kept to his apartment all day, listening to Fleetwood Mac's Rumours, hearing his destiny in every chorus of Little Lies. Chris Avellone came up from Bachelor at one P.M. on the 8th. He had no grand scheme. No strategy. No agreement with higher authorities. Nothing but a vague longing for glory, and a generalized wish for revenge against Todd Howard. Chris Avellone would be ordered to serve a life sentence in the Washington Penitentiary for second degree murder. Over seven thousand signatures would eventually be gathered in a petition asking for Avellone's release, and in 2027, Governor Bob Ferguson would pardon the man. There would be no eulogies for Todd, no articles would declare him La Creatividad, no people would crowd the streets in the rain to see his funeral cortege, no biographies would be written about him, no children named after him, no one would ever pay twenty-five cents for the privilege of being banned by him on Twitter. The shotgun would ignite, and Kimberly Howard would scream, but Todd Howard would only lay on the floor and look at the ceiling, the light going out of his eyes before he could find the right words.
The main plot has a ton of biblical implications to it, I can see how it could easily be overlooked by anyone who doesn't give a shit about religious lore. The Starborn ship is literally one of those biblically accurate angels with the single eye, wings and a halo. lol
>The Emissary: "Be not afraid."
>The Hunter: "lol. lmao"
>todd todd todd, todd todd todd.
meds
Well, the game is awesome so I doubt he regrets it. I think the dlc will also fix a LOT of things.
