Games?
I want to frick them
You should watch steven universe
I did. I wanted to frick Amethyst
I buy games maybe once or twice a year max.
inside out is not that bad
Cars 2 was fine, Inside Out was good.
pixar lost its appeal once cgi became so mainstream that any normie can produce youtube cgi trash.
Agree but toy story 3 and coco are good though
I'm still mad about lightyear. I half thought a traditional space adventure movie might be a genre that'd be hard to frick up. Seriously, what's the point of the whole Zurg twist? Would it have killed them to just make a villain who wants to conquer the universe without it being some kind of dumb subversive twist?
>Seriously, what's the point of the whole Zurg twist?
spoil the twist for me.
Buzz is Zerg from the future like wtf, because of his robots catchphases
Lasseter would never approve of this.
wtf. the whole thing about zurg was that hes supposed to be buzz's father. wtf is nupixar fricking doing
No. Zurgs whole thing was that he was supposed to be a shallow antagonist made to sell toys alongside Buzz. Making him something more than a star wars reference was smart
why does it have to be a star wars reference. what was the whole point of that then? you cant just pull back and say
>no zurg just said that for no reason hurdur
The joke was it was a star wars reference except the second buzz developed a good relationship with his father.
I can get if they didn't want to make him a walking Darth Vader parody. But making him Buzz from the future just seems like an awkward concept imo. If they wanted to give him some depth, I'm sure there's some other way they could've gone about it.
It works in the context of the movie and buzz's arc. As for an ongoing antagonist goes, that remains to be seen as the movie implies the REAL Zurg will get involved in one way or another going forward
There's this whole time dilation thing where a few hours for Buzz on a mission can be years and years for home base. Buzz accidentally got everyone stranded on an alien planet, and part of his motiviation is trying to fix it. Zurg it turns out is Buzz from a future where he kept trying to fix things and got evil.
Which makes the line from Toy Story 2 where Zurg tells Buzz he's his father not make any sense. The writers tried to cop out and say that Andy's toys were based on the old (non-canon) cartoon. They really wanted to swear by the plot point of this movie being the movie Andy saw in 1995 that made him want to buy a Buzz Lightyear toy.
>Which makes the line from Toy Story 2 where Zurg tells Buzz he's his father not make any sense.
Good. Shallow star wars references were stupid in 2002 and even stupider in 2022
>Buzz's over the top reaction
>the two of them playing catch right after
It was a based joke back then
>the two of them playing catch right after
Frick I forgot about this
Okay that's actually a solid bit
>Zurg it turns out is Buzz from a future where he kept trying to fix things and got evil.
I hated this in WiR 2 and I hate it here.
>There's this whole time dilation thing
heh
It flopped
Basically Zurg is buzz from an alternate future.
I think it was pretty clearly done as sequel bait. Emperor Zurg isn't even in the movie technically, and the Zurg we DO have just "borrowed" the tech from the real Zurg Empire.
As far as directions they can take the franchise with that setup, things could be a lot worse.
Luca is better than most of the movies on the second row.
Luca is mediocre at best and a boring slog at worst. I can't blame you because it's easy to forget how much better Pixar's old shit is because it's been so long since they actually made something decent.
Inside Out was nice
Soul through Lightyear were all better than the entire middle row. Frick off with this nonsense
>cars 2 up top
opinion automatically worthless declineshill
Luca was good and Onward okay.
The decline shelf has barely more good movies than the bottom one
Inside Out was good though.
Why were MU, Finding Dory and Incredibles 2 so lame? It's not even a matter of striking gold twice, these movies are abysmally inferior to the first entries.
Cashgrab sequels.
i felt so betrayed by the incredibles 2. fricking nupixar writers
I know it's a meme to suggest every movie sequel released years and years after the original should be a time skip, but I2 was one of the few examples of something where they really should've just done that. It kind of helps that was actually in the cards once during development. The final movie was just so damn forgettable compared to the first one.
I feel like they wanted I2 to take place immediately after the first movie because they wanted to show how the family reacts to learning about Jack Jack's powers.
I'll admit that seeing their reactions (and Edna's) was fun, but the whole rest of the movie would have benefited from a time skip.
The major problem with I2 is how it repeats story beats top to bottom from the first movie. It feels more like a remake than a sequel.
>a bunch of childrens' movies tier list
Ill take your word on it as I don't watch that shit.
Pixar died when they were sold off to Disney. This is literally what the picture is representing, as they were sold off in 2006 and Up was their last movie being developed before then. It'll only keep getting worse.
Cars sucks
Toy Story 3 should be bumped up to Golden Age. It wasn't as solid as the first two, but it made for a good bookend for the franchise, and it was still a great movie.
Monster University wasn't that bad.
but what movie would you say showed Pixar to be not as infallible as they appeared and ruined their streak of perfect hits?
Cars was the first bad movie, but it was an anomaly which could be overlooked.
TS3, Cars 2, Brave, MU - this is a losing streak, now.
Cars is the weakest movie on the top row, but I still say it's good.
Cars 2 is the first bad (maybe mediocre. I haven't seen it in a long time.) movie they made.
Probably $40 on average. I usually buy a new console game every couple of months, and on occasions a cheaper game on Steam.
I think Luca is underrated. I will probably get hated for this: I also think Wall-E is overrated.
>wall-e that low
Just a reminder that you can find movies like TS3, Inside Out, and Coco to be alright but it's still a complete and total decline from The Golden Age in general where every single movie is rewatchable about 100 times over and has an understated maturity while the others just simply do not and feel produced in a lab.
A lot of rewatchability is based off your nostalgia, but I just can not see the kids growing up with Turning Red and Onward and being able to objectively say that those two have better writing than the likes of The Incredibles, Wall-E, or Monsters, INC.
>3D animation killed the golden age of Disney's animation studio
None of this shit was worth the loss.
About 60, maybe? Usually one 'big' game and something indie/on sale. I honestly should cut back, between work and gym I'm not playing most of them enough to justify the purchases.
Man, Pixar are just kind of overrated in general, honestly.
I actually like Braves first half but it goes to shit when the mom turns into a fricking bear. Also Cars is part of the decline age, it was only made because Lasseter was a fan of Nascar.
turning red is a good movie tho
Pedo
>bugs life & cars in Golden age
>Inside out in decline
>bugs life bad
i will kill you
The only real did in the bottom row is Lightyear.
Soulless
i'd spend so much to frick the brown girl
Uh Anon, the fact that you think that's a lust provoking image says a lot more about you...
>finding any of them lust provoking
Sure I suppose, if you had shit taste that is.
about three fiddy
Why would you pay for vidya? I maybe buy one game in a blue moon to play in coop with a friend if there's denuvo, but that's it.
At most 2 bucks, averaged over a year, and it already makes me feel like a dumb paypig.
Usually about $15 on mobile and $50 at the arcade.
My dopamine receptors are too friend for traditional packaged games.
There is too much porn for this movie
where
Thanks for reminding me that picrel exists. I hope a disgruntled troony employee goes postal at all of the Pixar offices.
Nothing. i only buy games in bulk during big sales.
>bulk
>big
Maybe 30?
>each month
I buy maybe 2 games a year
>$10 a day on arcade rhythm games
so around $300
It's insane how fricking ugly that movie is.
This movie was pure sovl. I can't believe the hate it got. It's funny and beautiful.
Ppl unironically went
>nooooo you can't have cringy giirlss!!
>tamppoons?? aaaaaaahhh I'm going crazyyyyy!!!
>aaah noo you cant have multiple races in a cosmopolitan city like torontooo nooooooo!!!!!
Apparently only Asian women who were teens in the early 2000s gets it. Especially with the sneaking out to watch concerts bit.
For everyone else it just flies over their heads
You're a pedophile
You just want to frick underage children. That's literally the only reason why anyone on Ganker liked this movie.
No it appeals to me because I'm an immigrant with a tiger mom as well
Dog fricker and closet child rapist, wow you are scum.
awooga BTW
how many kids are furries because of this now
I've never seen turning red but this music track is fricking sick
?t=34
100 reais
Zero. I have a simp who gives me money to ERP, I spend that money on video games.
Now post them naked and getting fricked
10 or 20 bucks, except in the rare case where a Nintendo Direct has good games, I spent around $200 a couple months back preordering Live a Live, Xenoblade 3, and FE 3 Hopes, I also bought 13 sentinels.
I think you're all misunderstanding that in-universe Lightyear is a livr action reboot of the Buzz Lightyear franchise. Andy, being done with College probably goes to see it and thinks it's meh. For the longest time I actually thought the movie would end with Buzz and the toys sitting around the TV watching the movie, and Buzz making a sly remark.
But the actual truth isPixar doesn't even care and it's not canon or otherwise, just a miscalculated milking of a popular character
>Pixar made a bad movie on purpose so watchers would have the same feeling Andy felt in-universe
genius.
I could actually respect that if they made a bad movie as a joke just to get Tim Allen in for 5 minutes to make a sarcastic remark at the film when it pulls out to the toys.
Lightyear is shit because Chris Evans can't act and can only do the same boring, milquetoast Captain America face. He has more personality playing a goofy, obnoxious Human Torch from the F4 movie than anything else. The supporting cast is all quirky morons and the "twist" is even more moronic.
$0
Imagine growing up watching that
About $15. I only buy games on sale.
it's literally impossible to make that goblin look sexy
Looks sexy to me
Well then you are lost
You can choose beautiful 2d Japanese artstyle and yet somehow, you choose to jerk off to one of the ugliest movies to date drawn by a fricking westoid.

On an unrelated note, does anyone fricking hate bug's life? I wanted nothing more than for those grasshoppers to slaughter the ants. Ungrateful c**ts.
Antz was better.
200 to 500
More than I spend on liquor.
>chinknadian "artstyle"
soulless
yep
On average over a year, probably like $20.
Why did this movie cause such a shitstorm?
It has numerous pedophile undertones, the characters are uglier than the average poster here, it has CalArts bean mouths and Disney itself saw it would bomb so they reduced it to D+.
>It has numerous pedophile undertones
what?? lemme guess you lhaven't even seen it lmao. It's made by women you schizo frick
pedophiles loved turning red, didnt ya
