How much of my wiener will be forced into the Sphinx buttehole?
Probably just useless time savers like they always do. Mtx are reserved mostly for mutt fighter and monster hunter (wilds will be grotesque).
First release of DD, (not DD:DA) had multiple small MTX/dlcs for armour sets etc, not just RC for real money. They bundled all that stuff into DD:DA. I expect they will do that again with MTX for armour sets, weapons and probably MH style visual fluff like extra tattoos etc for the character editor.
Might blow a fuse if they try to add vocations as MTX instead of being part of a large expansion DLC.
Anon please shut the frick up, don't bring that shit into existence
I assume you mean the vocations part. I do think it's unlikely... but wouldn't totally rule it because capcom gonna capcom if they think they can get away with it. Just look at the new tekken.
most likely you will get MH styled expansions and then you will get the big re-release with all dlc.
At most you can buy RC for real money, they already did that in DD1. You can also buy Red Orbs for real money in DMC5 but it's such a laughably bad purchase considering how easy they are to get in it.

japanese TV is so fricking weird
Does anyone speak rune?
At 1:29+ he runs through the town with his weapon drawn, chases an npc etc. But then they cut the gameplay and the hosts keep side-eye looking off camera to the right. Based on their body language I feel that he wasn't supposed to do that and someone off-camera told them off for it.
Maybe he ran the risk of being confronted by guards, and we know the guards have spears, and if they fought it woulda shown the spear moveset which they haven't revealed yet.
Pawns looking really cute.
>2000 for a night at the Inn
Expensive. This makes me wonder if we're going to get our own permanent residence somewhere as well. I know its unlikely but I like the idea of the Arisen being gifted a small abandoned fort somewhere, and then being able to fix it up by paying for upgrades.
>Pawns you favorite could hang out at it when not in your party
>NPCs could come and visit you there with dynamic quests
>Roaming enemies could attack it if they pass by
>Get your own helper NPCs like herbalists, blacksmiths, a few guards etc
>Beloved could move there
>A round table room, not sure what it could do mechanically but round tables are just cool. simple as
It's probably to encourage camping.
possible, but the camping kit is heavy + you can only do it in pre-determined locations which is lame AF and very anti-adventure feels. There's no reason to not let the player camp anywhere they want as long as:-
>There's enough room for the camping kit to be placed down
>there's no enemies within a certain radius of where the player is trying to make camp
That would be far more immersive and adventurey for the player.
>>anon has never been camping
you can't "just" camp anywhere, even in real life anon
been camping a few times but that's irrelevant.
>actually defending arbitrary objectively bad game design decisions
Stop it. You gain nothing nothing from being like this. There's objectively no valid reason for restricting the players freedom like this.
>it's objectively bad because I say so
predetermined save points have been integral to game design since the arrival of games that were more complex than tetris.
multiple open world games let you make camp anywhere you want so that's an irrelevant point. Even skyim lets you do it.
Can you give any real, valid reason as to why restricting player camping to pre-determined spots is better than letting the player pick a valid spot with enough flat space, clear the area of enemies, and then make camp at will? In what way is the former more interactive, immersive, and better at creating a feeling of adventure than the latter? I don't think you can without being disingenuous.
>Even skyim lets you do it.
ah yes, Skyrim, the apex of game design
the only reason Skyrim lets you do it is because Bethesda is too lazy to have their designers comb a map and setup well thought-out points
It can be easily abused if you can camp with such freedom.
It's duke Edmun-flation
That's what they get for choosing a leader based off of their ability to make it look like they slew a lizard
>inns still have a room with a bunch of beds instead of a bunch of separate rooms
it literally doesn't matter in the slightest but my autism is satisfied
1:20:00 you ogre.
>Only 9 slots for Vocations
Its so fricking over jesus fricking christ.
I just hope they'll be a pointless as DMC5's or RE4R's.
They probably will be. I remember original DD's being literal nothing besides some gimmicky gear, and a bunch of crap you just got from playing the game anyway.
if it's going to be something like rift crystals then why bother?
Some people seem willing to pay for that kind of pointless shit, when you can get it normally by just playing the game, Capcom is very much willing to offer that if people are willing to pay, and I can't blame them...
If morons are willing to piss away money like that then I'm all for companies profiting this way.
Not sure, but if some moron with spare cash wants to take one for the team and make them focus on useless stuff as their MTX policy again, I'm all for it.
It makes money, people are moronic in general but theres already some who have grown up thinking this is something you just do with video games, pay for pointless shit.
Companies know this and use it at every possible opportunity because no matter what theres always someone who will buy that shit.
It absolutely won't just be RC. I wish it was just RC. You can tell a lot of people on Ganker didn't play DD before DD:DA because the original release had a load of MTX packs for weapons/armor/quests/cosmetics.
>loads
>quests
You do know anons could just look up the wiki page and see exactly what they were right?
He probably means the those notice board quests "under a different sky" or whatever
"loads" as in all the MTX content packs combined. Just looking at weapons and armor, there was 24 weapons and 43 armor pieces locked behind MTX before DD:DA released.
Because there's always someone willing to throw down money. Might as well make it an option and see how many whales come for it.
Hopefully it's what DD1 was like AT MOST.
Also I can't wait to grapple the sphynx's breasts.
I'm pirating it and getting all for free, LMAO get fricked game buyers
...after 2 years when denuvo is removed.
I played DDDA years after it was released and still had fun though??
That's fine. I also won't be buying DD2 on PC until denuvo is removed, on principle.
ill play it my partners console until then
>partners
You mean like a friend's console? or are you like... GAY?
Well, based on Street Fighter 6, they will sell costumes for 10-15€ each.
probably some costumes for pawns but thats about it
Do you think Dragon's Dogma will do more Collaborations?
Monster Hunter Rise/Sunbreak barely got any.
>those denuvo teeth
You wouldn't.
Do we have any word on if there will be multiple save slots?
At worst they charge for armor sets that were cut from the game. Most likely they just sell easy mode DLC like the orb packs from DMC4/5 that let you skip some of the tedium/grinding.
original sold armour set DLC so it's probably likely, not just "at worst". pre-DD:DA had:-
>2 weapon packs
>3 armour set packs
>2 cosmetic packs
>4 quest packs
>some other minor stuff
Each pack was like $2 - $2.99 each. When DD:DA released they were all included in it and the MTX purchases were shutdown.
Are they bringing back ferrystones?
DD1's Fast Travel sucked ass. At least Dark Arisen gave us the Eternal Ferrystone and more Portcrystals.
Yes
Yes, ferrystones are still in, but now you can fast travel by riding on oxcarts, you can also just "slow" travel, by just waiting in real time until the oxcart gets to its destination.
Vocations will be locked as a pre-order bonue.

You're supposed to stay right behind her without sprinting.
yeah I leaped the frickin house and left that bowlcut in the dust. Can't believe there's no other way to get a legit gold idol.
if you didn't save right before her sidequest you're pretty much tough out of luck and you have to do it in the next cycle
Or he could just swap to hard mode or from normal back to hard to reset his quest progress without losing his stats or items.
