It's all the eyes and actually to this game's credit (that i never played so i am assuming these are pictures from the game and not renders) it's the only game besides Ninja Gaiden / DOA5/VV that nailed the "shining" eye effect that make eyes look alive. That's accomplished through making the surface reflective or "moist" to avoid the dead, dry, glass eye look and and correct color grading in the white of the eye. Good job, i don't know if all characters are like this but they nailed it with the frog. It's something practically everyone else fricks up.

- Gale is an absolute turbo homosexual in the first half of the game and calms down towards the end

- The Steel Foundry was my favorite dungeon, but I wish I figured out how to do it without combat, snuck around the first half, spoke with the gnomes and then did Iron Throne, setting off the revolt

It affects some skill checks which are rolled passively (like religion and nature checks) so having an extra shot at them is helpful. Also if you make Frog an Eldritch Knight, she benefits from higher INT.

Honestly I went with EK and didn't actually need INT with the setup she had. The only spell she has that benefits from it is Shocking Grasp and I don't use it. Should have picked something like Friends instead, actually.

I don't use Gale in my party, but I'll explain the rationale here.
Light and Mage Hand are utility cantrips. Froggy does not innately have Darkvision so she benefits from Light. Shocking Grasp ended up not being useful in retrospect and could have been replaced by something like Friends for if she ever needed to interact with NPCs.
Shield is her bread and butter: ablative protection in combat to make her tankier after she leaps into the fray. Magic Missile is for cherry tapping weakened enemies, breaking concentration and getting in guaranteed hits if she's debuffed.
Enhance Leap. Feather Fall and See Invisibility are for utility and exploration. She used to have Longstrider as well, but I have a hireling Wizard cast that on everyone at the start of each day. Hirelings also cast Darkvision and a number of other buffs on everyone who benefit from them. Misty Step is for repositioning and general mobility.
Enhance Leap, Mage Hand and Misty Step also stack with her Gith racial abilities, essentially giving her extra uses of them.
Protection from Evil and Good, Enlarge/Reduce and Magic Weapon are different options for buffing herself during the fight, depending on what kind of enemies she's going up against.

You're using the wrong spells or flubbed your build. For me personally EK is 20 INT heavy armor, magic initiate druid(for quarterstaves scaling from casting stat with shillegah) and CON.

There's like 5% of the game left when you reach max level anon, EK seems like CBT before Act 2 because how reliant you are on green-blue items and after act 2 everything becomes a snooze fest difficulty wise. Also BattleMaster is fricking busted, the dices you get are basically spells on short rest compared too normal spell slots
EK becomes operational at lvl 4 where you get magic initiate druid. EK needs to be build for INT. lvl 8 you'll have 20 INT and you'll be using your INT to attack with quarterstaves.
Eldritch Knight is most useful for spells that don't actually give a frick about your Int like Shield and Absorb Elements
That all depends on your build. You can easily get 20 INT with EK and still be viable in mele.

If you know how to play Bard it's probably the best class in the game because it's amazing at skill checks, and later on it gets access to all great spells, and the game gives you all the companions you need to fulfill the other roles. Just play Bard and have 3 martial companions if you like, that's a good way to get into spellcasting.
