Ive always trusted the devs, but there is something about how EW is being handled that makes me doubt them, maybe it's the weird content decisions, the void patches, the 2 min meta, but it feels like Yoshi is only listening to the annoying morons at OF and streamers and not the community itself.
But I think what is really happening is that dude who showed up at an EW fanfest panel that is actually ghost directing the game while Yoshi handles 16, I think all these weird decisions are from the ghost director instead.
Seems like that might be true, Yoshi just shows face to reassure people and someone else is making bad decisions
