They went from 14 days to 10.
Doesn't matter. I have no idea when borders will re-open, and things will go back to normal. I'm just planning for that day.

I recommend bookmarking this Japanese news site called Gigazine and looking up the tag Gastronomic Adventure where you will find articles written by a Japanese reporter about nearly every seasonal or limited time food and drink in Japan. The articles are all in English as well. This saves you the time in searching for new foods to try in Japan as well as ideas for souvenirs to bring home.

For example, since October 7, 2021, Lotteria is offering 2 types of burgers: (1) Shrimp Rice Burger with tartar sauce on shrimp patties and (2) Exquisite Cheese Rice Burger with patties baked with 2 kinds of natural cheeses

Did you know that in Japan, there are many kinds of energy drinks? People in Japan drink energy drinks in various situations from overcoming poor physical conditions to defeating sleepiness
Most energy drinks sold in Japan are categorized/classified as Quasi-Drugs or Medicine according to Japanese regulations which makes them vastly different from soft drinks such as Monster Energy and Red Bull. You will also notice that most Japanese energy drinks are packaged in brown bottles to protect the contents against UV ray damage.
Lipovitan and Oronamin C are known as Japan's oldest energy drinks and the two could be considered as the world's first modern energy drinks long before Red Bull emerged onto the scene!
Here is how energy drinks are stored in Japanese convenience stores.

Basically, if you see a brown bottle in the soft drink section of a Japanese grocery store, there is a good chance you are looking at a Japanese energy drink. Again, brown bottles protect against any UV ray damage.

When is he going to Japan?
They're in an energy crisis!
It's just going to make the plane touching down in Narita all the more sweeter when that day comes
I assume you've been saving money since then for your next trip?
Ah RIP
In that case, I reccomend not using hotels, and finding a place on Airbnb.
You can get away with no English in Tokyo. Osaka is a discount Tokyo, with less english (rural Japan has no english), and better food. It's known as the kitchen of Japan for a reason.
I spent years waiting for Bannerlord to only find out I can barely run it at 15fps on the lowest settings, while it also used 100% of my RAM, CPU, and GPU. I'm too much of a lazy shit to upgrade though
>This build cost me ~500 bucks 2 years ago, today I could sell it for almost double the price.
Dude same, it's insane.
Now that I have a workstation laptop with a good-enough gpu I'm actually considering doing it and buying an even more powerful machine when the GPU situation improves.
The GT 710 is at least the 2GB GDDR5 version, at least. It can play GTA 5 and get about 35-40 FPS at 720p. You could be stuck with the 1 GB DDR3.
Or worse, the Fermi version.
>1660 TI
My dream card. 1660 Super was better priced. I had a chance to buy one for $280 at the start of this year, but bought a GTX 1050 TI for $100 instead.
I regret it a bit. But both are going for stupid prices these days.
>bought my 1660 super for $229 in 2019 >have a spare rx 580, rx 560 and 1060 sitting in the closet in case of emergency
should really sell the whole lot and get a 3080 ti to pair with my 3700x.

xeon has always been a meme. just because you come across a $50 12/24 doesn't mean the motherboard hasn't been marked up 500% by pajeets. the only time it's worth it is is you have an older socket already available.
>*not to be shit
I played maybe 5 modern games since I build my PC. But I'm the kind of guy who sinks hundreds of hours into a game when I really like it.

I was supposed to fly to Japan on 15th March 2020. As you can imagine, it didn't fly so well.
It's just going to make the plane touching down in Narita all the more sweeter when that day comes

lolno, they reimbursed the plane tickets and hotel reservation, but I'm a filthy NEET. Time only drains money.

Fast enough for my needs, not fast enough for my wants. But I've conquered the silly urge of upgrading for the sake of upgrading.
Amusing side note: This build cost me ~500 bucks 2 years ago, today I could sell it for almost double the price.
