It explains it pretty well in the text on the bottom left there. Each stat can be boosted up to 255, and you can only boost stats until the "F" numbers add up to 255 or higher, so you want to look at what you have and spread out your stat gains so you boost the relevant stats. The "finishing touch" list of of reciepes for Pokeblocks that give massive stat boosts, but also increase your F number by a lot, so these should only be used as your very final Pokeblock.

Also the main thing to get is that the ingame berries suck dick and you need to use Gamecube/e-reader/event berries if you want the actually good boosts. And play with 3 friends.

so the F-Value is the sheen? what does the "Eff" mean?

It says in the fricking picture, it's a calculated number showing the general bang for your buck you get.

F is for Feel, "sheen" was the gen 4 name.

Add 10% to the boost to the buffed stat (Speed in your case) and subtract 10% of the boost to the debuffed stat (Attack in your case), UNLESS the Pokeblock contains an equal or greater boost to the other.

The e-reader berries aren't the hard part, once you get a set of those cards you can mass produce the berries by manipulating the growth and harvest rates through loading specific berry cards at specific times. The TRUE fricker is the liechi berry. That one is ONLY available on Mirage Island, which has a 1/65536 chance per day of appearing. That's a 0.001% chance of appearing.

You can increase that chance through increasing the number of Pokemon with unique ID numbers in your party, which means in total (without releasing and catching new ones) you can show 426 Pokemon, since there's 14 boxes and each box can store 30 Pokemon + the 6 in the party.
For efficiency's sake we'll say 421, so you can easily swap 5 more into your party without needing to frick around with depositing your team.
That's 421/65536, or a 0.6% chance per day. Checking all 421 Pokemon takes on average about two hours, which means if your patience lets you do this for ten hours a day at 5 resets (lmao) that's 2105 checks, increasing the chance to 3.2%.
    Per day.

You're better off either injecting the berry, or RNG manipulating using a dead battery to lock in the secret number to generate a Pokemon with an ID that matches perfectly to reach it. Otherwise you will burn yourself out trying to get that damn berry. Like I did.

      i have PKHeX.
and i want to go to mirage island just to say that i've been there.
is there some sort of schenanigan-assfrickery i can do in PKHeX to make mirage island appear?

What happens is every day the game generates a two-byte value known called the "Mirage Island Number", between 00000 and 65535. This is compared with the first two bytes of the personality value of Pokemon in your party, which is an unsigned 32-bit integer ranging from 0 (32 zeroes in binary) to 4294967295 (32 ones in binary). If the two bytes match, Mirage Island appears. If it doesn't match, it doesn't.

This means if you want to manipulate it you'll need to be able to see the mirage island secret number and the personality values of Pokemon in your party, and be able to edit both. I don't know PKHeX, I don't know if you can do that. I do know that Emerald's default value is 0, and the mirage island value won't be updated if there's no power to the embedded battery, so starting a new save with a dead battery guarantees a number you can RNG manipulate to catch a Pokemon for. Good luck, anon.

if any of my fellow autists here have a gb operator where you can play carts on your PC, download triggers PC. it hasn't been updated in like 6 years, but it acts like pokemon box with way more features. there's even a button that let's you check ALL of your gen 3 pokemon to see if you can visit mirage Island on any game. I still have yet to ever see it in my entire career, and I got the game at launch.
