I always end up pushing my neck towards the monitor despite wearing my glasses. It just feels more comfortable hunched over with my neck totally perpendicularly forward. What the frick do I do, it hurts to keep it straight now.

Start working out.
frick that i'm not some homosexual who cares about muscles
Okay, then stop complaining.
Muscles are what hold your bones in place, ie what determines your posture
>he can be beaten up and raped by a homosexual
NGMI
so you're just a homosexual then?
israelitery
this post is alarming, but so are the replies to it. you should tell this anon that working out isn't just about getting big; it's about strengthening your body for the long run
and don't take what i'm saying as YOU GOTTA GET BIG because it's not, and i know people deflect like this for this topic
and to be more on topic, it can quite literally fix posture
What exercises will fix me
Cable face pulls.
Andre the Giant couldn't lift the weight you're demanding, anon.
Stuff involving your traps. part of the reason you lean forward like that is because the trapezius muscles have atrophied. If your traps are fixed they'll naturally pull your neck and head back into place.
And what are traps?
traps are gay__________
Work out your entire body. Do things like squats, press, rows, deadlift etc.
Christ you're such a dumb shit. Why would muscle memory related to a sitting posture have anything to do with all those exercises
I mean yes the muscles involved in pushing your chest out are shortened and need stretching but consciously developing betters for sitting is the only solution
anything specific like back, neck, shoulders?
What's your issue?
>picrl issue
see
This and also just stretch your neck out every once in awhile. I just sit up straight, or even lean back a little, and push my neck back and my shoulders forward slightly a few times till the tightness releases.
>nochin vs Chin God
Find some wall with space. Lean against it completely straight with your heels also against the wall. Raise and lower your arms in a circle from above your head down to your thighs without bending.
Now do that every couple of hours for the rest of your life.
I was with you until
>Now do that every couple of hours for the rest of your life.
you must be joking surely?
DO YOU WANT GOOD POSTURE OR NOT FATTY?
NOW FIND A WALL
My doctor actually recommended doing it every hour, but that's impossible I know. Still, if you don't want to frick up your neck and lower back, you have to do something. You don't want to enter your thirties with lower back pain and golem neck.
man that shit is hard the stretching/pulling in my back is insane
When I started doing it I swear it made my fingers go numb. Now it's a lot easier.
"Good posture" is a meme. Just make sure to shift posture every so often and you're good or better yet get up and stretch
fricking lies an asian Black person said this to me in high school and it ruined my posture for life and gave me scoliosis shut the frick up alex xu
If you weren't born with scoliosis then you should be able to fix your back
This is fairly natural. Sitting with your spine perpendicular to the chair is worse, and it hurts because the human spine is not evolved to do it. Slouching is natural, the only alternatives are either standing up or laying back
What's wrong with chinks?
Is it the amount of blacked porn they post?
>janny realizing he's the problem
he's not actually mad, otherwise he wouldn't have taken off his glasses
say that to my face spermskinBITCH.

Reminder that he makes three times as much as you do.
Put your monitor at head height and stand up.
Test out a bunch of chairs and see what is most comfortable to sit in with proper posture. Also figure out what height your monitor should be at to promote proper posture.
You need to make correct those muscles imbalances and make sure you occasionally change position slightly whenever you're gaming, easier said than done tho
thanks will do
Play laying on your back with a VR headset, preferably with no pillow
i started doing overhead press with dumbbells/free weight like a week ago and i try to do it a few times a week will that be enough?
oh and dumbbell shrugs
I've been doing these for months 3x15 nothings growing
do abs/core exercises too getting developed abdominal muscles will take a load of your back muscles
my core sucks ass i'm thinking of doing some ab stuff and rows but right now i can't deadlift hoping to change that after the summer
1. Do the wall exercise.
You'll find out what the feeling of proper posture should be so now you know you should try to maintain it during the day.
2. Make sure your pillow isnt fricking thick that it's make you face the wall in front of you. The pillow should be thick enough to support your head but still facing up at the ceiling.
You should probably do some body weight exercises, your muscles are probably atrophied. Focus on your shoulders with pull ups and push ups. search Hybrid Calisthenics Pull Ups on youtube if you're too weak to do a proper pull up.
neither has good posture though
My lower back already hurts and I'm only 20. I'm not gonna make it am I?
if you really cared you would start doing research on how to exercise and mold your body into something beautiful that you are proud of and that lets you move through life with feeling good.
if you are injured, you can try going to Physical Therapy. Every time I get a persistent muscle pain, I go and their regimens fix me right ujp.
Right now, I got sciatica and after 2 sessions I already feel better.
Practice mindfulness. When I started becoming truly aware of keeping my back straight 24 hours a day, it felt awkward, like my shoulders and neck wanted to stretch back forward again. After a couple months it became so natural to keep my back straight that I prefer sitting without a backrest. It's better for all your organs as well because keeping your back straight and shoulders back gives everything the space it needs to function better. Like anything it's just self discipline, which sucks at first then becomes addicting.
Damn that sounds good will try that
You just need to walk around with some weights, carrying them side to side with both hands for a few minutes a day.
>he thinks anterior pelvic tilt is good posture
>he doesn't do earthing daily to reduce inflammation and loosen his body, thereby naturally inducing good posture
>furthermore, he doesn't incline his bed by 2-6 inches to let gravity drain his lymphatic system, thereby waking up feeling healthy and refreshed
>want to have good posture
>have glorious man breasts that would make flat women jealous
I guess it’s a hunchback for the rest of my life!
Have you tried losing weight?
Man bras exist
lmao
people still see your b***hbreasts no matter how much you slump

Bought one of these recently, helps a lot with posture when sitting for long periods.
Cool! reminds me of mine, I actually made it!
Reminder to poop correctly by squating over the toilet when taking a shit
>The frick did you say, b***h?
Now kiss
>fix neck posture
>now I have no chin
>tfw
He's clearly forcing it, which is not something you want to do
oh not the guy in that picture, I was talking about me
my bad
TRUST NO ONE; NOT EVEN YOURSELF
workout core muscles, stronger abs will result in less sloching, less leaning over. you might be leaning over so much because you're looking at a screen all day and you can't see the screen unless you're right next to it.
just walking around and getting general exercise as well, it will improve your mood and energy levels
I'm so happy I didn't have a smartphone growing up
>Tfw I have so many problems besides posture issues
I have so many fricking issues in my body that it would take me years to fix. I might need to go to a physical therapist or some shit.
It's never too late Anon, you might live a lot longer than you expect
What problems anon? I'm
and
Plus my what appears to be plantar fascitis although I had no problem walking 6km (it was 3km to the lighthouse an then 3km baack) and I had no problem walking but then if I have to walk to the fricking gym which is near then my feet hurt like hell. I feel like its related to my anxiety and somehow it makes my muscles tense up
dude looks flattened
2 herniated discs and 1 burst disc reporting in.
Get a good chair and strengthen your body
