That's not how supply and demand works, for example the reason why Sony's games always depreciate so quickly is because no one wants them due to their incredibly low quality but stores are overstocked so they eventually have to reduce the price to shift as much stock as possible. Sony also has to maintain parity with them as well so their prices drop too.
On the other hand Nintendo games never drop because their large selection of games are constantly in demand.

Base price for Nintendo games are $60. Some smaller games like WarioWare are $50. Playstaion games are $70. They also have smaller games be around $50 or $40. Playstation has more sales after a few months so games usually go for $30. Nintendo doesn’t really do sales so most their games stay at $60.
Comparing base price, Nintendo games are cheaper. Comparing an after-sale price, Playstation games are cheaper.
Either console, I will never pay more than $60.
