Most of my characters are big, brutish warriors covered in scars and magical items. The main character I write into all of my stories since I was a kid is a veteran warrior-monk with one eye, who is described as having an "otherworldly air of wisdom and intimidation" about him. (He's 400 years old and been across the multiverse, there's very little he hasn't dealt with directly.)
The character I'm playing currently definitely looks like an outcast. He's a cleric/mage that wanders between towns trying to solve people's magic-related problems in exchange for magical information or artifacts. Bandits have occasionally seen him as a target, but I think he's starting to gain a reputation after he responded to threats with a huge fireball in the middle of their camp while they were resting.
Egloo Olson, street name Bizzle, is 1.6m tall, 59kg, and covered in bad stick-n-poke tattoos. If they're scared of anything it's that he's going to ask for spare change.
Yeah, I can see that. He carries a snubnose Ruger Warhawk and is an expert housebreaker but he's a tweaker for sure. Also tries to sell everybody watches, phones, and other small tech all the time because his income is minor gang.
>Engiseer dwarf >Raider raised wasteland surgeon >Gene augmented space explorer turned freedom fighter >A nice xenomorph >Darwin's grab bag mutant ballerina >Hobo shaman of Scorpion who does Brotherhood of Nod cosplay on missions >Dwarf underworld druid >Park Ranger in ultra violent pokemon world >Wasteland nomad who's been through a blender (Latest PC)
Most of 'em are tough as nails sorts, and a few are horrifying monstrosities.
Nah. He looks approachable and friendly when he's interacting with others.
But he also parades around in full plate armor emblazoned with symbols indicating that he is a high ranking official affiliated with the main religion of the setting, so people usually know not to frick with him.
My last character was a lanky, homely dude who wasn't especially strong, but tougher than you'd expect. He had a fairly mild manner that didn't really inspire fear.
My last character looked like a hobo who'd been rolled down the stairs a few dozen times. He didn't look very tough, but he had crazy eyes (rather, eye), and people tended not to give him trouble because he looked like the type to roll with it.
As a dragonborn, he looks scary and tough to non-dragonborn (mostly because draconic races suffer from a bad case of 'resting b***h face') but among other draconic races he's seen as a soft, femfrickboi.
My character is a tiefling so people are actually inclined to frick with him
Why? Are they racist?
Don't you ever get embarrassed about putting out these zero-effort posts? You don't even participate in the threads. What's the point?

Based AF
Haha, people are quick to underestimate mages
my character is a cleric and a knight of Solamnia(?) in a Dragonlance game my buddy is running, so everyone treats him with both awe and suspicion
>awe and suspicion
That'll work too

LMFAO, reminds me of Bubbles from the Wire

I see you have patrician taste in characters anon 😉
No but the NPC do frick with him.

They've run out of things even remotely coherent to make spam threads about, so now it's just
>what's your imagination like?
I fricking hate our homosexualy mods who allow this shit.
Mods have allowed this homosexual since 2022, he has always spammed threads with his art asking pointless non-system specific questions
>non-system specific questions
Go back to your general heathen, /tg/ has always been about this kind of stuff
have a nice day autist

she's small and un-intimidating, but very heavily armoured(forge cleric)
>How tough do you imagine your character looking?
Depends on the character
