Literally everyone had problems with monetization and pay 2 win in D Immortal, if you think people didn't like core mechanics in it then you need to wake the frick up
you would have to be fricking moronic to not sell the game, people just buy it because it's diablo, no matter how bad it is, it's like wow, brand nowadays is much more valuable than an actual good product
The 2.5D camera angle makes precise movements needlessly challenging. Angle the camera closer to being top-down to make it easier for the player to see where they are on the map and in return ramp up the difficulty of the shit they have to avoid through movement. And make it a game you can play offline, trying to do fast-paced precise shit in an online-only game is infuriating.
Third person camera, stats and combat is affected by physics, campaign closer to 2 (less, quests but more meaningful) or just make it a sandbox where you mark your objectives.
Isometric camera and classic controls need to frick off already, the genre should have evolved with 3 but here we are.
I would make titan quest 2

IMO Immortal is better and I'm not even memeing. I genuinely prefer it to 4. Guess I'm definitely not Red Shirt guy.
what aspects of it do you prefer? genuine question, I never tried it but I really enjoyed the D4 beta

Are there any ARPG's that actually have decent RPG mechanics and quests and shit?
The only one I can think of is Divine Divinity. Maybe the Sacred games?
