erase them from the earth
By doing away with the version split.
Online multiplayer. Come on dude, you left the bar on the ground.
the game will be worthless if it doesn't have online
it doesn't need online
Mega Man? He's dead.
Give me a Pokemon game with this style combat.
Sounds good.
is that an actual game,
Yeah
what’s the name of it
Something Japanese
Too soulful for nu pokemon
optional tutorials and make obtaining bugfrags easy like in 3
I can't
It's already perfect
bros... ngl... i feel like... emulating...
.
Then emulate. What's the problem?
do it, just finished 6. gonna do some post game stuff after work tomorrow.
What's the best emulator for these games?
mGBA.
even with the JP patch I had no issue with RetroArch gpsp on my Vita. very simple series to emulate.
I used mgba on retroarch, vbam also works. tried the dab patch too and it works fine but I wanted to play the JP version for the extra content.
This kills me inside, but having a taunt feature for multiplayer would actually be great.
yeah its goofy as frick, theres plenty of other patches for the game.

More build variety. Allow for using multiple letters at once subject to a memory limit(for example you can have Megaman collect RAM modules and if you want to use multiple letters the total memory of the chips you use must be under your RAM). Reduce the overall power of PAs or make them harder to activate/use.
Remove random encounters and have enemies appear on the map
Full 3D and 3D camera but have the battles at a fixed side angle like BN and not like SF's
Voiced
Random encounters are annoying but overworld encounters wouldn't work with MMBN because most of the internet levels are nothing but narrow walkways.
>most of the internet levels are nothing but narrow walkways
Then don't make them like that then.
It's always bother me how the internet is like that. Yeah yeah gameboy limitation and all but it's still bother me that their idea of the internet is a bunch of walkways.
They could follow the manga version. One mega big open world that connects everything together which exists on the top layer. The lower layers are the undernets and secret areas, the bottom is the foundation of the whole net.
deleting those b***h ass "ghost" type enemies that go invisible invulnerable start every 2 seconds
for that matter delete all of the other annoying time wasting enemies in the games as well like those fricks who always switch plains if you move to the one they're on FRICK
That issue would be easily countered with streamlined folder switching and customization. Star Force 3 allowed for the former, to great effect.
dude
dude hear me out
so like
roguelite deckbuilder
Seriously, why do they default to this? Is it because the action card-game part is so hard to code/design that they can't design the rest of the game themselves?
chip shuffle is now part of your basic abilities
Mega Man & Bass & Knuckles Battle Network
Add SEX of course
These games have too many "walk here, talk to person, go all the way back, talk to other guy, go back to original guy, proceed" shit. It's awful
Starforce 2 nearly drove me insane with this. Almost felt like parody of the bad aspects of the BN/SF plot progression formula
they already did, it's called NETWORK TRANSMISSION
Give more room for chip descriptions, at times they get nigh indecipherable
Ignore them and finish StarForce instead, goddammit
Kelvin was found. Geo realized how much he loved Luna when he thought she died. Cepheus and Rogue got their time in the post-game. There's nothing that needs to be really explored or wrapped up, barring maybe Rogue's line, but you can see that as setup for his boss fight anyways.
Pat's gone. Deal with it.
starforce got it's ending, geo's arc about finding his dad is over and most of the important things got an answer unless you are that obsessed about the geobowl or ace's fate
SF4 would have been just a new arc like the dr regal from BN and nobody likes regal
>or ace's fate
it's already established that he's regrettably fine
And moreover there's still plenty that could be explored about the satella police (which sounds like what SF4 was trying to do anyway). Surely you can't just inflate an organization's role and importance out of nowhere like that just to leave it be after one game
I'd like a "battle network 7" that has the Lan desendant as the protagonist, showing whatever he was doing during the starforce games
Then one that guy has a solid backstory make starforce 4
Starforce 4 would have you find out about Lan and stopping Duo once and for all
No 2-versions shit. The 2-versions thing is just barely acceptable when everything is able to be traded between them. Having 2 versions with exclusive Souls and Gigachips is just greedy
Jacking in doesn't just deposit you in a specific spot but gives you the option to spawn in multiple spots within the same network.
>jack in to scilab, select SciLab 1/2/3 or Sci Square
Some kind of function to netbattle other characters on the fly IE a phone or messaging system. You can Talk to characters for flavour text or Battle them if it's an option.
>Marker for jacking out IE "Leave Marker?" so you can return to that spot from any jack in port.
Just little quality of life things like that.
making 7th game
removing souls + bringing back styles
removing full synchro/emotion (overpowered)
bring back 10 chips to pick from per turn
bigger + more intricate navicust
navicust can additionally let you:
-remove the cap on the buster
-allow use of more then 5 chip per turn
-bigger folders
-increase cap on duplicate chips in folder
-additional rare chip codes of ?,!,~,#
-use multi codes at once(besides *)expand the library to include chips from all 6 games at once
>removing souls + bringing back styles
nah that's gay, styles were completely irrelevant since BN3 thanks to the navicust and souls/crosses are superior in every aspect
I feel being able to soul 10 times a battle into different things makes it lose part of its charming power
also I miss bug style
Allow for Styles+Souls
Even with the streamlined implementation Doublesoul felt clunkier than styles.
>2 styles like BN2
>nerfed Styles like BN3
>BN6 Souls
>option to start battle with a specific soul
>sacrifice any chip to prolong souls
the best thing about BN is that you could break the game, but they held back from letting you break it all the way.
Navi swapping mid-battle, with bosses forcing your hand as they change up what elements they're weak to or even outright nullify.
darkchips become a chip type you can add to your folder like standard/mega/giga
max of 3, they all count as * code and have nodrawbacks
you have to actually go out and earn them though
more navis and viruses couldn't hurt
Make it like the anime
I would make a game of my own in a similar style, but give up because of many reasons five years ago.
But for a real suggestion, implement custom Navis and give them AI conversational skills. Stuff like GPT-3 is pretty impressive these days.
i would consolidate several games worth of content into a single reboot game
go back to sucking dicks on reddit
*ahem*
Mayl
This goes for every GBA game, a zoomed-out overworld camera.
Make a sequel to Transmission.
No I don't care if nobody asked for it, I want it. Frick you.
You have shit taste.
I don't give a frick mate.
I'm just trying to make you a better person.
Maybe if someone who's actually played a 2D platformer designs it. And then somehow fix the entire card/custom system into something that actually works with the genre.
Transmission is probably the only game I can think of where the very first boss you fight is objectively the hardest in the game.
I would say the best option would be to make chips work more like boss abilities from Classic and X. You get weaker chips like sword or cannon from exploring or killing enemies, with the ability to upgrade them by collecting more, and major chips with boss weapons or movement upgrades from beating bosses and clearing sections. Healing chips are hidden like subtanks. Before you jack in you select a set of Chips to equip in your upgrade folder, and then can collect blank chip drops to get energy back for them.
But I always wanted one. It'd probably work out better with so many metroidvanias out nowadays.
I emulated 1 and got a bored because of the random encounter shit so remove that cancer from vidya
By not making me start back from my last save when I die
i would consolidate several games worth of content into a single reboot game
idk why you added filesize to my reaction pepe, kinda defeats the consolidation aspect no?
This is just one I had lying around, I didn't make it specifically for you
Frog posters deserve to get shot.
Shut up
When people ask for online, what do they mean? Is there PvP or something?
>haven't played these games
Yes.
So you just shoot at each other and try to dodge
theres battle chips too
?t=1067
>Battle network esports
Lol i had no idea this was a thing
Would a VR megaman game work?
Improve it by adding more forms
Tons more
cut down on the number of chip codes a bit. Roughly 15-16 is enough to be diverse while still keeping things separate. And of course this isn't counting codes like X that are reserved for special chips.
Alternately keep 26 codes but give better incentive to make folders with 2 or 3 codes over 1.
Far fewer random encounters, way more chips with way more functions
back to full health after each fight same as BN1
Make BN1's main internet less of a samey mess.
no more random encounter. thats it
Does this game have marriage mechanics? It could use marriage mechanics
High fidelity 3D models
Photo mode
I want a good 3D model of Lan so bad
