Should I play this game?
It's on sale right now. I liked the first one, but I know this one has literal troony stuff. Worth it to complete the story and the gameplay?
Make the farm house the main "hub", the player creates a new character, you are now at said farm with only Ellie living with you, you build up the relationship by going scavaging together and doing whatever other homosexual shit you do at an farm
so basically a dating/survival sim and the goal is to impregnate her
Who cares, Part 2 will always be canon and the end result is a miserable game filled with unlikable horrible people. If Part 3 ever exists, it gonna be a hard sell this time unless it revolves around an entirely new cast with a timeskip, there's nothing left to latch onto as of now.

This. At the end of the first game, Joel and Ellies story is done, they literally ride off into the sunset at the end. They should have just made it an anthology series, where each game is a different story with different characters just taking place in that world. Instead they just wanted to tell a revenge bad story, which at that point why even make the game if you're that bankrupted for ideas?
